"I know James will always let her come to the ranch, not exactly sure about my sister in-law Ally." Chloe said as she finished up her pizza. She glanced at the time on the microwave. 8:30. "I'm really tired." She said. "I'm gonna head upstairs and get some sleep." Chloe said. "Night Mols." Chloe said. "Night Clo" Molly said. Chloe kissed Austin's cheek before she left. "stop by my room before you head to bed." she whispered. Molly pretended like she didn't hear anything and continued eating her pizza.

Austin looked at the time on his watch. "I should call some of my buddies. They wanted me to let them know when I was out of the hospital,' Austin announced as he finished his last slice. Heading upstairs to the guest bedroom, he hopped onto his laptop where he got into a FaceTime message with Kelley and Jake, letting them know that he was out of the hospital and staying with Chloe for a few days until he could get back to the ranch. After talking to Kelley and Jake, he called his sister to tell her what he needed her to bring him tomorrow or whenever she could. It was about 10 when Austin walked over to Chloe's room. "Chloe, you still awake?" he asked from the door.

Around 9:30 Chloe turned on the tv in her room and went to Netflix to watch Heartland. She sat on the floor of her room with a dog toy in her hand, shaking it around, playing with Ellie. She was about to finish the episode when she herd Austin at her door. She smiled and paused the tv, standing up and walking over to her door, she opened it. "hey" she said, smiling. "so, when am I moving into your place?" she asked. "You can come in" she opened the door wide enough so he could come in. "I was just watching Heartland and playing with Ellie." Ellie jumped up and put her front paws on Austin's legs. "I think she wants you to hold her." Chloe said

Walking into her room, Austin looked at Chloe. "I think she would be too heavy for me to hold since my arm and all," Austin said as he gestured to his right arm. He then sat down on her bed. "Well, as soon as I can get back to the ranch, you are welcome to both move in. It might be another week since I have to wait to be cleared to get back working on the ranch and flying. I have a feeling the doctor is going to want to hold off on me doing ranch work for another month. But I think I might be cleared for flying sooner." He was excited about being able to get back in the left seat of an aircraft. He did have to order some new shirts and pants before he got back to work. Which he would do before going to bed that night.

"You still want to fly?" Chloe asked, slightly surprised. "after everything that happened?" Chloe knew he would, but she didn't think it would be this soon. She always wondered how her mom did it. Chloe yawned slightly and her eyes grew heavy. "I think I'm gonna head to bed now." she said drowsily. She walked over to her bed and sat down beside Austin, leaning forward to kiss him. "good night." she whispered. "I love you." When he left, Chloe finished the last 5 mins in her episode and she got cozy with Ellie beside her, turning off her light she soon fell asleep

It was not that he wanted to fly again. He NEEDED to fly again. It was like a drug to him. Just one crash was not going to keep him out of the cockpit. In the past 50 years, aviation had become much safer as planes began getting new technology. Austin kissed her before heading out of the room and over to his room where he changed into a pair of light grey pj bottoms. He decided not to wear a shirt since it would be easier on his shoulder as he slept. He pulled the blankets over him and fell asleep.

Chloe tossed and turned all night and when she finally got to sleep, it was like 1 am. Around 10:30, Ellie left the room. She could tell time because she could read letters. She went over to Molly's door and started scratching at it, she knew Molly was usually in her room at that time getting ready for the day. Molly herd scratching at her door when she was getting dressed. She walked over to it and opened it. "hi Ellie" she said. "whats up?" Ellie barked. Molly looked at her confused. Then she understood. Chloe wasn't up yet, which wasn't like her; "alright, i'm coming" she said

Austin had woken up early in the morning and started a pot of coffee after he put on a black a dark grey Boeing 737 shirt and quietly walked down stairs to the kitchen. Once he had a warm cup of coffee, he sat down at the table and scrolled through his phone. He was not sure what to do as he was used to used to already being ready to do something on the ranch. It did feel awkward not doing anything. But he was limited on what he could do thanks to his arm. So, he sat back in the chair at the kitchen table and continued to scroll through his phone.

Molly knocked on Chloe's door. "what?" Chloe groaned. "Are you ok?" she asked. "its ten thirty" Molly said. "No" Chloe said. Molly opened the door and went inside. "whats up?" she asked. "I tossed and turned all night." Chloe said, sitting up. "I didn't fall asleep until like 1." she said, yawning. "Mine as well get up and start the day." She said, getting out of bed. She walked downstairs, grabbed some toast, and went to the couch, turned on the tv, ate her toast, and then fell back to sleep. "don't ask" Molly said to Austin. "she apprently didn't sleep much last night." Molly said, shrugging

"Sounds like me when I have a red-eye flight," Austin announced. He took a sip of his coffee before walking over to the couch. He found a coaster and placed the coffee cup on top of it before sitting down on the couch. He brought over a blanket and placed it over Chloe in case she got cold. "I wonder what could have kept her up all night? I was in bed by 11:30 last night." He thought it might have something to do with loosing her father. But if not, maybe it was just stress.

Molly shrugged. "I don't know" she said, glancing at the time. "I have to get to work, I work at my ranch during the week. Will you be ok?" she asked Austin. "Oh, before I go, you should try talking to her, I mean you're her boyfriend, maybe she'll talk to you" Molly said as she grabbed her bag. She opened the back door to let Ellie outside before she left then she said bye and left. Chloe gazed up at her boyfriend, the blanket was warm, she put her back against his shoulder, and she slowly fell asleep

Austin leaned back on the couch as he pulled Chloe with him so that her head was on his shoulder. He wrapped the blanket around both of them as he wrapped his good arm around her. "Clo, I want to know why you were not able to sleep last night. It worries me," Austin whispered. He had laid so that his right shoulder was slightly off the couch. "Is something wrong?"

Chloe woke up slightly. "I was just thinking about my dad." she said sleepily, as a tv show played in the background. She yawned. "thats it" She said. "I promise, I was just thinking about my dad" She closed her eyes again, and said. "Can I take a nap?" she didn't hear his answer as she had fallen asleep. When she woke up, she felt refreshed. "I can't wait to move in with you." she said, smiling.

Austin felt Chloe move as she started to wake up. It was about noon. He had managed to catch up on a few emails on his phone, even though he had to use one hand to type. One was to his boss saying that he had an appointment this week to see if he was ready to get back in the cockpit. And the other was to another airline that was offering him a position within their airline as a Capitan. He had sadly declined as it was only for domestic flights. Though, if he did take it, then he would be home more often. But he loved working for United Airlines. He loved to travel the world to see things that were not available in America. It was fun. But, he would take time to think about it. "Did you have a good sleep?" Austin asked as he looked down at her.

Chloe nodded. "what do you say we go out to lunch?" she suggested. "or...we can do something here if that would be easier" Chloe said. "I'm down for whatever." then, she sat up. "has Ellie come inside yet?" she got up off the couch and went to the back door. She found Ellie laying in the sun on the grass sleeping. "Ellie" Chloe called. She whistled and Ellie picked her head up, trotting back inside with her ears pricked. "want a treat?" she asked. Ellie's tail wagged and Chloe pulled out a treat, giving it to her. She lay down on her bed and began munching on it
