NPC- ish Sign Ups:

Character: Human

Name: Tanarad

Age: 26

Chosen weapon: very long barb tipped spear. It is light enough to throw as well. He also has a small hunting bow. Surprisingly he is also very good at fist fighting and wrestling.

Dragon's name: Rygar

Personality: Tanarad is very socially awkward and is often times considered eccentric and quirky.

Backstory: As far as he knows Tanarad had always lived at or at least near the Nest. Though when he was a young boy his parents had died in an accident, ever since then he slowly began to draw away from those in his general group till finally he drew away altogether and went with his dragon to live in the forest south of the Nest. He was actually quite surprised to bond with a dragon in the first place but Rygar didn't come from the Nest. He was a wild dragon that Tanarad had found wounded in the forest, his leg mauled terribly, what had happened Tanarad never knew.... Rygar never told him. They come around for meals when the forest gives him slim pickings, and of course get orders from the commander, but the prefer lone scouting missions best.

Power: No one really knows this but he can transfer his thoughts to other dragons and even humans, he also has a generally calming aura about him

Personality: He is just as socially awkward as his rider, and many of the other dragons also think him to be eccentric and quirky

Weaknesses: he loathes fighting and stays away as much as he can, his awkwardness around other dragons

Character: elf

Name: Zurak

Age: 18

Chosen weapon: Two knives one of which doubles as a sword breaker, and a razor like cog which returns if its thrown properly.

Zurak's entire family were knife slingers, so it was natural for him to learn how to use one from a young age. He became quite skilled in the art, but recently his interested have turned to the Skarova, a cog like wheel that is extremely sharp and has many spikes along it. He is relatively new to it, especially as far as catching goes, and always wears long fingerless hand and wrist protectors. He is getting better, but he has had many scrapes with it, both figuratively and literally, and has already had several involuntary hair cuts.

Dragons Name: Rush

Personality: Zurak is the literal embodiment of a brooding and moody teenager. He lashes out a lot and is usually in a very bad mood. He isn't exactly the brightest of the bunch as far as actual schooling goes, but he holds his own in fighting and combat.

Backstory: Zurak grew up as the youngest child in a family of nine. Despite popular belief, he was in fact not the favored child. As a small child he was often made fun of for being rather on the small side. Although he has reached his growth spurt and now towers over several of his acquaintances, as he calls people his age, he still carries the resentment with him. He detests his name and much rather prefers to be called Zeake, but only his friends call him call him that and he doesn't care to have any, so he still goes by Zurak. He is now trying to prove himself to his parents and moved away from home. Because of his scary good ability with knives, he was hired by a barber for a time, but after numerous complaints from several people that he intentionally messed up their hair he got fired.

Appearance: As fore said, rather on the tall side, very wiry and spry. Shortish black hair and dark green eyes.

Name: Rush

Age: 29

Rider: Zurak (Zeake)

Power: As the names suggests, he has unmatched speed. His long snake like tail has knife like sharp scales which he uses to slash up victims. He can also pull in his legs and slither like a snake, can swim.

Personality: Very manipulative and sneaky, he enjoys messing with other dragons and making them feel insecure. He is not liked by most of his kind and his underhand tactics at manipulation often makes him known as low down. He is very protective of his rider around other dragons, since he has been looking out for him since he had been very small. Delights in all things evil. Is also known and despised for occasional cannibalism.

Mate: None

Strengths: When he goes very fast the lighting casts different reflections off his shiny scales, making him almost invisible.

Weaknesses: His backstabbing nature causes people to not trust him with anything, as pretty much everything he says has a 90 percent probability of being a lie. Also his legs are rather weak, and he is too impulsive. Many a times he takes violence as the first option.

Character: Mother was a human, father was a dwarf.

