Liv
Liv would rear up she would kick anyone that tried to enter her stall she kicked the first man that tried to enter her stall she felt something ensnare one of her legs and then a tug she fell to the stall floor "get the blindfold on her now she can't kick not with her on the floor" a man said Liv could see nothing but darkness as the thick piece of cloth was wrapped around her head "The Drum horse and the Shire will be sold first" the man said as untied the rope on one of Liv's legs
Drift
Drift would kick his stall door multiple times untill the wood was weak "Put the stallion outside no food and very little water he needs to learn a lesson in respect" one of the man said to a tall muscular man he yanked Drift's lead rope and forced him outside he was tied to a tree with a quarter full water bucket he wasn't alone a huge dog was patroling the area near the tree making escape futile
Gale
"No Lucinda this mare is going to auction and don't try to stop me or else I will ban you from the "Stables" " said Lucinda's father Gale nuzzled Lucinda feeling sorry for her "I'm sorry girl I can't help you .I know you don't belong to us I just pray my father gets caught" Lucinda said before walking away from Gale's stall she walked towards Ava "wow..I have never seen such a beauty like you I'm so sorry this is happening to all of you I wish I could free you all" Lucinda said before walking out of the stable following her father

She nickered towards some footsteps and reached her muzzle out, her body in between her baby and the men. She felt hand caress over her face as her head was tied up tighter. "After the shire and drum horse, sell this Clydesdale and her foal. Make sure she is well fed, we need to keep the foal alive" A younger man said. "Can we keep her daddy, please?" A young girl, about 9, said her eyes wide with excitement. "hmmm, I'll ask, I like the shire and drum horse to. Then, the colt wouldn't have to go through the sale and the other 2 could be saved" he said heading off to go ask.

Ava looked around as she was scared. The whites of her eyes showed against the dark markings on her face. Then a blindfold was placed over her eyes and she was suddenly on the ground. Fear ran through her even more as she could not see anything. Then a sweet voice called out of a young girl. "Daddy, why do we have to do this? These horses belong to people who already love them. Why can't we take them back?" "Ella, just shut up! We are doin' this for the money that will save us from the poor house after your Momma died. Now, come on," the man with the 5 o'clock shadow snapped as he walked towards the door. "Just a minute, Daddy...that barn cat and her kittens need fed. Go on without me. I can walk home myself," Ella announced as she ran towards the back of the barn. A moment later after everyone was gone, Ella returned with a yellow bucket and scoop in hand. She set the bucket on the ground before entering the stalls of each horse and pulling the blindfolds off. She was careful around the mare with the foal and jumped back out of the stall. She then made sure to put some feed in each of the stalls so that the horses had something to eat. She then opened Ava's door to pull all the ropes and blindfold off Ava. But she did not jump back like she did the others. "I am sorry that this is happening to you. Daddy never used to be this way until my Momma died last year. Daddy says the only way we can make lots of money is by selling horses. He never told me the horses were stolen though. I figured it out when I saw that none of the horses had papers." She sighed as she slowly reached up to pet Ava. "Your mane is so pretty. And those markings, too. I am sure someone loved you. I bet their heart is real broken right now..." Ava let the girl touch her neck. Her hands felt soft like her owners. They were kind as well. Just like her owners. Ava took a step forward as she whickered. "I promise, I am goin' to find a way to get you out of here. All of you. Once I turn 18, I am gonna turn my Daddy in for his crimes. This is not right. I told him I would get a job to help support us. But he would not listen. He said he had a plan. Well, now look at what it's turned him into. A criminal," Ella sighed as tears filled her eyes. |

Liv
Liv would shake her head and mane glad to be rid of that awful blindfold she looked in Ava's direction "Nice to see some kids that care for our health unlike the adults" she said to Ava as a young boy walked towards Liv he put out his hand to pet her she let him pet her "sucks to see such a tall beauty in a place like this" he whispered into Liv's ear she looked at the boy he was familer to her "Ramoz get away from that mare she will kick you none of them are nice especially that breton stallion" a lady said to the boy she nickered and nudged the boy what was he doing here insted of back in Manitoba helping Storm she thought as he started to step away from her stall "Mom I know this mare it's Liv from the stable I used to work at" Ramos said to his mom his mother came towards Liv "I remeber you ..your the mare that protected my son from some bad kids" she said
Drift
Drift would stamp his hoof he was terribly hungry and the grass he had avalible was to short to graze on he was miserable he didn't even feel like trying to escape all of his energy was now being spent on keeping him alive "hey you there why so down aren't you a proud and noble stallion" said the huge dog to Drift he was confused as why the dog was being so nice to him insted of snapping and growling at him "I tried to kick the humans when I wanted to escape and then they left me here with very little water" he said in a strange french accent
Gale
Gale would listen for anyone she was shocked to see Lucinda enter the stables "Oh hey Ella and Ramoz you guys are all wanting these guys free too huh?" Lucinda said to both the boy and the girl she came over towards Gale and petted her "I wish I could help you escape girl these people are terrible horse theives all they care about is selling stolen horses" Lucinda said to Gale as she filled her feed and water bucket "I must go now girl try and behave we will find a way to free you all" Lucinda said before walking out of the stable looking as sad as she was when she first saw Gale

