Songbird thought for a second, glancing back at Buttermilk. "Well if he wouldn't mind..." she trailed off. She did want to talk a bit with Buttermilk before the two crazy energy balls on four legs came racing over.

Midnight looked at her. “Its fine, if you really don’t want to, you don’t have to” midnight nickered. She nuzzled twilight slightly. “Im gonna get some grass to eat” she said softly before she trotted over to specks, nuzzled him and started to graze for a bit. “What’s up?” Specks asked. “Nothing much…” she looked at her sister and then specks. “I just…sometimes…I feel like twilight and I are drifting apart” she said a little bit to loudly. “Did I say that a bit loud?” She asked. Specks nodded slightly. “I’m getting kinda tired.” She lied, laying down on the snow

Twilight smiled back and nuzzled her, watching as Midnight trotted over to her mate to graze. She frowned. Midnight was acting a bit odd.. Songbird suddenly spoke up. "Mom, is it ok if I go see Buttermilk now?" she asked, glancing over at the stallion who had his head down as if grazing, but his teeth weren't moving. Twilight smiled. "Ok honey, you can" she said, nuzzling her gently, her eyes following her daughter as she cantered over to the stallion and slightly nuzzled him. Twilight smiled, then looked back towards Midnight. She frowned slightly, watching her sister almost listlessly nip at the grass. Despite herself, she found herself inching closer, and she was just close enough to catch her sister's words on the wind. She stiffened, her ears flattening. Why did she think they were drifting apart? How could she think that after everything they'd been through? She stood still, unsure of what to do. She didn't want to make her sister feel bad by revealing she'd heard it... but she had heard it. She opted for a relaxed approach. "Hey sis, mind if I lie down with you for a bit? I'm feeling pretty sleepy" she said casually, walking up to her.
Songbird nuzzled Buttermilk again as her mother's attention was taken up by her aunt. The stallion looked down at her, eyes gleaming with happiness. "You're mom's nice" he said suddenly, and she glanced up in surprise. "what did she say to you?" she asked curiously. "Oh she just wanted to know how we'd met, and when and important stuff that had happened in the past year with us" he said with a smile. "Oh! So she wasn't annoyed with you?" she said in surprise. His eyes widened. "Annoyed? Why would she be?" He asked, puzzled. "well she seemed a bit annoyed last time" she said uncertainly. " think she's fine with me now, if she ever wasn't" he sad with a slight laugh. she smiled, nuzzling him again. "Wait, why did you have to tell her what had happened? Didn't my father already?" she said suddenly. "Uhm... Well it was like the scary stuff, like the wolf attack, and when your dad knocked himself out" he said slowly, meeting her eyes. "So... she still doesn't know?" Buttermilk sighed and shook his head. "I thought Rusty should tell her, not me." he said softly. Songbird sighed. More drama incoming then, if Rusty dared show his face near Twilight after that... well then he had more backbone than most stallions.

“Oh, yea sure” midnight said, her heart slightly leaping. She rested her head on twilights back. “If you heard what I said..” midnight muttered. “I promise….I didn’t mean it. I just…something feels odd about me today. I don’t know” she nuzzled her sister. “I know we’re not drifting apart, I do, I think….I think with me being pregnant again, I’m just scared that something bad is going to happen again.” She admitted. “I’m sorry to dump all this on you.” She sighed. “You just understand” midnight nuzzled her sister again. “Specks, can you go round up beauty and nutmeg? It’s getting late.” She said. Specks nodded and trotted off to find his daughter and neice. Midnight let out a small breath of relief. “Twily, please. I’m gonna need you with me. For…I don’t know. I’m just scared for some odd reason” she said.

Twilight smiled and lay down, turning her head to converse with her sister. "It's ok Mid, I understand, you're scared. Of course you are, but I'm going to be right here for you this time, through this whole thing" she said gently, nuzzling her. She smiled at Specks as he trotted off to go find the fillies, hoping he would also think to find rusty who seemed to have disappeared. Turning back to her sister she nuzzled her again "Hey hey, i'm going to stay right here, i'm not going anywhere" she said gently.
(Sure! I just want to wait a bit bc Twilight will find out she's pregnant tomorrow. And also, you aren't planning on Midnight having twins again are you? I was wondering if Twilight should have twins... or if i should just go for a good basic foal or filly.)

(i think you should go with a basic foal, bc if she had twins and they both survived, Midnight would feel crushed, but shes your horse, so you do you lol)
Midnight smiled. "thanks Twily." she nickered. Specks came cantering back with Beauty, Nutmeg, and Rusty. "Hi mom" Beauty skidded to a hault in front of her. "dad said you wanted us to come over?" she asked. Midnight nodded, and she stood up. "yes, its getting late, so you need to eat and then itll be bed time." Midnight said, looking over at the setting sun. She bent her head to graze and ate till her belly became full. By that time it was dark and Beauty was settling down beside Specks. Stardust came trotting over. She still slept with them for now, but Midnight didn't know how much longer that would be. She nuzzled Stardust and settled in on the other side of Beauty

Twilight smiled and nodded, glancing up as hoofbeats sounded. Rusty trotted over and ay down beside her, Nutmeg beside him. A few minutes later, after Stardust, Songbird came trotting over, looking happy and settling down with a peaceful sigh beside her sister. Twilight looked over her family. Yes, she did belong once more. Sure it might take her a bit to get all the nicknames and all that down, but she had a mate and two daughters that loved her. What more could she want?

