Chloe smiled when Austin headed upstairs with Lia. Chloe turned on the sound machine just as he was putting her down in her crib. When he was making his way back downstairs, Chloe decided to put a fire on in the fire place. She put some good logs into it and then lit a match, getting a fire going before heading back into the kitche

Austin decided to grab a shirt from the living room since that was where he put his shirt. Sitting down on the couch, Austin looked at the fire as he watched the flames dance in the fireplace.

Chloe followed Austin into the living room and sat down on the couch beside him, she turned the movie back on and grabbed a blanket, pulling it over her legs as she shivered a little. "is the heat on babe?" Chloe asked. "its freezing in here" she said, as she pulled the blanket over herself more. "Mols, can you make sure Lia is warm enough?" Chloe asked.
"yea, sure" Molly said, heading upstairs to check on Lia.

"I feel fine," Aidan announced as he got up to check the thermostat. "Looks like it got changed a little. Let me just turn it up." Aidan put the heat up a few degrees as he then sat down.
"I am a little cold. But I think I should be fine. Thanks, Aidan for checking that.," Austin said as he got up to put a few more logs on the fire.

"thanks Aidan" Chloe said. "I get cold really easily." Chloe said, Molly looked over at Chloe. "ya think?" Molly said. "at our old place, you had the heat on at 73 every winter" She said to Chloe, laughing. Chloe looked down embarrassed, then she looked over at Austin. "I swore I set the thermostat to 73...Aidan what was it at?" she asked. Molly rolled her eyes. "Chloe, it doesn't need to be that warm girl." she says. "My mom always keeps her house at 73, im just used to it by now" Chloe said.
(what if Aidan says something about Chloe's dad?)

"It was set at 67," Aidan says as he looks at the mantle noticing a candle on it. The first one Aidan was for Austin's parents. But the second one he was not sure who it was for. But he noticed the pilot's uniform the man was wearing. "Who is this?"

"67??" Chloe gasped. "who changed the temperature?" Chloe asked, when Aidan mentioned the picture of her father, Chloe looked up. "oh...thats my father" Chloe said. "He passed away a few months after Austin and I started dating...so no he wasn't here for our wedding, and no he never met Lia" Chloe said, as she suddenly felt sad, and scooted closer to Austin, as she needed him at that mometnt

"I see he was a pilot as well. Kind of wish I got to meet him. Looks like a nice guy," Aidan announced as he looked at the photo for a few minutes longer. He then checked the thermostat to make sure it was at the right temp before heading to the couch so that they could watch the movie.

Chloe smiled. "he was" she said, Molly nodded in agreement. "he was the best, always let me sleep over whenever I wanted, and when your mom said it was ok" Molly added, laughing as she looked over at Chloe. Chloe smiled at all the memories of her father and hit play on the movie once more as she put Austin's arm around her and pulled the blanket up to her chin.

aUst smiled as Chloe wrapped his arm around her. He knew that everything was going to be okay. But he was a little worried about how things would be with both him and Aidan gone for a few days.

Chloe looked up at Austin and smiled. "what time do you need to leave tomorrow?" Chloe asked, hoping it wasn't to early as she hated waking up to Austin not sleeping beside her. Chloe patted the couch and Ellie jumped, resting her head on Chloe's leg, heaving a sigh as Luna jumped up behind her and snuggled up behind her near Aidan

Luna groaned as she laid her head on Aidan's lap, falling asleep as she closed her eyes. Aidan placed a hand behind her ear as he rubbed it a little fit.

"babe" Chloe said, looking at Austin. "what time do you need to leave tomorrow?" Chloe asked Austin again, as it seemed like he didn't hear her question the first time. "will you be able to give Lia breakfast in the morning?" She asked. "speaking of Lia, we should get her up soon, she won't sleep through the night if we let her sleep for another hour or so" Chloe said, as she watched Sunlight jump onto the couch purring as she lay down in Molly's lap

"Aidan lowave tomorrow morning at about 8 and I leave the day after at about 7am," Austin answered as he had to take a moment to think about what time they were leaving.

"ok, so you and I can take Lia to the playground together" she said, smiling as she remembered Lia on the swing. "the swing set is her absolute favorite" Chloe said, as she rubbed Ellie behind the ear.
