Eldor merely shook his head, he knew he'd get them back in the morning. ''How's that cousin of yours been doing?''

Kastron, relenting, chucked the boot back aiming for Eldor's head, but missing. "He's been trouble. He fed the new map to muttonbutt today.", he said with a sigh. "It seems we lose every map we get. Anyhow, he managed to spurt a leak in the ship, which was repaired, and he cut some holes in some of the sails so that the wind could pass threw more easily."

Eldor couldn't help but laugh, even he, who had never really been out to sea before, knew not to do such foolishness. ''Why is he a sailor?''

"Because hes too stupid to be anything else. And he doesnt want to be away from us, anyhow. If I were him,", Kastron kicked the wall, "I'd go run off far away and have an adventure.", he turned onto his stomach. "Maybe turn to piracy.", he said, his eyes lighting up.

Kastron started laughing too. "I agree he would be terrible and dreaded, but whenever someone would sight his ship, theyd leave just so they would have to hear his annoying voice." After their laughter quieted down, he added,"I wouldn't mind being a pirate, myself."

Kastron shrugged. "For the fun of it. I'll get to have my own ship, my own crew, and well have good times. We'll have adventures, and loot things. And I wouldn't have to listen to anybody. I could just do what I think best."

What he thinks best? That's a scary thought, Eldor thought to himself. ''I guess so, but I would prefer to become a ranger.

Kastron thought a while. "Why do you want to be ranger?" He didn't really know what exactly that was, but he did want to know why Eldor wanted to be one.
