[Chloriosus]

"I'm fine, I'm fine.", Osaraka drew herself up and retreated to a shadow. "The question is, are YOU fine? Thank you for standing up for me like that. I really didn't expect you too." She lay down and stretched. "I mean, nobody ever did that before and, I wouldn't have thought it odd if you backed off." Presently she added, "Thank you. I really appreciate what you did there."

Nala smiled. "we're friends now" She said. "that's what friends do" Nala said, as she retreated into the shadow's after Osaraka. Nala nodded. "yea. I'm ok" she said. "just a bit of wounds here and there, but I'm not surprised Simba lashed out at me like that" she said. "I knew he would when he found out." Nala said, shuddering a bit." Osaraka, are you sure you're ok?" Nala asked, sitting down beside her, worry in her gaze as she looked at the wounds her friend had recieved.

[Chloriosus]

"Yes, I'm sure I am. Of course, he targeted all the places he got yesterday, that sneak.", she said, grimacing slightly, then licking some of the wounds Nala had received. "This bite you got here looks quite painful.", she said after a while, motioning towards one on Nala's side. "I hope it doesn't get infected. How does it feel?"

Nala shrugged. "that hurts the worst of them all" Nala admitted. "I wasn't exactly watching what he was doing, and I think he got my bone.." Nala said, wincing a bit as her side throbbed. "Do you want to go to the stream and get cleaned up?" Nala asked. "It will feel really good on our wounds" She said, with a smile to Osaraka.

Osaraka considered this a moment. She hated water, she hadn't admitted it yet though, and it was a silly thing to hate water, she didn't want to seem like a coward. But she realized that if Nala was her friend, and had no intention of hurting her, she would have to tell the truth after a while. She put her head down and looked at some of the blades of grass weaving in the wind. "I hate water.,", she admitted. "I'm scared of it, but I'll come down with you.", she finished quickly. "I just won't get in... If that's ok with you." she looked worriedly at Nala, who really seemed to want to go down there.

“No. Of course you don’t have to go in!” Nala said. “I….i hate rain” she said as they made their way to the stream. Nala limped. Her shoulder throbbing with every step she took. Nala winced a bit and when they got down to the water. She padded into it. The cool stream instantly going over her wounds and feeling so much better. When her wounds had stopped bleeding, Nala climbed out of the water and shook her pelt a few ways away from Osaraka.

Osaraka slowly followed nala to the creek. Her side was bothering her considerably, but she didn't want to worry Nala, so she pretended she was fine, though she almost fell over a log that was lying horizontally on the ground. She took a few sips of the water as Nala bathed, but she made sure to steer clear of the water, for she really didn't like it, though she had to admit it looked somewhat inviting. "Are you feeling better?", she asked Nala somewhat hoarsly.

Nala looked at her friend. She sighed. “Osaraka” she said. “Let me help you” Nala begged. “Please” Nala said. “Let me help you”

[Chloriosus]

Osaraka looked up and gave her tail a half hearted half twitch. "There's really nothing you can help me with.", she said slowly. "I'm fine, mostly." She gave a small laugh.

[Abbster]

Nala sighed. “I’m helping you anwyay” she said, grabbing a leaf and placing it in the water before her put it on her friends pelt. “This may sting” Nala said, as she placed water on her side

Osaraka considered bolting, but realized that this would not be a very nice thing to do. She knew that Nala was just trying to help her, so she set her teeth, and let Nala put the leaf on her. She gave a his, for Nala's prediction that it would sting had indeed come true, and it stung pretty bad at that. "What's that supposed to do to me?", she asked almost jokingly.

Nala let out a small laugh. “It’ll help the bleeding stop” Nala said as she pressed some more water on her side. “There you go” Nala said. “You’ve stopped bleeding” she said, leaning forward suddenly and licking Osaraka’s ear.

Osaraka flinched slightly, before shaking her coat slightly. "Will Simba stay angry at you for long?", she asked suddenly, darkening slightly as she said his name.

Nala sighed. “I don’t know” she admitted. “But I don’t care anymore” she admitted. “I have a friend now. You. You jumped into action as soon as Simba attacked me” Nala said. “Thank you”

Osarak softly rubbed her nose against Nala’s fur. “I will always try to protect you,”, she promised. “But I don’t know if I’ll always be there…. Like if you were to get attacked while I’m not there, or something. Are you tired?”
