Farjon thought that over. True, remaining in the city was a dangerous bussines indeed. However, he might as well stay here. He hadn't really been anywhere else, and if he was now a wanted man, then at least some training before going would definetly help his survival chances. He joined Cassius in trying to convince Cirdan to take his medicine. He himself had a great distaste for it, for his mother, overprotective as she had been had him drink down quite large amounts of it for much less serious injuries. "Be a man, drink it down.", he said with a small laugh. "The faster you take it down the faster you'll come round again."

Cirdan looks at Farjon and then points at Cassius. "But Ms. Cassius never takes it. I know she doesn't" he says. Cassius shakes her head slightly in response. "I know I don't kid. But I avoid taking it to make sure there's enough for everyone who really needs it. You know the guild relies on limited supply" she says. She could tolerate pain well enough that with most injuries she could just soldier through it. She had stitched herself up earlier today without anything for the pain. Though to prevent infection she'd probably have to have the stitches redone with sterile supplies this time. An infection could be deadly and was best avoided. Though she'd probably just collect the supplies and do it herself despite the guild having a few maesters who would be happy to assist her with that.

Farjon went along with whatever Cassius says. "She's right you know, she leaves it for you and the other children. If you won't do it for the pain, maybe do it as a sign of respect for her sacrifice.", he said jokingly, trying to lighten up the situation slightly. Needing medicine and being stuck in bed brought back some unpleasant nostalgia from when he had been that age. He glanced over at Cassius, whose wounds still seemed to be bothering her. "Here, after you take some, I'll get her to take some too if she redoes her stitches.", he said, winking at her as a sign to go along with what he was saying.

Cirdan looks between Farjon and Cassius for a moment before looking over to John who was still holding the vial of the milky white substance. He knew that he would need to take more than one to actually sleep like they wanted him to. But he wouldn't need to take as much as an adult would to induce sleep. Finally he relents. "Okay I'll take it" he says, taking the first vial from John. "Good boy." Cassius says, tousling his hair with one hand as John handed the child the second vial. Once he was asleep, John could set his bone and bound the leg with silk bandages and a makeshift splint. "He'll be taken care of. In the meantime, I'm going to see about getting a drink. You're welcome to join me if you wish" she says, glancing at Farjon. The supplies were limited, but the guild did have a somewhat stocked bar down here. It was a surprisingly lively place at times.

After a moment's consideration, Farjon nodded. He had never really been the person to drink a lot, but on some days he enjoyed a good drink. "Sure. You guys have a bar down here?" He was somewhat surprised at this, but decided to go along. He was about to go, but then turned to the older man. "I do have some experience in the medical field.", he said. "If you need me to help, I'll be happy to."

"With the lives we lead? We'd be hard pressed not to have a bar down here." Cassius says, opening up the door leading out from the children's quarters. There were many times after a long day where she found herself wanting a good stiff drink. John nods slightly. "I think I should have this covered for now, and I'm sure you two have had a long day as well. But I will most definitely keep that in mind. There are many times where I and maester Acrey could use a hand treating injuries. It's a perilous existence" he says as he hands Cirdan the second vial of the milky white substance. For now he just had to set the bone and bind it with a splint and silk bandages. They'd need to send another group out soon for more medical supplies. They went through those quite quickly.

Farjon agrees. "It is quite the good inovation." He then looked back at John. "Yes it is. I can say I've experienced that first hand, from the recipient's point of view at that. However I must admit that my mother treated a cold very much as one would treat tuberculosis.", he said with a dry smile before turning back towards the door. He had to admit that some ale really sounded appealing now. However, he reminded himself he shouldn't drink too much, for if by any chance he was to be chased down by some guards tomorrow, and hangover with a headache was the absolute last thing he needed.

Once they had both exited through the door, Cassius closes it behind them. "We don't have much selection as you might find in the bars in the heart of the city. But right now we've actually managed to get a good selection. A couple kinds of wine... waterdeep whiskey if you want something stiff. Ale of course. And probably a few other kinds. If we've got it, the barkeep will gladly pour you some" she says. She'd probably go for some whiskey herself. It was no painkiller, but it would loosen her up a bit so that she at least paid less mind to the pain when she eventually had to actually take proper care of the wounds she had sustained. Thankfully none were too severe. She hadn't broken any bones, just perhaps bruised a few ribs when she had been thrown into the cell. Those would heal on their own, and the rest of the wounds would just need to be cleaned and stitched. She'd be fine with time, just as she had been for years now.

"Oh that's fine with me. I'm not exactly particular. I've never actually drank much. To give you an idea, I could count the times on my fingers, though up to this point I do prefer ale. I can't say I have much expertise in that area though. Maybe I'll try the wine..." He looked out a small window onto the dark city. "This cities pretty large.", he mentioned. "That's probably why the guild remains hidden so well. Aren't any of you worried that someone might betray you one day? For most people the desire for money and wealth outweighs their sense of what's right or their sense of honesty."

"Wine or ale would probably be the best option if you don't drink often. The whiskey is a lot stronger." Cassius says, pulling her coin purse from the pocket of her trousers. They somehow hadn't taken that when they took her longsword and her dagger, must have missed it. But that meant she could still pay for a couple of drinks. "With most people, I would be wary of betrayal. I have been betrayed in the past. But these people? No, I do not fear they will betray me. We are all very different people, but there's one thing we all have in common. We've all been hurt by the monarchy in some way or another. And now we're the closest thing to a community we have" she says.

"Well, in that case, you are very safe from traitors." Farjon admitted, wondering just how many betrayals Cassius had experienced. "If so many people have betrayed you, why would you trust me? I mean, I haven't exactly been hurt by the monarchy." Farjon began reasoning with himself. No, he wasn't second guessing himself, he was just re clarifying to himself why exactly he had left the king's court. That was also his reason to join the guild.

"Well... for one thing, you broke me out of the dungeons despite knowing full well that I'm a wanted woman, and despite knowing a death sentence hangs over my head. Doing that puts your life in jeopardy too. You betray me and you'll be caught and executed too. I highly doubt you'd want to risk that." Cassius replies. She didn't trust blindly. But she had reason enough to suspect he wouldn't turn on her. If not out of loyalty like those in the guild then out of a sense if self preservation. Whether he liked it or not, he was in the eyes of the law one of them now.

Farjon chuckled slightly. "Yeah, your right there. I probably wouldn't run the risk unless I found that was moraly the correct thing to do. Well, its getting late, I suppose we might as well go down and have a drink before morning dawns.", he joked, running his hand through his pocket in search for some means of paying for the drinks. Ah, his small sack of coins was still there. He had half expected to lose it on their flight from the castle.

"Won't be long before the morrow comes. Best try and get some rest after a drink or too." Cassius says, taking a seat at the bar. A good stiff drink definitely sounded lovely. It had been a long day and an even longer week. "A glass of waterdeep whiskey please. And wine for him" she says, glancing at Farjon for confirmation that he still wanted to try the wine. The barkeep turned around in surprise at the familiar voice. Word had reached the guild of her capture, but most were just finding out now she had been broken out.

Farjon nodded at the barkeeper. He was getting rather tired, and after a drink he would probably find himself a place to sleep. In his book, today had been a very unusual and eventful day, and there was no telling what the morrow would bring. He remembered vaguely that the sky had clouded up as they ran through the forest, so maybe it would rain the next day. He sat down and leaned his head against his hand looking at the wood knot patters on the wooden bar, then blew his hair away and lifted his head. "What time is it?", he asked as the barkeeper filled their drinks. He had no idea what time it was, but it was probably very late already.
