After a long harsh leaf-bare an illness has began to spread within the four clans.

Medicine has become scarce as the medicine cats try to keep it contained.

Duskclan seemed to be healthy until their leader fell ill.

Rumors began and the other clans have began to shut out Duskclan

while rouges have tried to attack to become the new leader.

Willowbreeze

Willowbreeze stretched in her nest, yawning and padded out into camp. It was a beautiful morning and a light breeze ruffled her fur. She let out a little purr as she saw Foxpelt’s kits playing with him near the fresh kill pile. Mapleleaf, Foxpelt’s mate was a few paces away from him, eating a nice rabbit. Willowbreezes mouth watered at the sight of prey. She trotted over to the fresh kill pile and picked out a squirrel. “Morning Foxpelt” she meowed to her clan mate. “Morning Willowbreeze” Foxpelt meowed as he tried getting his three daughters off his back. Willowbreeze let out a morrow of laughter and trotted into a patch of sunlight to eat her breakfast.

Mapleleaf

Mapleleaf finished up eating her rabbit and she padded over to her mate and kits. “Minnowkit, Blurkit, and Flowerkit” Mapleleaf meowed. Minnowkit looked up at her mother as she scrambled on her father’s back. “What did I tell you about playing on your father’s back when he’s trying to eat?” Mapleleaf asked. “To not play on his back” Bluekit chirped. “Correct” Mapleleaf purred. She grabbed Minnowkits scruff and pulled her off Foxpelt. Foxpelt let out a purr and nuzzled his mate. “Thank you” he meowed. Mapleleaf nodded and she hurdled the kits back to the nursery as they squealed in protest.

Owlstar groans as he gets up. Heading over to see Moonpool for his stuffed up nose and achy joints. 
He flattens his ears, it was his fourth time visiting her and the rumors of the illness spreading quick between the clans had him nervous. Poking his head through the opening of the medicine den. It was warm and inviting. Morningpool welcomed him inside quickly, winter was over but it was still a little chilly out. 
"Ill let you take these back with you to your den, dont skip taking them since your cold seems to be getting worse" Morningpool said sternly and quickly gave him some leaves to take for the next few days. "Morningpool... Its the illness isnt it?" He said bluntly. "Im not sure yet, It is still small. Please let me know if anything changes. And try to keep away from others" She said nodding her head.
Owlstar started for the door and looked at her over his shoulder "Please, keep this between us until it goes away." Morningpool nodded and he padded back to his den.

Echo runner

Echo Runner noticed the clan's prey pile was barely full how long had it been since anyone went hunting she thought, she then thought back to her days as a rogue learning how to hunt by following and observing predators from a safe distance, but now she could scent sickness on the borders that surrounded there clan, a mouse brained clan leader would have attacked the sick clans, but she knew Owlstar was smart and would not attack if there was no threat to there clan, but there was something wrong as she looked around the camp no one had seen Owlstar address there clan and send out patrols was there great leader sick she thought as she waited to hear his voice.

Hail

Hail could scent sickness in the air he wanted to help them all recover but he could never find anything to leave on what might be there borders, he looked up to see a long haired black she cat she was elderly looking he could tell because she moved with stiffness, "Helping them wildcats is a useless idea stranger they won't accept it no matter how much you try you will always be a rogue to them" said the black long haired she cat,  he let out a hiss "You don't know that not every wild cat sees us as a rogue" Hail retorted his white tail lashing wildly, the black she cat pinned back her ears "Then you are a fool young one see the scars I wear on my face that didn't come from one of us the clan cats did that to me when I tried to join them" the black she cat said, he looked at her face a long scratch ran from her jaw to the fur on her nose "I'm Hail not young one" Hail said, he could see the black she cat soften "you are young maybe I am wrong and they will let you join I'm Night nice to meet you Hail" Night said she then walked away from Hail on paws that were as silent as her name, Hail would search for something to help the group of wildcats nearest him but everything he could find was either ruined by animals that ate it or destroyed by the elements, "Please someone guide me to a herb that will help these wildcats" Hail said, he was stunned when a cat covered in stars appered right in front of him they flicked there tail beckoning him to follow, "Follow me Hail and do not be afraid for I will keep you from harm" spoke the starry cat, he then followed the starry cat to a large clearing full of herbs they were untouched and fresh "The herb you seek is not far just beyond my left paw" spoke the starry cat, he then found the herb and had it gently in his jaws not risking chewing it or anything, "I wish you luck Hail if you ever need my guidence again I will be here for you" said the starry cat before they vanishing leaving Hail to navigate his way back.

