This is a private rp between me (Abbster) and Chloriosus. If you are NOT one of these people, I ask that you do not comment. You are more than welcome to read the rp for enjoyment though! When a lion and tiger first meet, they are not fans of each other at all. They even try to go different ways, but some how still end up crossing each others paths. When the lion learns about a mysterious noise coming from a near by forest, (which was given to her by a very reliable source. The crow) The lion has to put the way she feels about the tiger aside so the two can actually work together to figure out what that noise is, and on their long journey, they become close friends and end up having a lot more in common then they both realized. Nala-lion (Abbster) Osaraka-tiger (Chloriosus)

Nala yawned and stretched where she lay asleep in her cozy cave. She shook her pelt and padded out of the den. Breathing in the morning air and letting out a roar to the lions who lived near her. She could hear their replies and Nala smiled a bit, before she began trotting through the tall grass that covered the entrance to her cave. She sniffed the air and looked around. “Hmm” Nala said to herself. “No prey at the moment…but that won’t stop me” she said, gazing around as a group of buffalo began walking towards her. Her mouth watered. “Breakfast time” Nala said, flicking her tail behind her as she crept up to one of the weaker buffalo.

Osaraka woke up as the sun hit her face. She opened her eyes quickly, staring blatantly into the sun, as if involved in some impossible staring competition. Eventually, it was too much for her eyes, and she blinked. The air sounded dead to her. No bird was to be heard. Osaraka got up, and slowly stretched herself, starting with her head and ending with snapping her tail, then shook her coat. "My black coat, as black as the hollowness inside me.", she told herself, before silently padding through the grass, careful to stay in the shadows, for this is where she was least likely to be noticed by anyone. She continued this for some time, looking for something to eat, her eyes finally alighting on a small herd of antelope. They were all in the sun. Osaraka crouched down and waited for one of them, anyone of them, to come close to the shade of the tree she was hiding in, for some time or later, she knew, one of them would come under the alluring shade of the tree, then only would she pounce.

Nala crept closer to the buffalo. Her mouth beginning to water, her bright sharp teeth showing. Nala crept closer, and when she was close enough, she broke into a run. Landing on top of the buffalo and brining to down with her. When her meal was ready, she watched other buffalo scamper away before bending her head for her nice morning meal. When she finished eating, Nala looked around. Out in the open, she saw a few trees near by. “There’s gotta be some water in there” she said, as her mouth was dry after her buffalo breakfast. She trotted towards the woods, noticing a herd of antelope. “Ugh” Nala grumbled. “Antelope were never my favorite” she said to herself, which was when she noticed an animal, lurking in the shadows. Nala passed the animal swiftly and continued her search for water.

Osaraka sat quietly in a hiding spot, when she noticed an animal passing her. She quickly perked up, in case this would be her next meal, then recoiled when she noticed what it was: a lion! She bristled slightly at this. The antelope moved upon seeing the lion passing, and Osaraka was slightly annoyed that the lion had sort of chased the antelope away. She ran into the shade of another tree, then into that of a rock, in an attempt to follow the antelope. Feeling it was no use, she did exactly that what she hated doing, she stalked quietly throough the grass, approaching an antelope in full sunlight. As she quietly moved through the grass, the antelope caught sight of her mismatching coat, moving like a shadow, and started to run. Osaraka let out a growl, and bounded after the frightened antelope, chasing after it, when she noticed that to her dismay, it was heading towards the small creek not too far from her, she put on a burst of speed, and saw the creek approaching. The antelope was now incredibly close to the wet, cool, trickly stuff. Osaraka jumped as far as she could jump, and, just in time, managed to sink her teeth into the antelope's soft throat. It dropped dead, and she instantly started devouring it, for the morning was long, and she had not eaten since yesterday noon.

