Glitch

Glitch would look back at Shift as he disappered out of her view "Goodluck Shift...and please don't comeback for me no matter what" Glitch said as she was forced into a blacked out warehouse, "Hmm so it seems the legend is true Shifter is real" Cobalt said as he drove towards Glitch who was unable to reverse in any way, he brought out a sharp blade like tool which he then used to scratch Glitch's left door and fender, "I am going to enjoy hearing you tell me your story about how you disappered Shifter" said Cobalt as he held the blade right at her engine bay which was vital for there survival, "My name is not Shifter it never really was I am Glitch a former theif turned artist now on the run for a crime she never commited" Glitch said trying to keep him from damaging her engine in any way, "You ..on the run don't make me laugh supercars are treated like royalty you must have done something really wrong to get on there bad side" Cobalt said as he retracted the blade and then talked into his communication device to someone Glitch didn't know, "I have here right here ...ready for reprograming...she woun't run not if she knows what is good for her and the other illegals" Cobalt said well he looked at Glitch, this worried Glitch reprograming was bad it meant they would strip every inch of her personality and replace it with a submissive personality, she could do nothing to break free from there hold on her "Please..NO...I WILL OBEY STOP...I DON'T WANT TO BE REPROGRAMED" Glitch said before getting hit with another electrodart, she started to black out before being loaded back on Steel against her will she could do nothing to contact the others to warn them her electronics were fully shut down that included her engine and ability to move.

Shift

Shift would pull out of his hiding place as Drift gave the all clear "Whew that was close...thanks Drift I owe you" Shift said as he drove down the road a bit with Drift beside him, "Ravage..is waiting for us I assume Glitch was captured by Cobalt..based upon the fact that your alone" Drift said as the drove off to meet Ravage unaware of the situation that Glitch was now in, "Drift...she told me to save you two...I feel terrible for leaving her with that snake" Shift said as they made there way to the meeting spot with Drift leading as Shift was without any of his electronics, they drove towards Ravage she seemed glad to see them although the dirt on her body said otherwise, "Where is Glitch is she not with you Shift..I thought I ordered you to look out for her" Ravage said with a rev of her engine, "Cobalt has her...I don't know what happened to her but my guess is Cobalt is bound to try and reprogram her into being his slave...so he can force her to do things against her will*" Shift said as he thought back to the time Cobalt almost did it to him, "That low down snake we need to find Steel and save Glitch...Shift your with me and Drift you stay here I need to take the electrodart out from Shift we don't need company" Ravage said as she drove off with Shift right behind her, she looked at Shift as she turned to face him "yeah that is pretty deep hold still Shift this will most likely hurt" Ravage said as she pulled out the dart from Shift's hood, "That's better thanks Ravage anyways Glitch's dart should wear off soon maybe we can get a signal from her gps" Shift said as a small weak dot appered on the screen inside of them all, "She must have been hit by a second dart her signal should be strong and she should be able to reach us" Drift said as they all started to discuss a plan of attack Redline drove towards them.

*The illegal things I am talking about are theft, robbery, sabotage any crime that does not involve death really*

Glitch

Glitch would start to wake up everything was a bit hazy but it soon cleared, "I hope Ravage and the others are on there way I can't let them touch my sensative electronics to reprogram me..I already promised to give up my life as a theif I can't return to that life not after my last job" Glitch said as she then had a flashback to her last day at a theif, "Shifter..are you sure you dealt with the guards there waking up" said Revolt her former partner "It was a set up Revolt get out of here I will deal with them and do not come back for me at all" Shifter (Glitch) said as she then remembered driving away from the guards and escaping until they connered her and Revolt, "NO DON'T SHOOT .." Shifter had said before she saw her partner die and drove off not daring to look back, "Revolt I am so sorry ...I will get revange on the one who set us up...there is nowhere they can hide" Glitch had said as she drove off before vanishing into the city only to resurface as Glitch the artist now a fugitive from the law and with new freinds who were now going to hunt Steel down to free her.

