Eldor looked around a bit, he picked up a soggy piece of decomposing rope and threw it into the pot, ''do you have any of those wood larva?''

Kastron thought a moment. "I s'pose there is some in the room where father keeps his rum. I'll go have a look." And with that, he was off.

When Kastron ran off Eldor took up the stirring spin and proceed to use it with the utmost dexterity.

Kastron hastily checked for wood larva under the kegs and barrels, and was not disappointed. He found a couple fat ones, and quickly ran into the kitchen, disposing of them in the pot, then licking his fingers. As an added bonus, he emptied half a bottle of rum into the soup.

''I think we are about ready. Where is your dinner bell?'' Eldor asked.

Kastron stared at him. "We used to have one, but Aunt cooked it once on accident and it never sounded the same. I'll just go and yell out." And he was gone again.

Eldor decided he did not want to be in the way of a rush of hungry sailors, so, wisely, he stepped out of the galley and awaited the unfortunate mob.

The men were hungry, and stampeded in like a pack of rhinos. Some of them stopped short when they reached the galley entrance, sensing that something was wrong. One of them smelled the air, then walked in, the others followed. Gerenway walked over to the soup and stuck his finger.

Eldor peeked in through the doorway to see what would happen when the guy stuck his finger into his mouth.

Gerenway scrunched up his face into a grimace that looked worse than a dead sea cucumber. "By the great eater of men itself!", he cried, "WHAT PIG WASTE IS THIS?" Kastron stepped up. "Not pig waste, you ignorant plank. SHEEP waste!"

Suddenly Emmalinda walked in leading her sheep behind her, ''so what's for dinner?'' she asked, using her fat duck voice.

Kastron looked at Emmalinda strangely. "Well, Lindy darling, its the beat food that's ever been on these here seas. Right?", he asked the crewmen, and did a throat cutting expression at them. All the men, who also weren't such a big fan of it, nodded. "It's the best ever!", exclaimed Weedsworth. Kastron smiled at the men, then nodded at Emmalinda. "In fact,", he said, glancing at Eldor, who was still behind the doorway, "It's Eldors favorite food. He eats it on land all the time. The men already ate.'", he added as an after thought.

When Emmalinda looked back at him for confirmation he quickly nodded, it was true all the things that were in the soup could be found on land, ''try some,'' he said encouragingly, giving her a roughish smile.

Emmalinda gave him a donkey smile (which she thought looked pleasing) and sat down with a plate of the soup. She took a spoon and dug in.

Eldor slid over to where she was sitting flashing her another flashy smile, ''yer going to love it,'' he said watching closely as she lifted the spoon to her mouth.
