As ancient walls surrounding a city crumble it seems that the line between hero and villan has thined but will this peace last or will something unexpected to both sides change the way they live forever and force them to join forces to restore peace to the city that they call home.

Tj
Tj would walk outside of his house he noticed that the city seemed quiet a little too quiet, this would put him to ease temporairly but he knew something was about to happen something that would change the newly created peace between both heros and villans, he would look around for Julianna wondering if she was planning something like normal it kept him on his toes when she became Enceladus as she was the greatest threat to him, he then looked at his hands they were starting to tingle and get hot he had to shake them to cool his hands down, he was still figuring out his elemental side and he sometimes still accidently set things on fire but he was learning to control it the best he could and could even tell when he needed to become Firestorm where he could control his element.

Mark Jennings sat nonchalantly at a coffee shop in the middle of town, reading a news paper and silently laughing in his mind about how the media presented events to the public. He knew newspapers to be more as a thing of the past, but he still enjoyed scanning the headlines at times. Monday and Thursday evenings were his evenings off, and more than often the off part got canceled, so instead of going to some sort of usual place of amusement, he usually hung around various coffee shops, waiting just in case he got called up by anyone else in the agency. Today was a night like that. His phone vibrated in his hoodie pocket, and with a rather annoyed feeling in himself, Mark picked up his phone, his expression changing instantly from that of a “normal civilian” to that of a professional job interviewer. “Hello?”, he asked. Reading the phone number was useless, nobody but agency workers ever called him, and their caller ID changed every time. “Good evening 306.”, the somewhat raspy voice of Marks overbearer Skasgard greeted gruffly. “I need you back at headquarters, we finally found a job for you useless swiper.” “Oh that’s sweet. I’ll be over soon, just at the coffee shop honey.”, Mark responded in an overly enthusiastic voice. In an agency phone call it was important to make people think it was a regular call to your family. Skasgard coughed on the other end but wether he was actually coughing or trying to retain a laugh remains debatable. “There shipping you out to some city.”, he grumbled. “Need you for your “speech”.” Mark nodded “ok I will be right there. Bye!” He hung up the phone and downed his coffee, throwing the newspaper into a nearby trash can as he passed it. He then got in his car and began in his way.

Julianna
Standing at the mouth of an alleyway, Julianna watches the people of the city, mindlessly going about their business, completely unfocused on the world around them. Watching them as they passed by, whether they were in their cars, or on foot.....just made her sick. Something about just ordinary humans, with nothing special about them.....just seemed to rub her the wrong way. There had been plenty of times, where she simply went through the motions, as Julianna. But when she became Enceladus, her personality was as cold as her powers. The air felt thicker today, for some reason.....thicker than it had ever been in a long time. She was especially on edge, because of Firestorm. He proved to be a thorn in her side, ever since she arrived. Looking up at the sky, she could see that things were, for now, in her favor. She was bored.....incredibly bored. Most of the time, she threw chaos into the mix, since nothing said entertainment, like a seven car pile on, on the road. As long as Firestorm stayed away, her entertainment went unaffected, and she left him to pick up the pieces. She had learned quite a bit about her power, how to manifest it, and how to grow and develop it. She was gaining more access to a broader array of her powers, though she did have limitations. Looking up at the sky, focusing her mind and energy, she watches as the already cloudy sky, gets even cloudier. Stepping under an awning, she watches as hail, the size of nickels, starts falling from the sky. This was something that she did from time to time. If this went uninterrupted, then perhaps she would up the ante, and maybe draw Firestorm out of his little hiding spot, with a bit of chaos.

Tj
Tj would walk down the sidewalk ignoring the hail that started to fall he normally was very alert to any danger but today something was off with him he was bored having very little to do, he felt no need to transform into Firestorm not yet at least but he knew it would not be long until he was called upon to protect the city from threats like Enceladus, he then heard the sounds of a car alarm he looked at the hail it had certaintly grown in size very rapidly going from the size of a nickel to the size of a snowball, what was going on to cause the hail to grow so big in a few minutes he thought as he looked up at the sky he could see a drone flying, it seemed to be responsible for the hail's growing size although he could not be sure.