*That is why Glitch gave up becoming a theif the death of her partner in crime*

Shift

Shift and the others were nervous as Redline approuched them but they didn't drive off "What do you want ...your not here to arrest us are you" Shift said getting ready to drive off if they needed to, but Redline stayed quiet "No..I am not here to arrest anyone I need your help...my partner Rookie he disappered last communication I got from him I detected the voice of the fugitive known as Glitch then it cut off I fear he and Glitch are in grave danger" Redline said his voice sounded serious he did nothing to cause them alarm, "why should we trust you Redline...you will probaly just arrest Glitch as soon as she is found" Ravage said with a rev of her engine she didn't trust Redline and neither did he and Drift but kidnapping a officer of the law was serious there was no way he would joke about that, "I am not going to arrest her ...l came unarmed to seek your help..please I am desprate no one knows about this" Redline said he the drove off to let them discuss if they should trust him or not, Shift felt sorry for Redline he wasn't a bad cop in reality he was one of the few good cops left not on Cobalt's payroll, "Hear me out I think we need to trust him ...I can detect sadness in his voice he really is desprate...he wouldn't seek our help lightly a cop like him is hard to trust" Shift said trying to convince Drift and Ravage they needed to help Redline, "Okay...Shift fine I hate to see anyone begging for help...even cops" Ravage said, then Drift spoke "I still don't trust him but if what he said is true there not going to be reprogramed no there going to be killed by the Dayz gone gang" Drift said as they all drove over to Redline.

Glitch

Glitch then felt someone else in the trailer it was too dark to make out who they were but they looked like a undercover police officer, "Hey..HEY CAN YOU HEAR ME" she yelled to the other car in the trailer who she could barely make out, he was still out they must have given him a stronger dose of the electrodart Glitch thought as she gently tapped him with one of her tires trying to wake him up, ".....ugh...what happend" the other car finally said as he started to wake up after Glitch gently tapped him with one of her tires, she was stunned she knew who this was or at least her past did "Blackout...is it really you..what happened to you" Glitch asked him, he seemed confused "Blackout..been a long time since I heard that name I'm Rookie now who are you exactly" Rookie said as he finally started to realize where they were, "I'm Glitch perhaps you have heard of me and as for that question Cobalt kidnapped us although I don't know why" Glitch said as she explained how she got to this point, "I don't really remember much before ending up here but I knew I had been found out after trying to infiltrate Cobalt's crew then hit with a electrodart after I gave my partner a recording" Rookie said, this worried them both as it was very clear something very wrong was about take place one that had nothing to do with being reprogramed, "I hope our freinds and your partner find us soon I don't know how much longer we have before we meet whatever the Dayz gone crew has planned for us" Glitch said.

Shift

Shift would drive behind Ravage as she lead them to a place out of the view of any curious city folk they turned there lights on as they entered a abandoned warehouse, "I guess you have a plan in mind Ravage ...unless your letting me come up with a plan to rescue them" Redline said as he searched through his database for anything that might help them catch Steel or find a location where he might bring them both, "We need to split up and search the city high and low call anyone you know to help as it is vital we find them" Ravage said as she took off towards the north end of the city then Drift drove to the east leaving him and Redline to search the west and south end of the city, "I will take the south end if that is okay with you I have a few informats down there that might know something" Redline said to Shift who just said "That's fine with me I love the western part of the city" Shift said as he and Redline both drove off, Shift started to get a faint signal as he drove on the highway at a high rate of speed down the highway, "I think I have found them but I am going towards the signal to investigate if you don't hear from me please come find me" Shift said into his communication system which everyone searching for Steel heard, "Be careful Shift..Steel is very dangreous he woun't think twice about forcing you off the highway" Ravage said as he started to close the distance on the signal, he felt a sudden severe pain strike his engine bay paralyzing him for a few minutes as he was forced to listen to whoever had striked him, "Nice for you to come and try and attempt a rescue Shift but that won't be nesscary" said a member of the Dayz gone crew that must have been flanking Steel, he groaned in pain "You will pay for that...ah that hurts so bad" Shift said as he managed to pull onto a shoulder despite the pain he was in from whatever weapon was fired at him.

