Shift

Shift would look at Drift they would hear the sound of Ravage coming towards them she seemed frantic, "You two listen to me and listen good ...this affects all runners not just us" Ravage said as she turned off the music that Drift and Shift were listening too, "Glitch is in grave danger she said to me that Cobalt threatened to kill all runners if she did not kill someone for him we need to find a way to free her or stop this from taking place you got me" Ravage said with a rev of her engine which seemed to echo, "How can we stop this from taking place we don't even know the target of who she needs to kill" Drift said as he looked at Shift and then Ravage, it was then that Shift knew who they were after to kill, "I have a theory for that question there after Edge the former city mayor he used to run with Cobalt and his crew back before anyone ever heard of us" Shift said as he looked between Drift and Ravage, "Are you sure Shift if that's the case we need to alert Redline and Rookie there the only ones who will listen to us ..Charge just doesn't care" Ravage said to Shift mainly in a whispered tone, "Yeah I'm sure ...it's the only target that makes sense" Shift said, it was then that Drift got in contact with Rookie via a secure communication channel, "Edge are you sure that's who Cobalt's after ...if that's the case then I will alert Redline" Rookie said over the coms, "Yes I am very sure...as he has Glitch our freind as a hostage ...Cobalt is going to force her to kill Edge" Shift said to Rookie who now seemed to get the message that this was serious, "I will contact Redline right away he should know where Edge lives" Rookie said as he signed off of the coms.

Glitch

Glitch could feel a change in her whatever that device was she could not fight it the effects were too strong, "Give her a few minutes it will take effect soon then I will remotely feed her the information through the device" said the strange car as they drove off leaving her and Cobalt alone, she could not look at Cobalt he was responsible for what would happen not her once they found the device under her hood, "See you soon Glitch in the mean time enjoy your last few minutes of freedom from control" Cobalt said before he drove away leaving Glitch to herself she could feel her grasp on herself starting to slip away, "Shift...Ravage...Drift...Rookie...Redline ...I can't harm them I won't let them" Glitch said as she started to feel the device gain control over her systems, her apperance changed revealing her orignal apperance before she had copied Ravage's design, "Perfect she is ready to kill that former freind of yours he won't see it coming" the strange car said before Glitch was loaded onto Steel's trailer, "Be gentle with her Steel..I don't want a damaged assassin you hear me" Cobalt said to the silver semi who was hauling the trailer, "You know I always am Cobalt sure the terrain can be rough but for you I will go the distance to ensure her safety" Steel said, before he pulled out of Cobalt's hideout and made his way towards Edge's residence with Glitch in the trailer unaware of the real reason why she was heading there.

Shift

Shift would drive towards Edge's house with Ravage and Drift behind him they were going to meet Rookie and Redline there to discuss how to handle this situation without risking any lives at all even Glitch's, they arrived within twenty minutes with a suprised Edge meeting them, "Cobalt...now why would he want to harm me I haven't done anything" Edge said unsure why there were two police cars and three civillans at his house, "Edge we have reason to order your immediate evacuation as Cobalt has threatened your life by using a super car as a assassin" Redline said to Edge, it was then that they heard a familler truck starting to pull up to the house and saw Steel and his familler trailer, "Rookie escort him somewhere safe and take these three former runners with you" Redline said to the black camaro who obeyed his order, Shift and the others would follow Rookie even though they all wanted to save Glitch from Cobalt, "You really think Redline can save Glitch ...I mean Cobalt has already damaged her what's to say he hasn't created a kind of mind control chip" Shift said starting to get worried about Glitch's safety, which annoyed Ravage "Shift I am sure she is fine that super car is pretty tough she would have to be in really bad shape to not fight" Ravage said to Shift who was really nervous and scared for Glitch who had been held captive since Cobalt jumped them.

Glitch

Glitch would reverse down the ramp being careful not to damage herself further, she could not see her target anywhere had they already moved him she thought as she drove in a cautious circle around Edge's house, she then heard the strange car's voice through her communication system "That's good Glitch now attach the device to the side of the house and leave" the strange car said, which she then obeyed but not before Redline found her, "Glitch are you okay...is someone watching you give me a sign if you can" Redline said to her she tried to flick her headlights on and off but nothing happened, "I ..umm I have to go ...Cobalt is expecting me to return" Glitch said to Redline, "I understand Glitch but please be careful Cobalt is not to be trusted he is like a mustang in a monster truck's body he will crush you without a care in the world" Redline said letting her leave, but not before he noticed wires poking out from Glitch's hood, "Stay still Glitch I can get these off of you" Redline said to Glitch fully aware that she was being controlled by someone, "O--Okay just please don't say anymore ...Cobalt and this stranger are watching me closely" Glitch said as she forcefully opened her hood revealing a mind control device to Redline who then ripped it off of her, "Thanks Redline I owe you one now to go back to my prior disguise" Glitch said as she changed back to the black and gold apperance, she then saw the device on the side of the house she had planted well under control, "Redline...get everyone away from here now I think I just planted some type of explosive device" Glitch said noticing numbers on the device they had less then five minutes to get out of the area.