Ella looked to Ramos. "We need to get them out of here somehow. But the problem is, I don't know who these other horses belong to. My Daddy never took me along to pick the horses up he stole. I was always told to stay here with the other adults and wait for further instruction. Or to just stay out of the way. Daddy never told me these horses were stolen. Daddy was talking to someone on the phone when he said he had taken the horses they were stealing and transporting them here." She sighed. "I better go help that stallion outside. He is gonna need more water. And some food." With that, Ella grabbed her bucket before giving Ava another scoop of food. She closed the door to the stall. "Can you keep an eye out for me? I don't want Daddy to see me taking care of the horses." Heading outside, Ella found a small container to put some feed in for the Breton stallion to eat. She then walked over to the well and pulled up some water. It took her a few moments to drag the heavy bucket over to the stallion. "Here you go. I can't believe they would leave you out here with hardly any water. It's been so hot out, especially at night." She even gave the dog a pat and some water before brushing some sweat off her forehead. "Be good. I will come early and give you guys some food before Daddy and the others get here."
Ava looked at Liv. "She reminds me so much of my human. Her hands are soft and they have so much love to give." Ava took a drink of some of the water that was left for her and a bite of food. "If anyone can get us out, it may be them. But how will we get back to our homes?" Ava asked not even knowing where she was. "Where are we? Are we not in Texas?"

The mare called to the girl. She says her feed and shook her mane free of the dirt. She nuzzled her colt and looked at the men who came back. She was taken to a small pen and left there. "She will be fine, go get the others, the auction starts soon." A man said and grabbed a bunch of stallion haters and attempted to catch the others.

"I think were in a foriegn country" she said to Ava as Ramoz and his mom Hannah started to leave she neighed in desperation as Hannah and Ramoz left her all alone "Wait come back" she said before a mean looking man entered her stall and roughly put a halter on her as he entered her stall she tried to break free once he had her lead rope in his hands but he was much stonger he pulled out a whip "Behave missie or else I will hit you with it" he said as he forcefully started to lead Liv out of the stable "I am not going with you no matter what you do" she said before reaching out and biting his shoulder he screamed out in pain and dropped the lead rope she wanted to bolt but something told her to wait which she did "Come on girl follow me" the boy Ramoz said he gently grabbed her lead rope "We will help the others too Liv don't you worry girl" he said
Drift
Drift would drink the water and eat the food gracious someone took pity on him what was going on why were man coming towards him he thought a man untied him and roughly handled him he forced him towards a trailer it was silver in colour he would rear up and fight the man he eventually let go of Drift's lead rope and the stallion galloped towards the big black shire "Don't hurt that boy Drift I will hurt you if you lay a hoof or tooth on him" she warned him as a boy grabbed a brush and started to brush out the Shire mare
Gale
Gale would neigh a greeting to Lucinda "Sh. girl I'm here to free you" Lucinda said as she put Gale's halter on along with the lead rope it was tempting to ride the percheron bareback but Lucinda knew riding her would be risky so she just lead the percheron out of the stable and towards a dark skinned boy she knew as Ramoz "That's three where are the drum horse and the Clydesdale with her foal" Lucinda said to Ramoz they were just waiting for Ella

Ella had hidden up in the rafters of the barn when she heard someone coming into the barn. She knew that if one of the men saw her, they would indeed tell her father that she was near the horses. This was her hiding spot now that she knew what her father was really doing. She gasped the moment she heard that the sale would be starting soon. She had to just get the horses out somehow. Luckily there was a hole in the roof where she could hop down quickly to grab the horses. She watched as one of the men grabbed the drum horse out of her stall and started leading her towards a trailer. She waited for the man to get into the right position and then hopped down onto the horse's back. The drum horse suddenly reared with a scream just as she planned would happen. The man then jumped back, but was thrown into a stall when the mare swung around and kicked the man. Ella grabbed the lead rope that was attached the the mare's halter and galloped towards the stall with the Clydesdale with the foal. She swung the stall door open and grabbed the lead rope of both the foal and the mare before hopping back onto the drum horse. With everything clear, she headed for the open door and galloped outside. "Come on guys! Let's get them out of here!" Ella yelled to the others.

The mare sound on her heels and galloped after her foal right behind her. She tossed her head, keeping pace as the men screamed for the others and started taking more horses into the pens quickly.

Ramoz would grab a brush and start to groom Liv the boy's mom Hannah tried to calm down Drift "were all safe now but for how long" she said as she looked at the far side of the stable if the men were looking for them she would protect the kids and Hannah if the men came this way she was taller then the others and had a longer reach with her kicks "Easy Liv I know your scared so am I but were going to get through this we all will" Ramoz said to the big shire mare trying to calm her down
Drift
Drift would look at Hannah she didn't seem mean if Liv said she trusted the boy surely he could trust his mother he gently nudged Hannah showing her that he trusted her "hey big fella so your a breton huh? haven't seen to many of you" Hannah said to Drift as she pet him she held his lead rope gently but firm "these poor horses stolen from there owners, tell you what once we leave this place I know of a man with a stable for the horses. Then we can figure out how to reach your owners" Hannah said to the children "Help me load them onto the big trailer" she said as she lead Drift onto a big horse trailer with plenty of space and was tall enough for Liv not to bang her head
Gale
Lucinda would grab Gale's lead rope and start to load her on the trailer "It's okay girl we will get through this togather" Lucinda said to the big percheron mare as she put her in a seprate section from Drift she moved Gale over to far left so the drum horse could be loaded beside her she securely tied Gale to the trailer and walked out so Ella could load the drum horse

The shire mare trotted up into the trailer calmly, her foal at her side. Her ears pricked as she listened she heard calm words and additudes.

Liv would shake her head and mane she was nervous but she knew Ramoz would help her and the others Ramoz held Liv's leadrope with a gentle but firm grip he reached up and pet Liv's nose she was tall so he had to reach up on his tippy toes "It will be okay girl I will make sure nothing ever happens to you again" Ramoz said to Liv she nudged him with her big nose he laughed as he waited for Ella he could read Liv's nervousness and tried to calm her the best he could by walking her in a circle
