The crow just laughed again at both of the larger creatures defensive positions. “How would I, a mere crow, bring down the both of you, when either one of you can single handelt take down a lion. I am trying to be wise, and attacking you guys would not be a very wise thing to do, don’t you think? I came to you to see if you wanted help.” Osaraka death glared him. “With what. You just said yourself you don’t fight.” The crow refrained from chuckling. “I didn’t say I don’t fight. I said I was wise.” Osaraka shook her head. “He’s crazy.”, she told Nala quietly. “You talk to him.” The crow looked at the two rather bemused. “You know I can hear you both, right? This talent of understanding is quite a thing with us crows. Some of us can even learn the language of the humans!”

Osaraka sigjed. “I suppose it doesn’t take very much to do that on my part at least. “ the crow on the other hand just sat. “I watch everything.”, he simply said.

Nala tilted her head. “Ok, but you still haven’t exactly told us why you came to us” Nala said, looking at Osaraka and then the crow.

The crow switched feet. "I have come to observe your life, and to help you with your journeys should the need arise. What I observe, and what I will be doing, depends entirely on you."

Nala blinked and then she looked over at Osaraka. “Ok…?” She said, feeling strange that this crow….was wanting to help them? “What type of journey are you talking about?” Nala asked. “Osaraka and I, usually just stick around here.” She told him. “Is there some sort of journey we need to go on?” Nala asked.

Soot throat threw back his head and switched feet again. "Whatever YOU feel you need to go on. I can;t tell you ways, but I can accompany you on them. Do you feel you must go on a journey?"

Nala looked puzzled. "a journey?" she asked. "what kind of journey....I mean....I love it here, but I do want to explore the land more" Nala admitted a bit.

The crow shook his head. "I mean more than an adventure journey, although you will no doubt come across that. What I mean is a journey to discovering more than that, perhaps, even yourself"

Nala thought for a second. "would we have to separate?" she asked

The crow shook his head. "There are no rules. Like I said, I'm not here to tell you what to do, just to help you along."

Nala sighed and looked over at her friend. "what do you think we should do?" she asked her, looking back at the crow

Osaraka shrugged. "If he thinks we should go find our minds, Im pretty sure that isn't a bad idea, for mine is telling me that thing is talking, and as far as I know that's not supposed to be possible."