( if you want to have twins, do it, cause i may or may not have just had an idea. Midnight could take her family and try to leave lol up to you tho)
Midnight snuggled up close to her daughters and mate, slowly falling asleep. When she woke up the next morning, she yawned. It seemed to have snowed over night, so the grass from the night before was gone. Her family was up at this point as well. She looked around. "where is the best grass?" she asked. Beauty picked up her head. "this way!" she nickered. Midnight followed beauty with specks and stardust. When they got to the grass, Midnight instantly bent her head and began eating. What she didn't realize though, was that the grass was out of sight of her sister. Midnight was to preoccupied with eating and watching Beauty play tag with Stardust. Midnight looked up as more snow began to fall lightly. Beauty looked up as well, and started trotting around wildly, trying to catch a snowflake on her nose. Midnight laughed

(well i'm not sure... I was thinking of having her have a colt since ik rusty wants a colt. But then again, you're probably gonna be having a colt...)
Twilight woke up, getting to her feet and stretching as she looked around, surprised to have slept in so late. Goodness, even Midnight was up! She looked around, expecting to see her sister grazing nearby, but all she saw was the rest of the herd. Frowning slightly, she trotted off in one direction, searching for a family member to question.

(ok, thats fine, then all the memories of freckles could come rushing back to Midnight!)
Starlight was sorting out herbs with Oreo when she heard hoof beats. She looked up and saw her eldest sister. "Hi, Twily" she said. "If you're looking for Midnight, she's over that way" Starlight said, pointing in the direction she had seen her sister go.
Midnight grazed for a while longer. "Hey, I should probobly check on Twilight. Its getting late, and she's still asleep." Midnight said to Specks, not knowing her sister was actually up. Specks nodded and Midnight trotted off to where they had left Twilight. She skidded to a hault when she didn't see her sister. "Oh.." she muttered slightly. "Rusty must've gotten her up." She turned around again and trotted back to Specks. "she wasn't there" Midnight said. "Rusty must've gotten her up." he replied. Midnight nodded. "yea.." for some reason, she felt slightly hurt. She hadn't woken Twilight up in a while, so she was going to that day, but she was starving when she woke up and needed food, of course, she figured Twilight would still be asleep by the time she finished, but she wasn't, so now, Midnight just felt...slightly hurt.

Twilight smiled at the two mares, nuzzling her sister lightly "Thanks sis!" she said, wheeling and cantering off in the direction motioned. A few minutes later she saw Specks and Midnight grazing together, and slowed her pace to a trot. "Midnight! There you are!" she said when she was within range.

Starlight nodded, then she turned back to help Oreo.
Midnight looked up when she heard her name. "Hey" she nickered when Twilight came cantering over to her. "Sorry I didn't wake you up this morning, I was going to, but I was starving when I woke up so I came to get some food, when I went back to wake you up, you were gone. I guess Rusty woke you up today" she said. "The little foal didn't bother me much last night, if I'm being honest, I want to have a colt, but I think the girls want another sister" she said with a laugh "Hey, are you feeling alright?" she finally asked. "you slept quite late, and that isnt like you. The only other times you've slept late was when we were younger, or when you were pregnant" Midnight gazed at her sister. "wait a second...are you pregnant?" she asked, suddenly feeling happy.

Twilight smiled "Haha, of course they do!" she said wit ha cuckle, then looked surprised. "Oh Rusty didn't wake me up, I don't have any idea where he is" she added wit ha slight frown. she was completely distracted when her sister asked her a question. "Oh goodness, no way!" She said quickly, blushing slightly. Of course she wasn't... right?

"Do you want to go ask Oreo?" Midnight asked. "I can come with you, if you want." she suggested. If her sister was pregnant, of course Midnight would be overjoyed, but she would also be a little sad. That meant that Twilight wouldn't be with her the whole time, at least thats what Midnight thought. She sighed slightly and realized specks and twilight were looking at her. "what?" she asked, slightly embarrassed. "are you ok honey?" Specks asked. Midnight nodded. "of course" she said, just as a kick jabbed her lightly in the side. She winced slightly but ignored it. "the foal isn't big enough to hurt me right now, but its so nice to feel kicks again" she admitted slightly.
(so is twilight having twins or a colt)

Twilight moved her mouth uncertainly, glancing at her belly. She hadn't felt anything that might mean she was pregnant.. but there still was a slim chance... Hearing Midnight's sigh she looked over quizzically, then smiled. "Hmm that foal must be pretty strong if it's already kicking!" she said with a chuckle. After a few more moments of thought, she nodded. "Ok, i suppose we may as well visit Oreo, just to be on the safe side" she conceeded.
