When a stable full of abandoned horses is headed for the kill pen a rescue steps in and takes them all but it isn't long before some of them get adopted leaving the rescue with the horses that can't be rehomed easily to deal with some of them are perfectly sound and able to be adopted but because of there age there looked over by people who want younger horses, then there are the horses with behavior issues because of months of neglect and abuse this is there story. Anubis
Anubis would walk around the pasture looking at all the other horses that remained at the rescue , he had seen horses he had known since his time in the kill pen being adopted out, leaving him and a few others alone in the huge pasture at the rescue, he had gotten to know two of the mares from the kill pen pretty well over the weeks since there arrival, there was the former show jumper called Jazz who once had a great mouth but a rider who was rough on the reins had ruined her mouth for good, then there was the former wild mare called Annie who was still not used to being handled by humans or the riding tack .

Jazz would lower her head to graze on the grass in the pasture, she looked up breifly to see Anubis walking along the pasture fence then went back to grazing her tail swishing at the flies that were buzzing around her, she could hear the voices of the humans they were probaly coming to start today's training with that former wild mare Annie, she felt sorry for Annie as she had been taken away from everything she knew and put in a very unfamiller situation which must have been scary for her as everything she once knew was now gone.
