Suddenly Viking saw her. She peering over her stall door seemingly engaged in a conversation with some other mares. She was dark and had a small white spot on her forehead, she was also smaller, at least than he was, most likely a bit younger than he. Viking hesitated a moment, debating with himself whether or not he should talk with the young mare. He shook his head, “no, wait a bit, she only came here a couple of days ago after all.” This didn’t stop him though from arching his neck a bit more and raising his tail higher hoping for at least the slightest notice from her. His owner looked back and patted him briefly on the neck, “that’s better, boy,” he said approvingly noticing that his horse’s mood had lightened somewhat. Viking ignored him. Soon they neared the outdoor arena. This was a very familiar place for him as he had spent hours training here alternately between his owner and the trainer. “Alright, you ready Viking,” he said absentmindedly as he moved over to his horse’s left side. Viking flicked an ear back at him then turned it forward again. But as soon as the man settled his boot in the stirrup and threw his weight forward for the swing upward Viking immediately felt the horrible sensation return. He couldn’t help but swing his head sideways, he just missed the man’s leg. “Viking!” the rider said sternly, though that wasn’t the first time the horse had tried biting him, the man sighed, “you just have too much pent up energy, let’s see if we can get some of that out of you, huh boy?” he gave the horse a forgiving pat on the neck. Viking huffed and stamped his hooves feeling horribly uncomfortable.

Looking over at Echo, Ebony could see that she was different from the rest of them. She had a different coat and she was not of a fancy pedigree. But she seemed like a nice horse and her uniqueness would definitely add something to the stable, which was clearly full of horses, that were pureblooded, all the way through. "It's very nice to meet you, Echo. I hope that you feel welcome here," She says. "Don't mind Bree. She is prideful of her breed, but she is really nice, I promise," She says. Even though Bree could be a bit more boastful, she was always very nice. She was helpful with schooling new show jumpers, as she had seen. She was always very patient and sometimes stern, when she needed to be. She had never heard of the breeds, that made up Echo, but she really had a look that would be very eye-catching for the others. Noticing that another horse was looking over at her, Ebony turns her head. Based on the way that he carried himself....it looked like he was trying to get her to notice him. She flicks her ears at him, in a calm, friendly way, before returning her attention to Echo.

Wolf would hear the conversation but had no clue what was being said he looked over his stall door then decided to introduce himself anyways by unlatching his stall door carefully and then he walked over to the other side, he could see one gelding and lots of mares he stayed a bit away from them and started to speak to them "Hello my name is Wolf i'm a Missouri fox trotter" he said well looking around trying not to get noticed by any humans who were moving around the stable, as he stood there he noticed that one of the mares wasn't a pedigree not that it mattered to him he wasn't exactly standing out either with the harness marks all over him, he wanted to stay a bit longer but he knew if he stayed he could be in trouble, so he slowly walked back to his stall and relatched it with ease and tried looking like he had been in his stall all that time.

"It's very new here compared to what I'm used to. But I think I'll get used to it with time. Everyone I've met so far has been welcoming." Echo says. The stalls here were roomy as well, which was a relief after the cramped space in the plane and then her trailer. She turns her head slightly as she hears the sound of hoofbeats approaching. Another stallion it seemed. Though he retreated back to his stall before she could say anything. But she had a name to match to his face at least she supposed, even if there hadn't been a proper introduction. She could have sworn she felt his gaze linger on her for a moment. But she wrote it off as either being her imagination or simply because she looked very different from the other horses here.

Zodiac would rear up as he was lead down a trailer ramp the human who held his lead rope tried in vain to get him to settle down but he would not settle even as they walked him in a circle, "He won't settle down Maria he is too excited by everything" said the human leading him down the ramp to his owner Maria who had been with him ever since he was a yearling, "Give him to me I will calm him down you get his tack out and put it away" Maria said to the man who held his lead rope, he nodded as he handed Maria Zodiac's lead rope with his owner now holding his lead rope he calmed down and was lead into the stable with no issues at all, where he heard horses neighing to each other in greeting he was focused on Maria at the moment so he ignored the other horses for now as he was lead into his stall without issue then given one of his favourite treats as Maria took off his halter and lead rope and then closed his stall door, he waited till she left to eat the treat then introduce himself " Hello i'm Zodiac a azteca horse" he said to the other horses warmly, he then noticed a dark bay gelding next to him he looked familer but Zodiac could not be sure as he had seen so many other horses that looked alike before they kinda became a blurr to him.

Rune would look at Zodiac before speaking again "I forgot to tell you my breed i'm a Irish hunter I guess I forgot in my haste to introduce myself" Rune said as she looked at her latch, she then realized that Wolf had unlocked his stall somehow and tried to fiddle with her latch but then stopped knowing that might not be a good idea at the moment, she looked over at Neptune "Your a eventing horse aren't you I know based upon the old scars on your legs" Rune said to Neptune who seemed to be busy eating some hay from a hay net attached to his stall at the moment, she quietly waited for him to speak as the sounds of a rider speaking to there horse could be heard she had one ear turned in the direction where the voice was coming from and the other ear pointed towards the stall where Neptune was currently eating hay.

Satyr stood obediently still as the groom undid the latch and swung the gate to the field open. She followed him in and waited as he slid her halter off. He then leaped over the gate and after checking its security he walked away towards the barn with her halter over his shoulder. Satyr stood watching him a moment before flicking an ear in the opposite direction and walking away from the gate. No other horses were around at the moment and she paced nervously for a few minutes gathering her bearings. But soon she settled down, lowering her elegant neck and began to nibble at the grass swishing her silky tail in contentment.

