The Tournament of Blades (Private rp with Abbster)

 Plot: The quiet cobblestone streets of the Kingdom of Silvercrest are coming alive as everyone prepares for the Tournament of Blades being hosted by the royal family in the capitol city of Stormhaven. Knights from across the vast kingdom have traveled to the city to compete, both those who have been newly anointed and those with more experience. From swordfights to fencing and even jousting, there will be many competitions for these knights to prove their prowess in.

Backstory: Isabelle, otherwise known to the public as Princess Isabelle, is the princess in the kingdom of Stormhaven. Her favorite thing is taking her mare, Sunrise on rides in the forest with Talon, her falcon flying at her side. Isabelle loves to take part in the tournaments but her father, King Albert does not let her. Although, he will allow her to show off the tricks she has done with Talon after every jousting match, and right before the sword fighting. Isabelle loves her life, but her father doesn’t let her out of the the castle without a guard with her. She enjoys to watch the tournaments take place in the battle arena of the castle, she also enjoys doing training with Sunrise in the battle arena as well. Isabelle also loves to work with Talon on his tricks in the castles garden.

Name: Cassidy Gautier (Go-tee-a)

Role: Knight

Personality: Cass can be a bit prickly, especially upon initial introductions. She tends to keep people at arm's length, pushing them away when she feels there's even a chance that she might be getting attached. It eats away at her but she prefers it to the pain that she believes will inevitably come when she either loses them to death or they grow tired of her and turn their backs on her. She has a bit of a fiery temper that often rears its ugly head when she's being pressed to speak on a topic she doesn't wish to talk about, usually her past or her complicated emotions. She will make it clear when she doesn't wish to discuss something but if continued to be pressed, she will often blow up at whatever poor soul didn't take a hint and back off to let her simmer down. That's not to say that she's heartless though. She would willingly put her life on the line to save another, without a second thought. And she shares an incredibly strong bond with her animals




Appearance: (Click) Cassidy stands in about 5'7'' with a very wiry build. She has short, curly black hair that falls short of her chin. Her right eye is blue, and her left green. A large scar cuts through the right side of her face and she often has a rather severe expression on her face


Horse: Bayberry: An large eight year old blood bay destrier stallion. He stands in at about seventeen hands tall. Bayberry, much like his owner can be quite ornery. If he doesn't like something, he will make his displeasure known. He is very iffy about people he doesn't know and is liable to bite or kick if someone unknown gets too close. Cass has owned him since he was a yearling, training him herself to be a reliable war horse. With her, he is almost like a different horse, calm and ready to work. He listens well and doesn't spook easily


Other Animal: Falcon: A two year old male peregrine falcon whom Cass (affectionately) calls "Falcon". The reason behind this was because she found him as a chick in an abandoned nest and planned to release him once he was old enough to fledge and she didn't want to get attached to the young bird. Needless to say, releasing him didn't work as the bird had become attached



Backstory: From the age of 5 to age 18, Cass grew up in an orphanage in the heart of the capitol city. She doesn't remember much of her life prior to the day she was brought to the orphanage. Whether that's her mind's way of protecting her from a traumatic event or just the effect of the passage of time, she doesn't know. But she hasn't ever really tried digging into the past. As far as she's concerned, the past is the past. It's done and gone. She grew rather close to a knight that would occasionally stop by the orphanage, and trained under his tutelage

Appearance: Kennadee


Horse: Shadow: is a black gelding who is very close with his owner. Shadow loves being ridden and he loves it when Kenn rides him. Kenn does morning training with Shadow with a lunge line in the arena. Shadow is 17 hands tall and Kenn uses him for her tournaments. Shadow loves to race, and he loves to work 

Other animal: Glimmer: is a bald Eagle who Kenn hatched from a chick. She was going to release her into the wild eventually but she became very attached to Glimmer, and eventually realized that maybe….just maybe Glimmer was meant to be her Eagle after all. Glimmer enjoys to fly through the sky as Kenn trains with Shadow in the arena. She knows multiple tricks, and Kenn keeps her in his own little area in the garden. It’s spacious and she can fly wherever she wants to.

Backstory: Kennadee was born in a different part of the kingdom, she was born to a some what poor family. It had been quite a challenge for her to get into the tournament in the royal kingdom, but eventually she proved herself worthy. Kennadee is a strong willed knight who has had a ton of practice. She can do multiple different stunts on her horse, for example: mounted archery, which is a side hobby and she doesn't usually use it for the tournaments in the royal kingdom.
