[Chloriosus]

Osaraka waited for a response from her usually so talkative friend, and looked to her in confusion when she got none. "Nala? Are you ok?"

[Abbster]

Nala suddenly snapped back to reality. "what? huh?" she said. "Oh, yea...I'm ok." she said. "I was just lost in my thoughts. Thats all" she said. That was true, Nala had been lost in her thoughts. And the thoughts she was thinking about was something she did NOT want to remember. But no matter how hard she tried, the memory kept flooding back into her mind. "There's a reason I won't climb trees" Nala said

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka nodded. "There's a reason I don't swim.", she said calmly. "You ok talking about it?"

[Abbster]

Nala sighed, but nodded. "so...when I was little, my best friend and I were playing a game. I raced up a tree, and she followed me" Nala said. "the branch we were sitting on was unstable, and it cracked. I watched my best friend fall to her death." Nala said. "it traumatized me, and then I promised myself I'd never climb another tree again" she said

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka looked slightly shaken. "Oh no... I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I shoudln't have mentioned trees, Im sorry."

[Abbster]

"no. It's ok" Nala said, nuzzling her gently. "so....can you tell me why you hate the water?" Nala asked, flicking her tail behind her as she finally felt her mind beginning to clear from the memory. She sighed a bit and then her eyes closed, happy that finally she wasn't thinking about that memory. The memory of watching her best friend die, was one of the worst memories for Nala.

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka shuddered slightly. "Well, as you probably know, I wasn't exactly popular amongst the other cubs. One day, I guess some of them thought it would be funny to hold my head underwaater at the drinking hole." She shrugged slightly. "Childish play, I guess. I never did like the water after that, especially not on my head."

[Abbster]

"that...wow" Was all Nala could say. "Hey, maybe I can help you get used to the water again." Nala said, nuzzling her friend again. "what do you think?" she asked, as she looked outside. "I promise, it won't hurt you." she added

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka smiled at Nala. "I know it won't hurt me. I watch other animals go into it all the time. I just really really hate the feeling now. I almost start panicking. Although it has been getting better lately.", she admitted. "I fell in today, in fact."

[Abbster]

“What?” Nala exclaimed “are you ok?” Nala asked, her eyes growing wide, as she looked at her friend. “How did you fall in?” Nala asked.

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. To be honest Im not quite sure how it happened, I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going I guess."

[Abbster]

Nala nodded. "well, I think you know this already, but please, be more careful" Nala said, laughing a little bit, and nudging her lightly

Osaraka smiled dryly and nodded."Yeah. But don't forget I by some mistake stayed alive for the last few years, for here I am.",, she laughed, her mood lightening. "So what do you think Scar's ulterior motives are here? You mentioned earlier you didn't trust him?"

[Abbster]

Nala chuckled as well, then she sighed. "I don't know" Nala mumbled. "I only met him one other time besides today" Nala said. "and he was quite rude"

Osaraka thought that over. "I see. When did you meet him? I thought you said earlier you hadn't?"
