A hurricane has just struck land in it's path is Echodawn kennels a K9 breeding/training facility the staff has very little time to rescue all of the dogs there is a issue three of the dogs are heavily pregnant and will go into labour any day now but besides that some of the k9's in training have also been left

Wave
Wave would look out at the storm brewing outside if this was a bad storm why weren't any humans coming to remove her and the other dogs, she was very pregnant and due to give birth any day now she could feel all five of her unborn puppies squrming around inside of her, she got to her paws her belly swaying with the pups and the coming milk, she barked loudly trying to get the attention of any human that was still in the building but it was a futile task as no one was coming to rescue her, she was on her own with her unborn puppies, she could hear the fierce winds howling outside growing stronger by the hour.
Wren
Wren would bark she didn't like the looks of the outside it was very worrying, all of her search and rescue training told her this was a very bad storm and death was bound to happen, but she had to stay positive that her handler would come for her and give her all the treats she deserved for a hard day's training, she could see a spotted dalmation a few kennels down from her, were they worried about the coming storm like she was, if they were she couldn't detect it in there behavior, her red coat shone when the lighting iluminated her kennel, she was a Irish setter and one of the finest search and rescue dogs in the wilds of Maine, she had found twenty missing hikers so far in her career and possibly more in the future.