Nala turned as she saw movement. Instantly, she growled. “Great. It’s a tiger.” She said to herself. She looked around and managed to find water. “Finally! Nala said, racing over to the water and dipping her muzzle into it. She closed her eyes as she drank and when she finished, she caught the scent of that tiger. “That tiger is on my land.” Nala growled. “I hate trespassers.” She held her tail in the air and sniffed the air again, following the tigers scent until she found it, eating its breakfast. “Excuse me” Nala growled. “What do you think you’re doing?” She asked.

Osaraka quickly perked up at the sound of a strange voice, and spun around, only to be standing face to face with an animal she detested more than a hyena, the lion. She let lose a growl, then stepped slightly back into the shadow of a rock. "What does it look like I'm doing?", she asked vehemently. "I'm eating and,", she suddenly took on a defensive posture, "I would like it if you left!" Her tail lay absolutely motionless. She stared into the lions eyes as if she was the sun.

Nala rolled her eyes. “Oh I’m not going anywhere. This is my land. You are trespassing.” She hissed angrily. “Get. Off. My. Land.” Nala said, as she glared at the tiger. Why did it have to be a tiger? Anything but a tiger! She swished her tail back and forth and Nala sat down. “I told you. I’m not going anywhere. So it’s either you leave, or, I’ll have to get the other lions” Nala said, with hatred in her tone. She swished her tail back and forth angrily, as she stared at the tiger, her claws flexed and ready if this tiger tried anything.

Osaraka's thoughts spiraled wildly for a moment. "This isn't all your land.", she said, taking care to keep her voice low, yet still letting her hatred seep through. "And I intend on finishing my meal. Now, either you'll excuse me, or I will fight you!", She let her tail twitch once, still keeping her gaze on the lion, as if she could hypnotize her.

Nala let out a snicker. “Do you dare fight me?” She demanded, as she continued to glare at the tiger. “You know. Fine. Finish your meal, but if you dare take a meal from me, you’ll be sorry” Nala growled. “Oh, and the names Nala by the way, not that it matters.” Nala said, standing up and stalking away from the tiger, her tail swishing behind her as she turned and glared at the tiger. “Stay out of my way.” She added with a hiss.

At this Osarak flashed her teeth. "In case you weren't paying attention, you were the one who chased off my prey.", She slowly started back towards the safe shadow of the tree, which was retreating. "So, technically, it was you who almost stole a meal here. I dare fight you, come and see for yourself.", she added, as the lion started turning.

“Whatever” Nala said. “Just remember what I told you. Stay out of my way, or you’ll be sorry” she growled as she began running into the long grass once more. The long grass tickled her pelt. That didn’t bother Nala. She ran until she came up to the pride, slowing when she saw Simba. “Hi Simba” Nala said. “Nala. What do I owe this visit?” He asked, knowing Nala usually kept to herself. “I spotted a tiger close to our land.” Nala said. Simba nodded. “Alright. Thank you for telling me. If you see the tiger again, let me know” he said. Nala nodded, and then turned, racing back to her cave, and slowing when she got to the grassy entrance.

Osaraka looked about herself warily for about five minutes after the lion had left, before going back to devouring her kill. She didn't like lions, not at all, and she was still angry. After finishing her food, she walked over to the creek and took a drink, growling slightly when some of the water happened to touch her paws, causing it to get wet. "She then retreated to the shadows once more, thinking bitterly about how she would stalk about if she had a normal coat.

Nala pushed her way into her cave through the grass. No animal would ever know a lion lived there. The cave was covered with a ton of long grass, which Nala loved of course. The thought of the tiger made her growl. The memories of when she got attacked as a cub came flooding back to her. Nala shuddered and lay her head on her paws

Osaraka was in hunting mood again. She had taken a nap, one filled with dreams about her mothers death. She woke up with hateful thoughts, and her mind reproached her that she had not attacked the lion. She called herself, and began slipping through the shadows again. She used to hate this, slinking around as if she were scared. The sting of her odd fur bothered her greatly, but now, she didn’t care anymore. She was used to it. Quietly, she rushed through the shadows, stalking a stork who was apparently looking for grasshoppers. Osaraka didn’t particularly carry an appetite towards h to one birds, but they were fun to hunt, and brought out the fun side in her.
