"You can cross that bridge when you come to it. For now though, we can just see what the outcome of this match will be." Gale says. He knew that Cass was skilled with a sword, and she was good about sizing up her opponent to determine what the best strategy would be. Of course, there would be no blood shed on this occasion, barring an accident since this was a tournament and not an actual battle.

Kenna ded nodded, crabbing as the match began. “I have faith Cass will win this.” Kennadee said to Gale as they watched it begin. Some how, Kennadee watched Presslee. Kennadee looked at Presslee and then she turned her attention back to Cass. Stay focused on Cass, Kenn. She told herself as the royal family continued their note taking. At the very end of the day, they would announce the winners for the first days of tournaments.

"Looks like she's got it." Gale says, watching as Cass managed to get Presslee on the ground, signaling the end of the match. Cass pulls her sword back, sheathing it again and reaches out a hand to help Presslee back onto her feet. It was just supposed to be a good spirited competition, so there shouldn't be any hard feelings over who won and who lost. But some people could take losing poorly.

Kennadee clapped her hands loudly. She cheered for Cass and stood up, cheering again, which was when Presslee looked up at the stands and saw her. “I…I should go talk to her.” Kennadee said, standing up and waiting. “Kenn?” Presslee said. “Hey” Kennadee said.

Gale nods slightly, rising to his feet as well. He would be heading down to meet Cass. He could see her exiting the arena now. If he was quick then he could probably catch up with her while she was getting her armor off. Plate armor could be quite heavy, though it didn't restrict movement. If it did then it wouldn't be very useful in battle.

“How are you?” Presslee asked. Kennadee nodded. “Good. Good. And you?” She asked. Presslee nodded. “Yea…good.” She said. “You and Shadow did a good job during the mounted archery” Presslee said. “Thanks” Kennadee said. “I uh…I gotta go. I want to have lunch with my friends before I have to get Moondapple ready.” Kennadee said. Presslee nodded. “Alright, good luck” she said. “Thanks” Kennadee said as she turned and ran to her friends. “That was the most awkward thing ever!” Kennadee said to Cass and Gale.

"What was so awkward?" Cass asks, one eyebrow raised. She hadn't been present when Kenn had spotted Preslee, since she had been preparing for the round of fencing. So she wasn't entirely certain what was going on.

“My friend…from when we were kids. I just talked to her for the first time in years!” She said. “It was so awkward” Kennadee said. “Kinda wish I didn’t talk to her honestly” she admitted.

"Come now, chin up. It certainly couldn't have been that bad. Come tomorrow nobody will even be thinking about it, aside from you if you don't put it behind you. Awkward moments are a part of life. No sense in dwelling on it." Cass says. "A good meal will do you good, get your mind off it. And we have limited time. Best get going" she says.

“You’re right. Thanks for that” Kennadee said, following after her two friends the restaurant. When they got there, it was quite busy, but they were able to get a table. Kennadee just got the same thing she did last time as she had to eat quickly. She wanted to make sure Moondapple was brushed down nicely before their ride later after lunch.!

"You need not thank me, it's just a piece of advice from one friend to another." Cass says. She had one more time slot today in the tournament and then she was supervising the squires who were competing in the junior section of the tournament. She wasn't sure why she had been asked to supervise them, but she had agreed to do so.

Kennadee laughed and began eating her soup when it got there. She didn't have much time to eat as she wanted to get Moondapple nice and shiny before their ride that afternoon. Kennadee was still quite nervous about it, but she was feeling a lot better about things at the moment

"Try not to wolf it down so quickly that you choke. You've got time, not much but enough that you don't need to rush quite so much." Cass says, as she picks up one half of her sandwich. Choking before the tournament wouldn't do Kenn any good before she was set to compete.

Kenndee laughed slightly and slowed her eating down quite a lot. She finished up her soup and then moved onto her bread. She knew she would have to go fast when she got back to the barn. "Oh, Cass, you did amazing out there" Kennadee said with a smile as she continued to eat her bread

"That's very kind of you to say. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully as well. Just keep your head in the game, don't focus on what's going on around you. Just focus on the horse and you'll do just fine." Cass says, taking a bite of her sandwich. She had been competing from the time she was a squire, albeit in the juniors section at first. But by now, she was used to competing.
