"Will do," Austin announced as he headed to his office. After a few hours, Austin came downstairs after getting off the phone with Taffy's owner. "Well, that was a waste of time. Taffy's owner said she was not aware of any injuries to her when she was bought. I guess we are back at square 1," Austin sighed as he sat down in the seat as Aidan and Molly came through the door.
"Oh, good. You're dressed. I was worried we would be walking in on something we shouldn't," Aidan announced with a sigh.

"great" Chloe said. "Thanks for trying anyway, babe" Chloe said "does her Darn owner want us to keep that horse?" Chloe asked, as she gave Lia another bowl of cheerios. When Aidan and Molly walked in, Chloe looked over at them. "now is not the time. Apprently Taffy's owner didn't know anything about her injury." Chloe said. Molly just scoffed and rolled her eyes

"She was telling me she got her from a rescue as a foal. So she thinks that maybe the injury was sustained as a foal when she was with her original owner. So, I guess we are at a dead end here. We may never know. She also said that we can keep her here for now," Austin explained.
"Darn. She must have had a hard life growing up," Aidan announced.
"Horses when they are young need to be taken care of. If a horse as a foal does not get the care they need and they break a bone that is never taken care of, it can affect them their entire lives," Austin said.

Chloe sighed. "of course she wants us to keep that horse" Chloe said, as she gave Lia some apple juice. "we have foals on the way, and need the stall space...how on earth are we supposed to keep her?" Chloe asked

"We have that other barn, remember? There are no horses in there right now. We can put her in there," Austin pointed out. He then got up to make some coffee. "I am also building some new pastures for the horses. We have two horses that are being transported to new homes this week," Austin announced, remember the sale of two horses bought last week.

"Thats the quarantine barn and last I checked...there was nothing wrong with that pony" Chloe said as she finally nodded. "yea thats true, ok I suppose we should be ok then" She said, as she rubbed Ellie behind the ears.

"yea" Chloe said. "Rocket, Apple Cider, and Storm Cloud leave this week" Chloe said, as she went to the fridge and got herself a piece of pizza. She sat down beside Austin and started eating. "we have leftover pizza for dinner" Chloe added as she took another bite of pizza

"I'm not hungry right now," Austin announced as he took a drink of his coffee. He then stood up and walked over to the fridge and looked at the calendar. "Aidan, we are working together for a flight to New York in two days from LA. You leave a day ahead of me."
"Oh, shoot. I forgot about that. Thank you for reminding me. I need to get things together tonight, then," Aidan said as he walked up to the calendar as well, looking at the flights that they were both scheduled to fly that month.

"Watch your mouth in front of my daughter" Chloe said sternly as she knew Lia could pick up on dirty words and start to say them. "I forgot that you guys are leaving in a few days" Chloe said with a little sigh. She took another bite of her pizza and continued to eat, as she watched Lia, accidentally drop her cheerios onto the floor. "oh Lia" Chloe said, as she leaned down to pick it up

"Sorry, I am still getting used to having a kid in the house," Aidan said. He looked at the calendar again. "We are also working the New York to Sydney run as well."
"That I am excited for. I have not been to Sydney in a while. We have a 3 day layover there. Might as well bring back some of those candies Lily likes when I go to Sydney. I will have to look for something for Lia as well," Austin said as he smiled.

"Australia?" Molly asked. "I've always wanted to go to Australia" She said, with a smile. "but I never had the chance" with a sigh she to got up and went to the fridge to get some pizza as well. She sat down beside Aidan and took a bite of her pizza. She lay her head on his shoulder as they all talked

"it's a very long flight, though," Aidan announced. "From New York to Sydney is is about 22 hours. But maybe we can all go one day," Aidan announced as he wrapped an arm around Molly.

"Maybe when Lia is older" Chloe said. "I don't know how she is on a plane and I don't think I want to deal with a crying baby for 22 hours" Chloe said, as she looked over at Austin. When Lia finished eating, she looked over and said. "ni-ni" she was tired now, yawing she reached for Austin. "dada, ni-ni" Lia siad

"Well, it looks like someone is ready for a nap. He picked up Lia and headed upstairs so that she could be put down for a nap. He turned on the sound machine and shut her door.