Mark had reached the agency headquarters, located under a huge museum in the middle of town. As he solemly and rigidly walked down the narrow and dimly lit gray colored coridors, he eyed each passing agent carefully, subtly keeping watch for Dimka, (pronounced Dyeem-kuh) an agent close to his age. Dimka had been involountarily drafted into this low down bussiness in a similar way to Mark, and the two really hit it off together during their training years. However, Dimka had been sent to some different location while Mark had been out on an extracting mission two weeks ago, and as of yet had not returned. Mark knew the agency wouldn't care to notify him if he did, so he kept watch all the same. By the time he reached Skasgard's office, he had had no luck, and slowly let himself in, stating his ID number, 306. Skasgard looked up from the papers he was sorting furiously, before taking a small pen like devise out of his pocket, which was actually a laser, and disintegrated them. Mark eyed him coldly. "You sent for me?" Skasgard did a reckord breaking eye roll. "Yes, you are being sent out to another city, we have a big project for you." Mark thought over what he had done the past few weeks. Except for a small speech slip up at a convention, he hadn't messed anything up for the agency, so it was unlikely they were sending him there to be killed. "What sort of mission is it?", he asked, his voice still nonchalant. Skasgard tucked his pen back in his pocket before answering, "They brought in some new agent, some weird testing tube drinker." He had taken the pen back out of his pocket and was waving it about in the air. It was Marks turn to get impatient. "As you know, I am not a trainer nor a lab guy, so you can write me off." Skasgard stopped swerving the pen. "Oh they don't need you for that.", he assured. "They know youve got no brains worth speaking of." Mark's face twitched at that remark. It was true, he had failed the 12th grade four times. "Anyhow,", Skasgard continued,"They need you for you language ability." Mark's eyebrows went up. "The agent speaks Romainian?" Skasgard shook his head. "No, its Russian." "Why do you think I know how to speak that?" Mark quired, his temper beginning to flare up. He and Dimka both spoke that language, yet Mark had managed to keep that a secret, or so he thought. He and Dimka used it when they trash talked their officers. Skasgard smirked. "We know everything.", he said simply. "Well, if you do, then why didn't you send Dimka? He openly speaks it." Skasgard shrugged. "Well, we did, two weeks ago, but they said they needed one more, replacement or something." "Oh?" Mark got slightly worried at this. It could mean his friend was dead. However, it didn't neccesarily, he quited himself. "Ok, I'm going.", he confirmed and began out the door. "You have half an hour to get out of here!" Skasgard shouted after him.

Julianna
Standing at the roof of one of the buildings, Juliana watches, through the rapidly growing hailstones, that there was a pitch-black drone hovering in the sky. It seemed to be, so far, undamaged by the bits of ice, that were pelting down to the ground, below. Who did that drone belong to? Where did it come from? Was someone watching her? There were very few people out there, who were like her, aside from Firestorm, who had proven, in the past, to be a rather big thorn in her side. Raising up a hand, she concentrates a bit, on the center of her palm, before sending a stream of ice, from her hand, directly at the drone. She didn't like the idea of being watched from afar. Like someone couldn't mind their own business, so they were constantly sending out artificial eyes to keep watch over the civilians. She watches as the ice covers the drone, sending it spiraling down into a tree, the sound of cracking ice, and splitting metal, echoing from the large sycamore. Letting the hail continue to grow, until they were about the size of golf balls, smacking into buildings and trees, and smashing into cars.