Glitch

Glitch would hear a familer sound "That sounded like Shift..one of my freinds but I can't be sure this trailer blocks a lot of sound" Glitch said as she heard Shift speaking to someone but she could not make out what was said, "ugh no use Glitch even I can't make out the voices but I do know you were not lying about your freind" Rookie said as he also listened to the voices, there was a loud sound then a car accelarating past the trailer which was pulled by Steel, "Shift must have been struck by some kind of object deployed by that mystery car I can't hear him anymore" Glitch said as she heard Shift suddenly break and pull off of the highway, "Don't worry Glitch were going to be alright I just know it if I could become a officer of the law then you can change your own fate too" Rookie said as they tried to keep themselves from thinking the worst about there current situation, all of a sudden they felt Steel slow down and then felt the trailer turning like they were heading for a exit on the highway.

Shift

Shift would call into the others "I found Steel and the trailer but it is guarded by some members of the Dayz gone crew I can't continue the pursuit as I got hit by some kind of weapon I might have damage to my engine" Shift said as he was stuck on the shoulder unable to do much of anything, "I'm on my way Shift do you know where you are on the highway" Redline said to Shift who still could not move, "I think I'm somewhere between the Bel air district and the old racetrack" Shift said he had activaited his hazard lights so Redline could see him on the shoulder of the highway, it wasn't long before the black suv came towards him and stopped "Which direction did they head Shift" Redline said, "towards the old racetrack I seem to remember a old abandoned warehouse is in the area" Shift said as he watched Redline take off down the highway towards where he said, he noticed a familer car stop and come towards him "Shift...what happened to you ..nevermind I will take you to my shop...ugh I just hope Snap has learned his lesson about racing too much" Dakota said, as she signaled to a tow truck to pick Shift up to take him to her shop it was a few minutes drive off the highway before Shift reached Dakota's shop, where he then saw a racer he used to know on a lift "Hp how are you old freind" Shift greeted him warmly as he waited for his engine bay to be looked at, "I'm doing alright Shift but I fear my time as a racer is about to end I might just finally settle down" Hp said from up on the lift, it was clear that Hp his old freind was done racing which Shift respected he had been a legend on the racing circuit and Shift knew his freind was done racing, "I understand Hp you have been racing for a long time I respect your choice" Shift said to his freind, he then saw Dakota drive towards him "You took a really bad hit Shift I have the parts to fix you but please next time be careful I run a performance parts shop not a hospital for stupid young racers who think they can win everytime they set a tire on a track" Dakota said as she guided Shift to a waiting lift.

Glitch

Glitch and Rookie would feel the force of the turning trailer pulled by Steel then the trailer going straight again, "We must be heading to a remote location this road is certaintly very rough and uncomfortable" Glitch said as she could feel the trailer reacting to bumps on whatever road they were on, she noticed Rookie seemed to be counting the bumps the trailer hit as if he had been down here before, "I think I know where we are going ..this is bad...very bad were heading for Cobalt's favourite hideout the warehouse near the old racetrack" Rookie said to Glitch, she could tell by the way he had said that this was very bad for both of them, "hmm I might just have a escape plan in mind now listen carefully Rookie this plan is very complicaited" Glitch said to Rookie, as she visualized the escape plan that would work in theory she wasn't so sure about the results when it really happened, "Our electrodarts are about to wear off which is good as we need the use of our electronics for my plan to work" Glitch said as she felt power starting to surge through her again after being silent since she had first been in the trailer.

