Eldor raised an eyebrow, ''rather harsh on the young creature, don't you think, Kasy,'' Eldor asked, being sure to emphasize on the last word. Suddenly from below the deck came a very loud yell, ''KASTRON SAILNET EDGEWOOD,'' the yell was soon followed by its owner, and a rather plump lady appeared brandishing an oar, and looking about wildly for the boy.

The instant Kastrons fat aunt waddled onto the deck, Kastron scrammed across the deck, ran past a bunch of deck hands, and pretty much srcaped up his legs climbing up a mast, where he hid in a sail that was partially rolled up. His aunt ran across the deck a few times muttering to herself very audibly. "That doggone boy! Always causin' a ruckus." Even louder she added," KASTRON WHEN I FIND YOU I'LL USE YOUR SHRIMP OF A HIDE TO GRIND UP FOR TOMORROWS BISCUITS, YE THIEVEN' SCAT." and with that, she headed back where she came from.

Eldor smiled to himself, maybe the boy wasn't so dimwitted as he thought. With a last look out to see, he retreated back to his cabin, while the angry aunt still ran around on the deck looking for the skirmish.

After Kastron's Aunt Pessilys had made her way back below deck, Kastron jumped out of the sail he had been hiding in. Although he didn't really let on, he was still pretty stung by Eldor's remarks, and when he noticed that the taller boy was starting on his way below deck he decided to test his nerves a little bit. He didn't really have to hurry down, for Eldor was pretty slow on his feet on account of the rough water. "He said he's been on the ocean", thought Kastron to himself. "Let's see how much contact, he's had with the glorius drink." So he slipped below deck, and ran to the small room where his father kept all the bottles and kegs filled with " the glorius drink". After having found a container with the size of his liking (which wasn't too big since he himself held a particular enjoyment of it), he settled down on one of the rafters a small way past the stairs and waited for his prey.

Eldor walked very carefully done the stairs, ''when am I going to get these things the locals call 'sea legs'' ' he muttered to himself. reaching the bottom he continued going down the passageway.

He made it down the passage way, but he certainly didn't make it down the passageway dry. when he passed under one of the rafters he felt a strange feeling liquid running down him. he looked up in confusion. Kastron was delighted in the success of his prank, and looked Eldor straight in the eye. Pouring rum on Eldor was the funnest thing he had done in months. "At least ye can drink it", was what he said when Eldor looked at him with fury in his eyes. Who knows what would have happened, had not Aunt Pessilys came down the passage way at that precise moment. Kastron realized with despair that by the time he got off the rafter and up the stairs past Eldor, who had a good idea of what was going on, his aunt would have seen him. And so, with a quick move, he slid off the rafter and dashed to the corner, where a bucket of water and a mop were standing. He dumped the bucket's contents across the floor and started mopping the floors as if his life depended on it (which it kind of did), obviusly forgetting that he was supposed to wash the floor ABOVE deck. "AH Kastron, I've been looking all over for ye. How nice to find ye both together. I've been thinking that your darling sister is old enough to have her own cabin now, so I came to tell ye that ye two'l be shari'n a cabin, by the way you missed a spot." Aunt Pessilys was quite out of breath by the time she had finished wrapping up that monstrosity of a sentence. And with that she waddled off.

Eldor tried to keep the shocked look out of his expression, what an outrage he did not pay to get on an overpriced ship only to have to share a cabin. He eyed Kastron challengingly before sprinting off down the passage in the direction of his room.

Kastron saw the little gleam in Eldor's eye, and sprinted after him. Eldor had a head start, but Kastron, though smaller, was pretty fast. That added to the fact that Eldor wasn't exactly fast on a ship caused the two boys to reach the cabin at the same time. They both stopped and stared each other in the eye, neither of them moving.

''Well,'' Eldor said, ''I'm the more important and dignified of the both of us, plus I paid to come on this old tub, so I get the bed,'' he stood tall but staggered suddenly when ship unceremoniously lurched.

"HA! BY THE KRAKEN"S SLIME MATE! Ye can barely stand on yer own two legs 'thout fallin flat on yer pale face!" Kastron was almost laughing.

That's it, Eldor thought reaching toward his belongings he pulled out his sword, it was slim but double edged and made from pure iron. Gripping it expertly he took up a fighting stance before the boy. Shouldn't be too hard to scare this young upstart.

Kastron noticed Eldors move towards his bundle, and thought he had a fair idea of what was happening. He pulled out his saber from where it was thrust in his stash. "If this jellylegs wants to fight, then so be it, but I won't be the one to throw his body overboard, thats for sure", he thought as he eyed Eldor. Although probably not much older, he was noticeably taller than Kastron, however, he had one major setback and that was his inability to stand properly, and Kastron planned on using that setback for his benefit. This was probably going to be easy.

Eldor laughed scornfully when he saw Kastron draw his saber and made testing swipe at him.

Eldor swung at Kastron, but missed as a large wave struck the boat, catching him off balance. Kastron the advanced, going for Eldor's leg. He had a chance at hitting it, when the floor moved the other way, throwing him on top of Eldor instead. They both hurriedly got up, and Eldor ran out the doorway and up the stairs, Kastron hot at his heels. As soon as Eldor reached the top of the stairs, he proceded to boot Kastron, who was right behind him, down. "How'dye like that- lobster breath!", he shouted down. No reply of any kind was heard. Eldor was beginning to wonder if the boy was down already. After all, he had thrown him down the stairs pretty hard. He peered down the stair case, realizing to late that a certain bucket he had seen before was flying towards him at alarming pace. Before he knew it, he was on his back, with the bucket standing on top of him.

After regaining his breath, he threw the bucket off of him and jumped back onto his feet. It was then he realized that he was soaking wet, the storm was finally upon them and caused the deck to begin pitching terribly. ''Just my luck,'' muttered Eldor staggering crazily, he was having a rather difficult time seeing as well, for the wind had picked up drastically and was blowing his wet hair into his face.
