“Daddy” Lia reached for her father. “Dada, uppie” she said, when Austin picked her up, she giggled and lay her head in his shoulder. “Dada” Lia smiled. “O’s” she said.

"Of course." Austin announced as he took her downstairs and got her breakfast. He sat down as she was eating, looking at his coffee cup as he suddenly felt like a fool. He looked away from Lia as he shut his eyes tight. How could he do what he had done when he had a beautiful daughter at home. He felt guilty.

“Daddy….sad?” Lia asked, looking at her father. “Why sad?” She asked while she took a handful of cheerios. Lia looked at her father, confused as to why he was sad, when Chloe came down a moment later. “Mama” Lia said. Chloe kissed her head. “Good morning honey” Chloe said. “Daddy sad” Lia sad. Chloe looked up at Austin. “Babe?” She looked down at Lia and then at Austin. “Why does Lia say you’re sad?” She asked

Austin does not look at her or answer right away. His voice sounds Shakey as he soon speaks. "When I look at Lia...it reminds me of what I almost lost. I should have been thinking of her. Of both of you. I am so guilty of everything that had happened."

“Don’t think about that” Chloe said, as she hugged him. “You didn’t loose us, I promise you never will” she said, kissing him. “But now when you think about sleeping with another woman….and I can only hope you don’t, you’ll think of Lia and our new baby we’re going to have in 9 months” Chloe said.

"It's hard..." Austin whispers as he finally looks at Lia. He wishes he could take his memories of that night away from him. But it would be a long time till that would happen. How could he forget?

Chloe gazed into his eyes. “I love you, and I’m here for you, no matter what you need, and I’ll continue to be here for you forever” she promised. “Till death do us part” she kissed him deeply. “Promise me that no matter how you’re feeling, right now, it’s about the new life we’re bringing into this world in 9 months” Chloe said

Austin looked at Chloe for a moment. He thought about the words she spoke and smiled. "Maybe we should tell Lauren. She does not know yet. Why don't I text her to come over this afternoon after she gets off and we can tell her the news," Austin said as a smile appears.

“Let’s wait until we actually hear the heart beat” Chloe said. “Because if what happened last time…happens again…” Chloe stopped. “Just a few weeks” she promised as she gave the dogs some breakfast. “I’m you three you can eat” Chloe said. Each dog went to their own bowl and began eating breakfast

Austin's gaze went to Maverick as he noticed that he was walking slower now. He was no longer the young farmdog that he was. He was getting older as he was about 13 years. Austin sighed as he knew that Maverick was getting closer to when he would no longer be here.

Chloe looked over at Austin, and then at Lia. “I’m going to go check on the horses, I’ll be back in a bit” Chloe said, as she walked outside after she had gotten dressed. She walked to the barn and put Beauty’s bridle on, before mounting her bareback. She kicked her into a slow trot and began getting her to their favorite place in the woods. Chloe haulted her, and dismounted, sitting down on the grass, Beauty lay down beside her. “I don’t understand Beauty” Chloe mumbled to her horse. “How could Austin just…just cheat on me and act like everything’s ok now?”

Austin looked at Lia as she ate her Cheerios. He still could not think correctly as his mind was now on Maverick and his condition. He had to make a choice of it came down to it not was one that he was not sure that he could make at the moment.

Molly walked up the stairs. “Morning” she said, looking around. “Where’s Chloe?” She asked, as she looked around for her best friend. She didn’t see her anywhere. “Austin, where’s Chloe?” Molly repeated, as she looked around again. She sat down after she got herself some coffee.
Chloe had begun crying, and she lay back against Beauty. Beauty nuzzled her sweetly before she rested her head on the grass. Chloe smiled and rubbed Beauty’s neck, as she sniffled and rubbed her treads away. “I love him Beauty, and yet…he just…slept with another woman” Chloe muttered. Beauty nickered softly, as if she was actually understanding what Chloe was telling her.

"Huh?" Austin asked as he realized that Molly was talking to him. He turned to her and sighed. "She said something about going to be with Beauty. I am not sure if she is on a trail ride or if she is out in the barn," Austin answered as he took a sip of his coffee. He had noticed that Aidan's car was not there. "I assume Aidan went to the gym?" He asked Molly.

“Yea, he is, but….why don’t you go find her” Molly suggested. “You say you love her, don’t you?” Molly asked. “If that’s true…go look for her” Molly said. “But…if it’s not true…” Molly stopped for a moment. “If…if that’s not true then you have no reason to look for her”
Molly said. “You have to look for her, Austin. Do you want to risk loosing her again?” Molly asked.