Tj would heard the drone crash and some ice shattering, "well at least it is no longer a promblem ...although I wish this hail would stop" Tj said as he walked over to investigate the drone crash site, he noticed that some of the leaves on the sycamore tree had been disturbed was someone there in the tree he wondered as he looked at the crashed drone, he noticed the ice that hit the drone was unusal like it was man made rather then natural ice which made him wonder if his enemy was nearby watching him, he then saw another drone this one was armed with some kind of force field he noticed some kind of name on the drone and he backed away from the tree and the crashed drone, he was postive this drone and the crashed one were keeping a eye on him and creating all sorts of odd weather patterns in the city for him to deal with, but he could not be sure they could just be security drones making there usual rounds of the city making sure there was nothing major going on.

As Mark entered the new agency premisses that he ws to call home base for the near future, he solemnly walked down the corridors, looking as if he hd been in this place a thousand times yet actually having no idea where he was going. He was keeping an eye open for Dimka, and he really hoped to still find him alive. He wandered the dim tunnels for almost half an hour when a guard stopped him, asking him for his agency identity and credentials. Mark stopped and pulled out his documents out of hidden pocket with some annoyance. The guard eyed him coldly through his hat that went over his eyes and made him look sort of like a cyclist. After viewing the papers, he nodded. "Zardon is expecting you.", he said gruffly, beginning to drag Mark with him, who unduly wrenched his arm away and drop kicked the guard, who lay there on the floor, dazed. He got up and seemed like he was about to attack Mark, when Mark, pulling his smart move, pulled out his credentials once again and made a pitying face. With an angered huff, the guard motioned him to follow him, his voice more taught this time. "You better last longer than that other man did, or believe me you'll be applesauce within five minutes.", he said in venomous tone. "From what I've heard, they've given you two minutes alive and three unconscious, tops, and that was the better who always losses." Mark didn't know what to make of this, but he followed the guard into a closed off room, where the guard shut the door and motioned him to a chair, standing by the door, rifle ready, waiting for the appearance of the very (un)respectable Mr. Zardon.

Watching as the hail continued to pelt down, Juliana was keeping an eye open, around her surroundings. Her ability had completely destroyed an expensive drone, that likely belonged to someone, who was incredibly important. She had no idea why drones were even being used. Were they being monitored? Well, to her, that didn't really matter, she had been causing trouble for a while. Enough, that sometimes it would get Firestorm's attention. She didn't know him by his real name, but she didn't care. As far as she was concerned, he only knew her, as Enceladus. Hearing the buzzing of another drone, she looks behind her, raising up a hand, as a stream of ice appeared from her palm, completely covering the drone in a thick layer of ice. She hated nosy people and their expensive equipment......she hated prying eyes. And if they were going to keep sending drones out here, then she was going to destroy every single one. Maybe she would even draw Firestorm out of hiding.

Tj
Tj wasn't sure why these drones were even here as far as he knew he broke no laws, "I just hope this is a glitch or something ..I don't like being observed" Tj said as he walked away from the tree barely even noticing another crashed drone he just shrugged his shoulders and continued walking, maybe he could talk to that weird goverment guy that keeps showing up at his family's home, "hmm on second thought probaly not a good idea they could see my powers and as far as anyone is concerned elementals aren't real" he said to himself as he heard the sound of a drone, he finally had enough and set fire to the drone watching it fall from the sky as it caught fire, he just had to hope that it had melted the camera before it even showed a video of him using his powers, he shook his hands cooling them before he would continue walking, he didn't see other drones as he started to transform into Firestorm a bright flash of orange light concealed him as he transformed so anyone looking for him could not see him, he would rush back to the drone he had set on fire there in the charred remains was the proof he needed to know that someone was watching him he saw a tech design logo, "Hmm I doubt this is a tech company drone something more high tech has come to the city" he said as he noticed something odd about the drone, it seemed to be a drone capable of firing weapons but what kind of weapons made him curious, as he looked around for Enceladus to speak to her to see if she even knew anything about this, sure she was a villan and probaly not worth talking too but he had to try to this was a concern for the city not that she would care about the city, as it was due for a change most of the city was older and costantly needed to be repaired, the newer part was not much better as it had it's issues like blocking some vital sunlight on small parks and very tall skyscrapers that he personally hated as they ruined the views of the city.