Willowbreeze

Willowbreeze padded over to Echorunner. "Good morning Echorunner" she meowed. "Do you think you and Foxpelt could go on a patrol this morning?" She asked. "We need some more prey, especially for Mapleleaf and her kits" Willowbreeze meowed, as she looked over at Mapleleaf, who was just entering the nursery with her three kits. Willowbreeze called for Foxpelt and he came trotting over. "I'd like you and Echorunner to go on patrol this morning" She meowed. Foxpelt nodded. "alright" He said. "Echorunner, do you want to do a border patrol or a hunting patrol?" Foxpelt asked. "Foxpelt, do you want me to let Mapleleaf where you're going?" Willowbreeze asked. Foxpelt nodded and Willowbreeze padded over to the nursery, poking her head inside, to find Mapleleaf in her nest, with her three kits snuggling up at her belly. "Mapleleaf" Willowbreeze purred. Mapleleaf rose her head. "Come in, come in" she meowed to Willowbreeze. Willowbreeze padded inside and sat down at the edge of her nest. "Foxpelt is going on a patrol with Echorunner" she meowed. Mapleleaf nodded. "arlight, thanks for telling me" she said, as she licked her kits heads as they suckled.

Mapleleaf

Mapleleaf licked her kits heads one by one as they suckled. Willowbreeze had just left the den and now Mapleleaf was purring softly to her three daughters. Bluekit was now curling herself up beside Mapleleaf, yawning like she had never taken a nap before. Mapleleaf let out another purr and she nuzzled Bluekit as she settled herself close to her two sisters and fell asleep. Her two sisters on the other hand...they suckled for a while longer before curling up as well. "Good night my precious kits" Mapleleaf purred to her three sleeping kits. This was the life. She was the mother to three amazing kits, and she was the mate of Foxpelt. The only thing Mapleleaf was worried about...was her kits getting some sort of sickness.

After meeting with Owlstar, Morningpool went out to forage. She went to the usual spots to find certain leaves and honey and relied on the other clans to help her with the other supplies.
The sick was in the air. She was able to tell where the other Clan's borders were when it began to smell the strongest. Flicking her tail back cautiously her mind went to Duskclan. Young cats were becoming sick and she needed to make that her priority. Her thoughts were interrupted seeing their patrol. She nodded at them giving a warm smile as they passed eachother.
She sighed. Finding supplies was hard, especially after leaf bare. She pulled some leaves off of some branches that would help with the other cat's coughs.

Echorunner greeted Willow Breeze warmly "Good morning Willowbreeze" she meowed back before answering her, "I would love to go out on patrol with Foxpelt," she said as she saw Foxpelt trot over "Let's make it a hunting patrol the clan needs to be fed" Echorunner meowed as she let Foxpelt take the lead, she was still rather fresh to clan life and still didn't know all the clan territory yet but with time she would, there were very few prey scents in the air a rabbit some crows and a few mice but there was also the faint scent of a fox, which worried her it didn't smell fresh but it didn't convince her that the fox was completely gone.

Hail approached the clan's border and carefully dropped the herb before darting away not wanting to get spotted in case the cats were hostile, "I hope they appreciate that" he meowed as he went back to the herb garden to gather some more, he then caught the scent of a dog what was a dog doing this far away from it's home he thought, as he scrambled up the nearest tree in case the dog was nearby his fur and tail were fluffed up and his back was arched in fear, "normally I wouldn't fear dogs but this one might be huge and attack cats" he meowed to himself, as he saw the large red shape of a dog coming near the tree he had climbed up.

Foxpelt

Foxpelt nodded and took the lead out of camp. He lifted his muzzle into the air and tasted rabbit. "I smell squirrel and rabbit" he remarked with a meow. "How about, you go find the squirrel, and I will find the rabbit for Mapleleaf" he suggested, knowing rabbit was his mate's favorite. Just then, he heard padding behind him. Foxpelt turned and saw his apprentice Cloverpaw. "Cloverpaw" he purred. "what are you doing out of camp?" he asked. Cloverpaw licked her paw and draped it over her ear. "well, Willowbreeze said you were going hunting! I thought I would tag along" She said, with a satisfied smile.

Willowbreeze

Willowbreeze padded to Owlstars den and poked her head inside. "Owlstar?" she called to her leader, as she sat down at the entrance. "can I come in?" she asked, as she looked up and saw Minnowkit, storming out of the nursery, with Flowerkit and Bluekit behind her. Mapleleaf, trying to herd them back into the nursery. Willowbreeze let out a morrow of laughter at the stuggle the queen was going through to get her kits back into the nursery

Owlstar perked his ears sitting up slowly. "Yes?" He said steadily. "How can I help you Willowbreeze?"

[Abbster]

Willowbreeze padded into her leaders den, and sat down near his nest. "are you alright?" she asked him, concern in her gaze as she looked at him. "I haven't seen you leave your den all morning...and that isn't like you" she said, as her tail flicked a little. She tilted her head to the side and then looked Owlstar up and down. "are you sick?" Willowbreeze asked. "If you are, I don't mind taking care of the clan for you" She said, with a little amused purr.
