Austin came in through the door as Aidan looked at him. "What the Demons happened to you? You look like shoot..."
"Don't even," Austin warned him. "Where is Chloe?"
"In the kitchen...but I don't know if she wants to see you," Aidan announced. But he got up and helped Austin into the Kitchen.

Chloe was on her phone, texting her mom what happened. “My mom thinks I should just….stay here” she said, not even noticing Austin come in. “Mols can you watch Lia? I’m going to go shower” Chloe said. Molly nodded and Chloe left the room heading upstairs to shower. She went into the bathroom and locked the door. She turned on the water but turned it off as she started crying again. Chloe sighed and went back downstairs, and into the living room, sitting down as she cried again.
Molly came in with Lia, who was asleep. Molly put her in the pack n’ play and sat beside her.

"Of course, she is still pissed," Austin grumbled as he sat down, his head pounding and he thought he could feel the blood vessels pounding in his head.

Molly looked at Austin and she stood up, leaving the room. “Yea, she’s still pissed with you. You admitted to her that you’ve thought about cheating on her with other women. How can you expect her not to be pissed right now?” Molly asked as she fed the dogs. “Like…I don’t understand how you can just tell your wife that you’ve thought about cheating on her” Molly said.

"What the Demons are you talking about?" Austin asked as he did not remember saying that to Chloe whatsoever. "Ah, shoot..." Austin cursed himself as everything came flooding back to him. The fight last night.

Molly looked over at Austin, her eyes growing wide when he apparently didn’t remember telling Chloe all those things from the night before. When it looked liked he remembered Molly looked at him again. “I heard her crying herself to sleep last night” Molly admitted as she got herself some coffee.

"God Darn it..." Austin whispered as he stood up. He then walked into the living room where he saw Chloe. Even though his head was pounding, he still needed to apologize. "Chloe?"

“I don’t want to talk to you” Chloe mumbled as she turned away as a text popped up from James. Chloe grabbed her phone and read the text from her brother.
Bro-
James- WHAT THE Demons DO YOU MEAN YOU TOLD YOU HES THOUGHT ABOUT CHEATING ON YOU??
Chloe- exactly that
James- that little bastard. I warned him not to hurt you. 😤
Chloe- James please I don’t need this right now
James- you’re right, I’m sorry Clo, what do you need?
Chloe thought for a second then replied. -I don’t know to be honest-
She sent the text and looked back at Austin. “There is absolutely nothing in this world you can say to me to make things better after what happened last night” Chloe said as another tear rolled down her face. Ellie licked it away but more tears kept coming

"I know what I said hurt you last night. The truth is, I never thought about cheating on you. I just said it to piss you off," Austin said as he looked away. "I would never do that to you. I guess I was just angry about what happened the other day."

Chloe was barely listening to Austin as what her brother said replayed in her mind. He was more pissed than Chloe, which was understandable because he had warned Austin not to hurt Chloe and Austin did exactly that. “I told you, I don’t want to talk to you” Chloe said to Austin as she got up and stormed into the kitchen. Chloe looked at Molly and Molly nodded, knowing what Chloe meant. Chloe smiled at her and she tuned and went upstairs and into Mollys room, where she closed the door, and locked it. Ellie hard on her heals.

Austin couldn't hold it any longer. Heading to the bathroom, Austin began to vomit. He sat on the bathroom floor with his hand on his knee after he was done. Wiping his mouth and flushing the toilet, Austin just looked at the ceiling. What could he do to make Chloe feel better?

Chloe sat on Mollys bed and pulled the covered over her as she began crying once more. “He hates me” she mumbled under her breath. “He hates me and there’s nothing I can do about it anymore” she pulled Ellie close to her and rubbed her behind the ears as she licked the tears away. Chloe looked down at Ellie and smiled. “Thanks sweet girl” Chloe said, kissing the top of her head. “At least I know you still love me” Chloe said. Ellie wagged her tail and licked Chloe’s face. Chloe lay down in Mollys bed and she slowly managed to fall asleep, waking up an hour or so later to someone knocking on the door.

Austin knocked on Molly's room as he knew that Chloe had gone in there. His head was still hurting from the night before. "Chloe, we need to talk."

Chloe was still a bit drowsy as she had just woken up, but some how she managed to unlock Mollys door and open it, letting Austin in. She sat against the head board of the bed and stared at him. Waiting for him to make another rude comment about how he would think about cheating on her. Ellie’s head was in Chloe’s lap, her eyes never leaving Chloe’s. “About what?” Chloe finally asked. “I’ve said this three times already, I have nothing to say to you. You can’t just tell me you’ve thought about cheating on me and expect to get away with it” Chloe scoffed. “That’s…” Chloe couldn’t finish her sentence as her eyes filled with tears once more and she buried her face in Ellie’s fur. Ellie licking the tears away once more.
