Magpie finally settled down, locking her joints and dozing off.

Rose fell asleep and managed to sleep the whole night.

Magpie woke up earlier than normal the next morning, stretching and moving to her water bucket before glancing over to see if her sister had awoken.

Rose was still alseep before waking up when she heard the barn door open.

Rose woke up and saw the owner preparing their feed.

Magpie awoke a few moments later, shaking herself and moving to the front of her stall as she heard the food bucket clattering. Her ears pricked and she shifted as she waited, finally letting loose an impatient whinny.

"ooo Feed time" Rose said looking at the owner who brought over there food to there stalls. Rose backed away and waited for the owner to open her food and put it inside her stall before eating.

Magpie snorted impatiently and pawed the front of her stall dramatically, the door rattling. The owner gave her a side look and continued feeding Rose before moving to her stall "Back up girl, no point in making a fuss" he said sternly. She tossed her head and reluctantly took a few steps back so he could get in, but couldn't help pawing the ground as the bucket got hung on the wall. Immediately she dove her head in and began eating, her tail beginning to swish satisfiedly.

Rose just looked at her sister, her sister was always fussy when it was feeding time. " You act like you haven't been fed in 2 weeks" Rose said jokingly. Rose took her time to eat her food like always.

Magpie snorted again and looked up "Well it feels pretty much like that" she said with a self pitying toss of her mane before diving back in. In no time she was done, and moved to the front of her stall after drinking some water, beginning to paw the ground again. "Do you think anything will happen today? Anythign of interest I mean" she asked boredly, glancing over at her slow eating sister.
(we need to roll the plot along lol)

Rose finished her meal around 10 minutes after her sister. before replying to her sister. "I heard someone is coming today, The Owner never said a name though. But I hope it's not lessons" She said before drinking some water.

Magpie shifted her mane, turning to bite at an impudent horsefly before pricking her ears at her sisters words. "You hope not? You're the one who doesn't have to do anything, I'd be the one having to give the lesson!" she snorted emphatically. "you'll probably just get turned out to the pasture if there is someone coming to ride me" she added with another self pitying whinny.

Rose looked at her sister. "I still get lead around, and I am in the pastures with you or when you have a lesson" Rose said shaking her mane. "Besides its Monday no body really rides us on Mondays, If I had to take a guess its probably the farrier or someone interested in a horse" rose said before laying down and rolling In her stall.

Magpie shrugged "Well that's true" she admitted, shaking herself out then looking over with interest at her sister as she rolled, snorting at the action, considering doing it, then deciding instead to lick the edge of her stall, which had some remaining bits of food from earlier on it. Besides, it was just fun to do.