Mark entered the indicated room, and was cooly greeted by a man he judged to be around his mid to late fifties, who was sitting at a desk which’s prestigious order contrasted starkly to the rampant disorganization that held Skasgards desk in constant dictatorship. His neutral yet in charge tone and carefully chosen closed conveyed the carrying one of a true diplomat that knew his areas, yet if one observed him close enough it was apparent that this man had won many a fist fight. From the corner of his eye Mark noticed that a handgun was attached to his belt. Stepping forward briskly, he reached out his hand towards the man. “Mister Zardon, I presume? I am Mark Jennings, ID code 306, and I was informed by commandant Skasgard that ‘em you requested my prescience to fill a short notice position?” Zardon stood and in turn offered his hand as well. “I am very well aware of who you are. You are quite correct, I have summoned you in hopes that you temporarily and perhaps permanently fill a spot left open by another agent. You do, in fact, speak Russian?”, he quired with a dogged interest as he sat back down. “I do.” Mark decided trying to hide his ability was useless and would lead Zardon not to trust him . A trace of a smile flickered across the older man’s solid features“Good. Skasgard assured me you did, but with that askew minded man one can never be sure. I am sure I can trust you, Agent Jennings.” Mark maintained eye contact. “You can entrust me with whatever task you might, sir,and I assure you I will do my best to fulfill it.” “Good, good. You are an intelligent man, Jennings, and I can only express my hopes that you will not fail me. Now, directly to my point,” he pulled a stack of paper out of one of his drawers and carefully laid it on the desk. Glancing towards the door once more, he continued. “Agent Jennings, how much do you know of project CarybdoScorpious?”

Juliana looks up at the sky, through the pelting hail. It seemed that these drones were suddenly coming out of nowhere. This was something that she didn't understand. She slips into the shadows, as she watches three more, shiny, black drones buzz through the sky, seemingly scanning close to the ground......looking for something. As she stands there, with her back pressed against the cold bricks, of a large, office building, she turns her head, at the sound of flames, sizzling, and sparking. "So he's here...is he?" She asks. Only one person here, that she knew of, had the ability to produce fire. She knew that his name was Tj, but she always addressed him as Firestorm. Narrowing her eyes, she slips into the shadows, emitting a blue light, until she was now Enceladus. If Firestorm was here, then she might as well show her face. Stepping out again, she looks up, raising up her hand, to freeze a few more drones. Eventually as she walked down the street, she spots Firestorm. Coming up to him, she stops a fair distance away. They were mortal enemies, so they had fought each other, multiple times, each time, they were taking turns, coming out on top. "I take it, that you have seen the arrival of these drones?" She asks, her voice low with suspicion. She didn't think that he was behind the drones, but she was on edge, because....not only were there so many, but it did seem, that some of them were armed.

Firestorm noticed Enceladus approuching his eyes fixed on her, "Yes I have noticed them flying around I think there military drones of some kind but I didn't know drones could control the weather" Firestorm said as hail continued to pelt them melting as soon as they hit him, he was not impressed by these drones they were annoying him a lot to the point that he wanted to set them ablaze, he looked up as one flew overhead he didn't think twice as he set it on fire and watched with a smile as it crashed to the ground his fire could only melt so much of the drone it left only charred remains in it's wake, he then felt the sting of something hit his back he winced in pain but ignored it his eyes now focused on the sky as drones circled them too many for his liking, he noticed that his enemy was also weary this was not her doing he thought it wasn't as he knew her style drones were not them she and him prefered to meet in combat not use tech, this was a new threat one he did not like and wanted to avoid anyway possible, he looked closer at one of the drones he noticed a odd id code on the drone it was for some goverment agency one he didn't know much about other then they had one reason to use them and that was to observe and report what they saw, he knew this was bad as his father was still out there searching for him with his lackeys big brutes he never wanted to see, it was only his adoptive mother and her family that had kept him safe.