Shift

Shift would wake up after the repairs had been completed, "What do I owe you Dakota for the parts" Shift asked Dakota well one of her workers lowered the lift so Shift could get down, "You owe me nothing Shift ...although next time you get shot up find a repair shop" Dakota said as she drove off to her office leaving Shift to drive away from the performace shop, he would drive till he got to a isolated location to contact Ravage and Drift about what had happened to him before Dakota fixed him, "You mean that Cobalt had a armed guard with Steel this time" Drift said to Shift as he told them about getting shot by a unknown kind of weapon, "We really need to find Glitch and Rookie before Cobalt does something awful to them" Ravage said as she turned in to a empty lot which at one point used to be very busy now it sat vacant, it was near Shift and the late to arrive Drift who parked beside Ravage in the vacant lot, "I wish we could find them but Redline went after them I only hope he is okay as that guy had good aim it was lucky they missed a piston when they shot at me" Shift said, as they all tried to think of a way to catch up to Redline who was currently chasing Steel and the trailer.

Glitch

Glitch would explain the plan to Rookie being careful not to include anything risky, as they were on there own unable to contact anyone well they were still in the trailer, "So let me get this straight Glitch you want to use our lights to blind our captors well we make our escape from them" Rookie said as they felt Steel come to a stop and then the trailer turning again and driving straight again for a few feet then completly stopped, "Yes Rookie our lights are bright enough to do that trust me I had to do it before but we have ten minutes before they can see again so drive off as soon as you can" Glitch said as she got ready to put her plan in motion, she could hear the sounds of a siren it had to be Redline she was sure of it he had found them but was he able to take out the armed guard Glitch wondered, as she heard Redline speak "You are under arrest for kidnapping and attempted murder oh I see you have a warrant out for you too if it is not my lucky day pal" Redline said to the armed guard who had shot Shift, it then became very quiet until a tap on the trailer caught there attention, Glitch would drive up to the door it was too thick to try escaping through as the trailer door was very thick, "Redline if you can hear me can you unlatch the trailer somehow" Glitch said as she waited for a reply, she suddenly felt like they were no longer alone in the trailer, a cold cruel voice seemed to come from the side of the trailer which had a small open door, "Leave the cop...we take her with us...she is our ticket out of here they wouldn't dare try and harm us with a hostage" the voice said to Glitch only, she didn't know who this was but they sounded like they were crazy.

Shift

"I think Ravage should go after Redline she is much faster then us and knows the area better" Shift said to them both, it was a pretty tense moment between the three of them before Drift spoke, "Yeah she should go I agree with Shift your much faster then us Ravage and plus Glitch trusts you" Drift said as they watched Ravage's vanishing tail lights, they looked around to see a strange car coming towards them with there lights on they looked like someone you didn't wanna mess with, "What are you two looking at get out of here before I call the law on you" said the car, they each exchanged a look and then left the area behind completly, "Oh Shift I forgot to ask you how is Dakota...has she mentioned me at all lately" Drift said which made Shift laugh a little, "She is fine but she doesn't miss you Drift ...personally I think she is happy just being our freinds nothing more" Shift said, as they drove side by side down a four lane street talking about the good old racing days, "Man I can remember the first time I saw Dakota she was so fast gave me a run for my horsepower that's for sure I was only seconds behind her" Drift said as he started to think about Dakota who used to be a former street racer and had once been Drift's girlfreind until they broke it off, "I hear you there Drift...I was never fast enough to catch her or you for that matter...still I can't stop thinking about Glitch ...she is so beautiful I wonder what a girl like her is doing talking to cars like us were outcasts" Shift said as he remembered the first time he had seen Glitch in the city, she had a sunset colour scheme back then rather then Ravage's black and gold colour scheme which she now wore, "Glitch might not have been so good in her past Shift I heard rumours that she was once a theif probaly the best in the city" Drift said as they turned off the street to Drift's house.

