"I have mounted archery, dressage, fencing, and then regular archery" Kennadee said. "Although as Shadow is not a dressage horse, I am assigned to a royal horse for dressage" Kennadee said. "I wonder how that's going to work" She admitted, as she read the name. "Looks like I'm riding Dancing Moonbeam. That's her show name, and then her registered name is Moondapple." Kennadee said. "After I eat breakfast, I'll probably head down to the barn to meet her. I think she's a dapple grey, but I'm not sure."

"If you can, I would strongly suggest you take her for a test run this morning before the tournament. Get to know her a bit. Riding a new horse for the first time during the tournament can be detrimental to your performance. You want to find out how she responds, what makes her tick. That way you'll be able to work together as one when it comes down to it." Cass says. She had trained Bayberry in dressage, as well as to be a warhorse. So she didn't have to worry about riding an unfamiliar horse thankfully. But if Kenn had to, then she would hopefully have enough time to get a feel for this new horse.

"Oh, thats a good idea" Kennadee said. "Thanks, Cass" Kennadee said as she finished up eating. "Well, I don't think we have much time before our first session, so I'm going to go down to the barn, take Moondapple out for a little trail ride, see if I can figure out to get her to do her tricks" She said, as she went to the door and pulled on her boots. "See you later" Kenandee said, before walking to the barn. She found the princess in there with her horse. "Excuse me, your royal highness" Kennadee said. Isabelle turned. "Hi" She said. "Its Kenandee right?" Isabelle asked. Kennadee nodded. "Yea. I was assigned Moondapple for my dressage later today, I was just wondering if you could tell me where she is" Kennadee asked. "Oh, Moondapple is three stalls down." Isabelle said. "Thanks" Kennadee said as she walked three stalls down and found Moondapple finishing up her breakfast. "Hi girl" Kennadee said.

Cass nods slightly, taking a seat in an armchair by the fire. She'd finish off her breakfast, wash the dishes and then go check on Bayberry. He would probably be awake by the time she made her way down to the stables and then she could take him for a quick warm up before the tournament officially began. The last thing she needed was for the horse to injure himself because he hadn't warmed up properly.

Kennadee had given Shadow food right before she began grooming Moondapple. She rubbed her nose and got her tacked up...with an english saddle. The things Kennadee did for a tournament. She lead Moondapple out of her stall and then mounted her from the ground, patting her neck before she began walking. "Alright, just a nice little trail ride so I can get to know you" Kennadee said, rubbing Moondapple again.

Once she had finished her breakfast, Cass rises to her feet and gathers the dirty dishes. She would get them all washed and put away and then head over to the stables to check on Bayberry. Falcon watched her curiously from the back of the armchair as she busied herself about washing the dishes. He knew that he would be let out soon to fly while she was taking care of her horse.

After Kennadee had learned everything she could about Moondapple, she began to bring her back to the barn. She could tell that she and Moondapple would make a great team that afternoon. When she got to the barn, she saw Cass with Bayberry. "Hey, Cass" Kennadee said, dismounting and leading Moondapple into her stall to untack her and brush her down. She gave her some extra water in her bucket before she brushed her down.

"Hello... how did it go? Did you get a good feel for the horse?" Cass asks as she opens up Bayberry's stall to lead the blood bay stallion out of his stall. She'd get him brushed down and get his tack on before taking him out to get him warmed up. The start of the tournament was drawing ever nearer, and she needed to make sure that her stallion was ready in time to compete. He'd be back in his stall later, when it was time for her to supervise the squires.

"yea" Kennadee said. "She's a really good horse, easy to ride." Kennadee said. "And I figured out how to get her to do her dressage moves" Kennadee said, with a smile as she rubbed Moondapple's nose. "Good girl" She said, as she gave the mare some hay before she moved over to Shadow. "How long do we have before the first event?" Kennadee asked, opening Shadow's door to begin brushing him down

"Roughly forty-five minutes." Cass says as she grabs a curry comb to begin brushing Bayberry's coat. Dirt didn't really show up too badly against his reddish brown coat, but she still wanted to be sure that his fur was free from dirt for the tournament. Like many horses, Bayberry did enjoy occasionally rolling in dirt or grass. She didn't mind him doing so, but she groomed him regularly to make sure that he was presentable whenever she needed him to be.

“Alright, thanks” Kennadee said as she began to brush Shadow down. He wasn’t to dirty, but he needed a lot of brushing to get his coat nice and pretty. Eventually, it was nice and sparkly. Kennadee picked up his front hoof and began to clean that out as well. Once his hooves were clean, she braided has mane as braiding manes was a must when in a tournament.

"No problem." Cass says as she continues to work the dirt out of Bayberry's coat. She'd have just enough time to get him groomed and warmed up before the tournament. Thankfully he was good about standing still while she got him ready, whether it was brushing his coat or cleaning out his hooves, or even on occasion giving him an actual bath. Today though, he wasn't dirty enough to require an actual bath. His brush would do the trick.

Now that Shadow was all ready for the tournament, she led him into the arena so she could walk him around all the targets, and he could get a good feel for where they all were. Kenneadde smiled a little bit. She wanted this to go well. Of course, Kennadee had faith in both herself, and her horse. But still, she was quite nervous now that it was getting even closer and closer

Once she was satisfied that Bayberry was presentable for the tournament, Cass takes his reins in one hand and guides him out of the barn. She would take him out into one of the pens to get him warmed up and ready for the first time slot they were signed up for. The last thing she needed was for him to injure himself. Many injuries could be devastating for a horse, especially a broken leg.

Kennadee brought Shadow back to his stall and then untacked him, once he was untacked, she brushed him down and left his saddle outside his stall, like she had done with Moondapple. Kennadee gave him a bat of hay and then some water before closing his door and walking over to Cass. "Are you going first for the tournament?" She asked. "Or like, do you know what time you go on?"