Viking gnawed at the bit, he didn’t know how this was going to go, before him was about ten blue barrel set in a pattern and his goal was to race around them as quickly as possible. He shook out his mane and slapped his tail determined to do the best he could. Suddenly he felt the reins slap against his neck and he started forward, tossing his head in attempt to ease the rubbing against his back. He heard a click and picked up his pace, the first barrel approaching fast. Quickly he swerved around it using his powerful back legs as leverage and to keep him from getting off balance. He rounded another barrel with just as much speed but this time he accidentally knocked it over but he kept going even though the feeling on his back was bordering unbearable. His owner knew he could do better, “come on Viking,” he encouraged kicking the steed to greater speed and leaning forward a bit more. Again the quarter horse swung around another obstacle, this time he didn’t topple it but was close. Finally Viking couldn’t take it anymore, already his legs were flailing he twisted awkwardly underneath the saddle. Coming to a sliding stop his back legs kicked upwards and the rider was flung unceremoniously from his back. The man landed in an ungainly heap, his right leg stretched out in an unearthly position. Viking bucked a few more times before realizing the pressure had been lightened somewhat. He looked around quickly then realized what he had done.

Neptune would stop eating hay and walk towards the front of his stall and face Rune his one ear also flicked in the direction of the voice, "Yeah i'm a eventing horse it isn't easy as I have to be trained in three seprate events I dislike cross country the most though I don't like lots of water" Neptune said to Rune before he turned his head to look at Zodiac he seemed to recall seeing him before when he and Nicole participated in a eventing show in Mexico but he could not be sure it had been a while ago, he looked closer at Zodiac then he clued in to why he remembered the azteca horse "Hey I remember you Zodiac right that was a fancy dressage move you did in Mexico maybe we could train together if your owner and mine are okay with it" Neptune asked his neighbor who seemed focused on him rather then on Rune and the other mares who seemed just as curious about each other as they were about Zodiac and him.

As they talk with the others, both Bree and Ebony find certain horses, that they seemed to connect with, the best. Bree seemed to be intrigued by Neptune and Satyr, while Ebony was interested in speaking more with Echo. Although when she sees Zodiac, she found him to be quite intriguing. There were certainly quite a few unique breeds here. "Where are all of you from?" She asks. She wondered how many of them were local, and how many of them had to make long treks to get here. "Both me and Bree aren't too far from here, but we did need to be in a trailer, for a few days," She says. Because it was just the two of them, and they lived in the same place, they could both go in the same trailer, since it made transportation easier. She wondered if any of them had to come from the air, since there were times, where Bree would be gone for a long time, explaining that she traveled in a plane, along with other horses. She had yet to be in one of those planes, but she knew that eventually, that time would come for her, when her owner felt that she was ready for bigger shows.

"Ontario... I was born on a small farm there." Echo says. She wasn't sure exactly how long of a journey it had taken to get here, but the plane ride had definitely felt quite long. But that could have been simply because it was her first plane ride. The journey from the airport hadn't felt as long, and it probably wasn't. But then again, she was used to traveling by trailer. That was how she had gotten to all the local shows she had competeted in. The air here felt different, but not in a bad way. And the stables were definitely fancier than the places she was used to. But all the horses she had met so far seemed friendly.

Zodiac would look at Neptune before speaking to the mares "I come from a small ranch in New Mexico" he said before turning his attention back on Neptune, "I would like that very much Neptune" Zodiac said before turning his attention back on the mares who seemed very freindly and easy going, he then turned his one ear towards what was going outside "What on earth is going on outside" he said curiously, he couldn't see anything from where he was but to him it sounded like a owner or rider was having a disagreement with there horse possibly.

Viking stretched his neck towards the man wondering if he was fine. Suddenly he heard a shout from the stable, someone had evidently seen the occurrence and were calling out to others. A stable hand who had previously been raking at the gravel, promptly dropped his shovel and came running. Two more, a man and a woman burst out of the stable and were close behind him. As soon as they reached the rider the woman immediately began dialing something into her phone. Viking stepped closer, ashamed at what he had done. Quickly one of the men grabbed his reins and began leading him away. Viking resisted and looked back, ears pointed towards the moaning form of his rider and entire body rigid, “is he ok?” Viking hoped so. He hadn’t meant it, it just suddenly happened. He took one last glance back before finally allowing himself to be led away.

Wolf would hear the horses talking about where they were from he neighed loudly his answer knowing they could not see him nor hear him clearly from the opposite wing of the stable, "I'm from Ozark Missouri" he neighed loudly as he looked over his stall door he noticed something odd about the latch on his stall, it seemed to not latch all the way closed he wondered if when he closed his stall door that it had somehow broken as he relocked it but he wasn't sure as many other horses had stayed at these stables before, it could have been another stallion for all he knew as he studied the lock, he turned his head the other way he could hear sounds coming from outside he was curious but not alarmed as it could be anything outside from a downpour of rain to strong winds.

Satyr stared in shock at the riding arena across the pasture where a large bay quarter horse had been training with his owner. One moment the two seemed to be doing passably good and the next the man was laid sprawling on the ground. The horse was now being led away, back towards the barn and a few humans seemed to be tending to the man. She flicked her ears away a moment, debating with herself whether or not she should get back to grazing. She walked even farther away from the gate and the fence facing the arena. The sight had upset her, although it was true that riders were thrown all the time and it wasn’t that big of a deal, she just wasn’t used to seeing it. Eventually Satyr did settle down enough to once again lower her head and pick at the young green shoots.