Shift

Shift would look at Rookie he seemed concerned but by what as far as he knew Glitch had been ordered to kill someone not do anything else at least that's what Shift thought, "Rookie what is going on are we in danger please talk to us" Drift said to the police camaro, "I--umm well we need to leave the area and now Redline and that super car Glitch just found a explosive device" Rookie said, of course this was news to everyone but mostly Edge the former mayor of the city, "No I refuse to leave I want that super car to pay for any damages to my house" Edge said well Rookie tried to get him to leave without success, "Glitch is not responsible sir she was forced to do this against her will...I know the real her and she would never do something like this" Shift said trying to tell Edge the former mayor that the supercar was not the real villan here, "Fine I will leave but do not expect me to say nice things about a outcast like her in fact I wonder what the others will say" Edge said as he finally left along with Rookie and the other former runners, although Shift refused to leave until he knew that Glitch was safe, "Shift come on I am sure Redline will protect Glitch from harm we have to leave now" Ravage said gently to him he sighed and eventually drove after them waiting for the loud explosion he knew was coming.

Glitch

Glitch and Redline would drive away from the house just as the explosion started, "Whoa that was close ...let it be said ...I had no idea that was Cobalt's plan all along" Glitch said as they drove a safe distance away from the unstable house, "You do realize you have warrants out on you right" Redline said to Glitch, "Yes..I know but I fear if I turn myself in now I will be the target of a attack" Glitch said looking at Revhub where she had a account where she posted her art pieces she made to sell, she already saw some worrying messages on Revhub they were mostly hurtful comments except for this one, "If I see her in real life I will send her to the scrapyard myself" said one of the comments on her latest post, "Yeah I can see that Glitch ...the impound yard might be safe but ...cars can bend the system I think it is safe for you to be free for now" Redline said as he heard Charge and the police dispatch talking about the threats, "are you sure Redline I mean I am a wanted car ...it would look bad on you to not arrest me and bring me to the impound yard" Glitch said unsure how to deal with this new threat on her life, if she even had one at this point with cars jumping to her as the villan behind the bombing of Edge's house, "I mean it Glitch I can't protect you from them all it is better you stay on the run for now with Shift and the others" Redline said letting her drive off to join Ravage,Shift and Drift at a meeting spot they had sent her.

Shift

Shift was glad to see that Glitch was okay but that changed when she told them about the death threat, "My life is in danger ...I swear Cobalt did this after Redline removed the device that controled my systems ..it means that runners and now supercars will be hunting me" Glitch said as she drove up and joined them, "First we need to fix the damage Cobalt did to you Glitch" Shift said knowing full well that Dakota would help them as she never refused a car in need, "I will take her Shift ...besides Dakota told me unless you are severly damaged she will not help you" Ravage said as she escorted Glitch to Dakota's shop leaving Shift and Drift alone, "Dude what did you do to Dakota I have never seen her so mad" Drift said to him well they kept a look out for any unsavoury cars in the area, "she just said that she runs a performance shop not a car hospital I don't know what I did to anger her" Shift said it was then that something clicked, "That was not Dakota that sent that message to Ravage we need to warn them" Shift said it was then that they found themselves face to face with two members of the Dayz gone crew, "Your going nowhere Shift or shall I call you Speedster..Drift either for that matter" one of the Dayz gone crew members said to them blocking there path to save Glitch and Ravage, this made Shift angry he wanted to save them both and decided to do something crazy, he saw what looked like a ramp it was solid and would support his weight he reversed and lined up with the ramp before he accelarated and leaped over them both with a little thud .

Glitch

Glitch would drive towards the shop unaware something was wrong, "Ravage are you sure she is here I don't see her or anyone for that matter" Glitch said turning on her headlights to sweep the area, "What do you mean Glitch ...I am positive she is here unless she went to visit Snap at the impound yard" Ravage said completly confused by what Glitch said until she entered the shop herself, "umm Ravage we might have company very soon I see lots of cars coming this way" Glitch said as she saw the reflection in her mirror, "your not going anywhere Shifter ..I saw what you did to Edge's house" said a angry super car who was the closest to them, "Glitch stay close to me I don't know what Edge said but clearly these cars got the wrong message" Ravage said as she blocked the supercar's path from attacking Glitch, "Ravage get her inside now these cars are like animals I can't risk them harming my clients" Dakota said as she drove over to join them and shut the garage door, when both of them were inside it was then that they came face to face with Cobalt, "nice touch with the message Revolt maybe saving your life was the right idea" Cobalt said as a car Glitch knew very well drove up beside Cobalt but they looked so diffrent.

Shift

Shift then drove off heading for Dakota's shop and tried to loose the Dayz gone crew member that clung to his rear, he drifted around the streets until his tail was caught off balance and got lost on the streets without seeing Shift, he then drove over to Dakota's shop where he was met with a huge crowd of cars gathered around Urban performance, "How can I get through these crowds there huge and even if I did find a gap it might cost me some of my paint" Shift said as he drove around the outside of the gathered crowd looking for a opening big enough to squeeze through but it was no use the crowd was just too big, "this might be big enough to attract the law I better hide for now" Shift said as he pulled into a little alley just across from Dakota's shop and turned of his lights to blend in with the darkness that surrounded him, he then saw Charge the old cop was coming fast with his lights on and sirens blasting the once quiet air, he stayed quiet as Charge flew by him and towards the crowd at Dakota's shop he heard Charge say it looked like a black friday situation which he had to agree with it did look like that.
