Appearance:

Personality: Strong and Proud, Alistra is quite the Araedi. She's as reckless as her mother, as swift as her mentor, and prefers to act before thinking. If there's any chance for adventure, she'll take it. Whether it be racing a flash flood, or attacking a wild boar, everything's considered a life experience for her. She is both the pride and bane of her mentor, who despairs of her carefree attitude, but joys in her speed and strength.

Backstory (optional): Alistra was born in Clan Araedi, although her father was from Clan Styrkr. As a young pup she was often left with the Kihirda, as her mother and father were frequently called upon to perform missions, and report to the Clan Alpha. Although they were occupied, they made sure that whenever they were back, they spent as much time with her as possible, telling her of the things they'd seen, but always leaving out any mention of the impending war. But she was not oblivious to it. As she grew, she began to hear the tales of old, and they fascinated her.  Of Dryads and Dreki, which were common enough, but mostly, of the past battles. Her father began telling her tales of the hunts he'd taken part in, the way they moved as one in the multiple hunting patterns, and Her mother would share stories of thrilling stunts and reckless deeds of courage.

Once she was a year, she was allowed to accompany her father and mother on regular patrols, learning how to track the deer, and prevent wildfires set by excited swarms of Dreki. And the more she grew, the more apparent the tension between them and the elves was. Her Father was constantly warning her of the elves dangers, and to hide as soon as she saw one... but after he told her these, her mother would take her aside and teach her their weaknesses. And so Alistra grew, her body catching up to her long legs and large paws, her fur filling out long and soft. 

At the age of 2 she took part in her first apprentice ceremony, where one of the clan would choose her to be their apprentice. She had little say in what the job was, but she didn't need to. From a pups first year, the future mentors began shadowing the pups, often having quiet conferences in the late evening to discuss certain traits seen, or not seen. As it was, she was chosen by an older, battleworn she-wolf, by the name of Vaskra. The warrioress had seen many battles in her time, and had mentored quite a few prominent warriors. In Alistra, she saw the necessary traits, and so the young wolf's true training began. Day by day she grew stronger, swifter, bolder. Her parents during this time were less and less seen, sent out on missions by the High Alpha himself, but she remembered all they had taught her when she was young. Vaskra pressed her hard to be the best she could be, and although at night her weary paws ached, her heart would still be pounding with adrenaline. Simple puphood games were turned into reckless races, and more than once she found herself in, what she considered, true danger, while her mentor looked on, apparently without feeling. Vaskra certainly did care, but she knew all too well that the best lessons were learned independently, and so she held her tongue and let the young she-wolf run as she willed, to an extent. 

Now, after six months of training, Alistra has grown remarkably, both physically and mentally, the pride of her parents and her Mentor. But little does she know where this pride will get her.

Appearance:

Personality: Enilair was not as tall or strong as most wolves but that would not daunt him. He was smart and quick witted like his mother, Lanaria, and inherited the iron determination of his father, Esoom. Enilair was taught from a very young age to be careful and think ahead, having had to learn the hard way from several of his larger, stronger, peers. 

Backstory: Because his parents were often away on perilous missions for the alpha, Enilair was raised by his godfather and mentor Greynan. The young wolf learned all his skills in strategy and scouting from him and thought of the old wolf as a second father. Because of his small stature Enilair was often teased by the other young wolves and excluded from their games and revelries, but soon they learned that small in hight does not mean small in intellect. Now almost reaching full maturity, he was still small, but had gained the respect and trust of the other wolves in Visdomr.
