At the beach, the man for himself attitude was dropped and the boys took on a "every man not for himself" attitude. Kastron observed the two red marks on Eldor's arm. "I'm quite sure 'tis deadly.", he said, sounding as professional as possible.

Eldor's already pale face grew visibly whiter, ''is there a cure,'' he asked.

"Of course.", said Kastron, scratching his head. "I'm pretty sure there is..."

Eldor remained silent but his breathing definatly quickened, ''that being,'' he asked unable to hold down his curiosity.

"Rum!", announced Kastron proudly, producing a mostly empty bottle from his pocket. (It was noticably emptier than it had been that morning)

Eldor eyed it with suspicion but as he most definatly did not want to die of a jellyfish bite he decided to wait and see what would happen.

Kaston merrily uncorked the bottle and poured what was left of its contents onto Eldor's arm where the jellyfish had stung him.

"Mutton head yourself, that's what its SUPOSED to do!", Kastron shouted back, standing up on the sand but losing his balance and falling down again. What in the world of Aunt Pessilyses detestable soup is this? he asked himself. I can't even stand properly on this sticky sand.

“It’d better be,” Eldor muttered pressing hot sand against his arm. At Kastron’s inability to stand, Eldor laughed outright, “well now and that’s what I call poetic justice!”

Kastron pulled himself onto his feet. "What's that supposed to mean?", he asked, trying to hide that he was having a hard time standing, and failing miserably.

“Well it’s when something satisfactory happens that is supposed to happen and should happen that is,” answered Eldor proud of how clear his definition was.

Kastron looked at him strangely. "Not one word of what you just said made sense mate.", he said walking a few steps. He was used to the floor swaying this way and that twenty-four seven, and now that the ground was completely solid, he was losing his balance.

“Yo be expected I suppose,” Eldor sighed, “getting the walking thing yet,” he asked watching Kastron stumble about.

"I got it.", said Kastron, trying to walk in a straight line. "Ye'd think that a floor that doesn't go nowhere would be much easier to walk on." He stumbled up the bank. "aight' then,", he said, proud that he had reached the top by one way or another. "Let's go see what this whole land thing is about.