Name: Rosten

Age: 24

Dragon's name: Syrillys

Appearance: Rosten was not very much in luck appearance wise. Although in form he appeares decidedly human, his lack of stature can definitely be credited to his father. Thus, he looks like a miniature human. His eyes flash orangish, and he has very bad teeth, missing about half of them because he got into a lot of fights to defend his looks. His auburn hair now stands in a hideous shaggy mohawk (curtesy of his archnemesis Zurak) Take him all around he is not a very attractive fellow.

Chosen weapon: Although it has always been Rostens fantasy to wield a traditional sword and shield, he has found that the weapons are too large for him and he is unable to balance using them. Thus, he has adapted to the Drakes' Tail Whip, a whip embeded with sharp dragon scales and claws as well as dragon teeth. Upon impact, it tears away at the flesh, also implanting a natural toxin derived from the nettle that delivers a searing pain to anyone unfortunate enough to come in contact with this gristly weapon.


Personality: He is a good friend and a feared enemy. Even though he is quite small, he will literally kill you and not bat an eye at that. He has a very weird sense of humor, but doesn't really understand metaphors. He is fairly approachable though he will always get suspicious once the word >height< is mentioned

Name: Syrillys

Age: 25

Rider: Rosten


Powers: Syrillys powers are some that even herself used to be afraid of. Through glands under her tongue, she emits a ghostly black fog that half resembles mist and half resembles flame. Upon being inhaled or surrounded with, this fog messes with the brain and nervous system, drowning out sounds and sending freezing chills down the victims spine. It also causes strange and fearful hallucinations, often that of being stuck in an unescapable place by yourself or with your worst fear , time barely passing, as if you were dead. Although the chills and impending nervousness ussually disappear as soon as the fog gets out of your system, the hallucinations can last for more prolonged amounts of time. While emiting the fog, Syrillys colors begin to vanish as her skin darkens. The bones in her wings visibly blacken, making her wings appear skeletal. The more angry or powerful she gets, the more her skin darkens with each attack. Her scales return to normal once she is not using her power.

Personality: Although she is on the evil team, Siryllys is a sweetheart. She is very flighty and affectionate, bubbly enough to turn whipped egg whites green with envy, and ready to make friends with anyone who comes her way. She is usually very forgiving, but when she does remember something, she will hold it against you in the worst ways possible anywhere you go in the smallest things. She does get very emotional at times, and has a quirky sense of humor. However, sometimes her jokes can take quite a dark turn. She sees life as a fun game, where being evil and destroying things are part of the rules. Almost nothing can darken her sunny attitude for long. The longish scales around her head constantly give up her mood, standing up when she is very happy, drooping when she is she happens to be sad, and lacing back when she tries to look scary. If something is bothering her, she will be very sad and probably cry, then forget about it a few minutes later in most cases.

Backstory: Syrillys is convinced that she looks terrifying and epic in battle, but in truth she looks very much out of place there because of her smiling attitude whilst fighting. Even if she does try her best to put on a feral or evil face, she usually ends up looking like a cute and angry kitten. However, at moments she doesn't attempt this and is using her power, she can look quite like a psychopathic little smiling freak of your nightmares. As a whole she and her rider look like a sort of mismatched team. Most people believe that the only reason Rosten chose Syrillys as his dragon was because he believed that she would somehow make him taller (very stupid assumption I know, but don't get upset at me for stupid peoples opinions), but the truth is that when he looked at the little dragonlings he couldn't resist her starry blue eyes, joyously waving tail and expectant smile as he picked her up to examine her bony black ribbed wings. After that it had been simply impossible to put her down, and he had kept her. Although she tries to be friends with everyone, one of her most trusted friends is Rush, Zuraks speedy and manipulative dragon, to the great despair of Rosten


Strengths: her charming character, is a fairly good swimmer, and a somewhat speedy flier.

Weaknesses: despite not admitting this Syrillys, is scared of many things. Ironically, one of her biggest fears is the dark and it took her a great while to become willing to use her power. She hates being left alone, all by herself, and she feels very deeply and passionately about her "friends". What seems to them as a small interaction is a great deal to her and betrayal hurts her deeply.