Glitch

Glitch would exchange a look with Rookie before she turned her highbeams on illuminating the trailer completly, "Ahh so bright ...Cobalt I can't see" said one of the Dayz gone crew members, "Nevermind the highbeams just get her she is important to my plan" Cobalt said in anger, it was then that Glitch saw movement behind her she thought it was either Redline or Rookie but it was neither of them, "Come on out Glitch don't make this diffacult...you see if you don't come out I am prepared to kill every runner in the city especially the one I hear is in love with you" Cobalt said to her, she turned off her highbeams and drove out of the trailer forced to follow Cobalt and the Dayz gone crew against her will for the sake of Shift and the other runners, "I can't let anyone die not if I can avoid it" Glitch said mainly to herself as she drove off, not even seeing Redline or Rookie who were already gone they hadn't seen her in Steel's trailer because she had put her highbeams on which illuminated everything around her but not herself, "Come into the warehouse Shifter or do you prefer Glitch either way it doesn't matter" Cobalt said as he sped off towards the warehouse in which Glitch soon joined him, "There is a old freind of mine I want him dead anyway possible you will do it or else every runner in this city dies if I see you hesitate or try and get out of it I will force reprogram you myself you got it" Cobalt said once he and Glitch were alone in the warehouse, she knew that sending cars to the scrapyard was against her code as a theif or former theif but she had no choice, she could not let herself be like one of Cobalt's slaves and plus she had to protect Shift,Drift and Ravage from Cobalt even if it meant going to the impound yard herself, she started to drive out of the warehouse when she spotted Ravage "GET OUT OF HERE ...GO ...Please" Glitch warned Ravage with sadness in her voice she knew Cobalt was nearby and would see Ravage at any minute.

Shift

Shift would look at Drift completly confused by what he had just said "A theif...really her no there is no way she is a supercar Drift a supercar they don't walk the crimnal life like we do" Shift said, as he thought back to the time Glitch used a device to change her apperance, "Shift ...think about it she knows how to disguise her apperance does that sound like a outstanding supercar to you" Drift would say to his freind who sometimes went by his nickname of Speedster, although Drift had no clue why that was his nickname, "I guess she could have been a theif but it doesn't matter there is no other car for me except her" Shift said as he started to play one of his favourite songs which he and Drift danced too, it reminded him of his youth as a novice runner he had been so naive back then and only truely cared for himself not anyone else.

Glitch

Glitch would hear the sounds of sirens but they were far away too far away to tell where they were heading, "Glitch I am not leaving you ...who knows what Cobalt will do to you..wait he spoke to you didn't he" Ravage said as she noticed how distraught the normally freindly super car was, "I...yes he spoke to me ...he wants to kill someone ..I can't do it but if I don't Cobalt will come after you all" Glitch said as they moved out of view from anyone watching them, "Let me guess it goes against your code of honor as a former theif" Ravage said well aware of who Glitch really was, "Yes it does...I knew my past would come to light eventually then you know what happened to my partner and best freind Revolt" Glitch said as she thought back to her freind's death which never should have happened, "Yes I do know about that Revolt used to be a runner you know that ...she was my cousin" Ravage said as she examined Glitch noticing the fresh damage to one of her fenders and the left door, she knew that Glitch was tough and would probaly be fine despite the damage but they had to find a way to free her from Cobalt and the Dayz gone crew Ravage thought as she looked at Glitch. "I need to go speak to the guys you need to be strong we will find a way to free you from Cobalt somehow" Ravage said as she left Glitch alone and drove off towards a meeting spot, Glitch would watch Ravage leave as she then noticed Cobalt was driving towards her but he was not alone there was a strange car beside him, they looked crazy and very insane like they wouldn't think twice about sending someone to the scrapyard, this was not good Glitch thought as the strange car seemed to stop as if he had detected something, "Ah yes Shifter ...I am well aware of her past as a theif she will be a great test subject for my new hypno chip...shame she won't be able to warn anyone" the strange car said and before Glitch knew it she was completly paralyzed and unable to drive off in any direction and could no longer communicate with Ravage and the others to warn them about her changing situation, "This won't hurt her will it not that I care but I would love to see Shifter stay mostly undamaged when she returns" Cobalt asked the strange car, he seemed even more crazy when he spoke "No it won't hurt her much I just attach it to her engine block and besides she is completly paralyzed so she won't feel it at all" the strange car said as he placed a strange device in Glitch's engine bay and closed her hood well giving Cobalt a evil smirk .
