After two hours of love making, Chloe herd Lia crying. She put her head against the pillow and sighed. “Someone’s awake from their nap” Chloe said, getting up and putting her clothes on before she went into Lias room and brought her downstairs so she could have a snack.

"God Darn..." Austin sighed after Chloe had left to go take care of Lia. He thought for a moment. Maybe one night a couple of nights Lauren could take Lia and him and Chloe could get a hotel room for some privacy. One thing he hated was being interrupted during his love making. He laid his head against his pillow. He wanted to text molly to come take care of Lia so that they could continue their love making. But he knew that would not work.

Chloe gave Lia some cheerios and she giggled when Chloe handed them to her. “Do you want to go to the playground?” Chloe asked. Lia clapped. Chloe smiled and called up,to Austin. “Babe, we’re going to the playground today, remember?” She asked, as she went back over to Lia

"Darn it..." Austin announced, forgetting about going to the playground. He sat up as he pulled the covers off him and walked over to his dresser to grab a pair of boxer briefs from it. "Alright babe. I am going to take a shower really quick!" Austin yelled as he walked into the bathroom to start the shower.

Chloe put Lias tiny shoes on her feet and got her ready to go, Austin was soon downstairs. “Alright, I’ve got her snack and some water to drink if she gets thirsty” Chloe said, as they headed out to the truck. She clipped Lia into the car seat and whistled for Ellie to jump in as well. Ellie loved going to the play ground, just as much as Lia did.

"Remember, I can't stay too long. I need to come back and finish packing my bag for tomorrow," Austin announced as he got into the drivers seat of his truck. He started it before pulling away from the house to head to the park in town.

Chloe nodded and looked at Lia through her mirror as they drove to the park. When they got to the park, Chloe grabbed Ellie’s leash and Austin wheeled Lia to the playground.

Since it was the middle of the day, there were a few people who were at the park either exercising or taking dogs for a walk. Austin helped get Lia out of the stroller and placed her into the swing. Pulling her back a little bit, he let go so that she could start swinging. He smiled at how much joy she was having in the swing. For a moment, he forgot about trying for baby #2 and only thought about what he was seeing right now. Lia having fun.

“Awww” Chloe smiled as Lias face lit up when Austin pushed her. Lia clapped her hands, and Ellie sat down on the malch and she barked each time Lia giggled. “Hey” Chloe looked down at Ellie. “Quiet” she said. Ellie panted and watched Lia swing before she wandered away and was saying hi to other dogs. Chloe looked down a second later, and Ellie was gone. “Babe…” Chloe mumbled.

"What is it, Austin asked as he looked to Chloe after stopping the swing. He noticed that Ellie was gone. Looking around, Austin was not sure where she had went off to. "Chloe, where is Ellie?

“I-I-I don’t know” Chloe stuttered as her heart was pounding. Chloe had gotten Ellie before she had met Austin…and now that she was missing…Chloe’s heart twisted. “Come on, we need to look for her”
Chloe said, as Austin put Lia in the stroller. “ELLIE!” Chloe called

"Ellie!" Austin yelled as he followed Chloe around the park. "shoot, she could be anywhere by now. How did she get lose?" Austin asked as he looked around the park for Ellie.

Chloe felt tears run down her face. Ellie was her best friend, she had her since she was 8 weeks old. Chloe sat down on a park bench and pulled her knees to her chest as tears fell down her face. “I told her to sit…” Chloe mumbled. “S-she usually always stayed” she said as she cried. “Now we may never see her again…and it’s all my fault”

"Chloe, calm down, we'll find her. Just take a moment to gather yourself. Think about where you might find Ellie. What is one thing dogs like to do when they are at the park?" Austin announced as he placed a hand on Chloe's shoulder.
