Twilight glanced over, glad to see Stardust had finally gotten Midnight to move. Well that was a relief. She'd known it would work, as much as it had hurt to turn away from her sister, she knew the anger and pain of her doing that would weaken her stubborness to stay put. She was about to get up and move back so she would be in between both fillies, when Stardust clomped over angrily. She got to her hooves, standing in front of her niece with a firm look. "Stardust, I'm still looking after Beauty. Besides, at the moment she was beside her, and can't you see my own filly is sick the same as Beauty? Of course i love them both, and i'll take care of them. Also, did you stop to think about how much my turning away may have helped you get your mother to move? I knew that if I made her feel angry or sad she wouldn't want to be here, and she would leave. It was for her own good" she said. "And yes, I will apologize to her later and let her know why I did it, but right now everyone's health is my main priority, not their feelings" she said, walking past her niece and laying down in between both smaller fillies, pulling them close to her sides and nuzzling them both in turn.
(grrrrr... i should be used to the fact that Midnight is mostly selfish and young xD, but i'm still not. Still riles me up.)

Stardust flattened her ears slightly, and she felt tears roll down her face. She went over to her mother and lay beside her. Midnight had closed her eyes and was laying on the grass, still as can be. "Mom?" She muttered. She bumped her mother in the side. "MOM" She rose her voice and Midnights eyes fluttered open. "hm?" she muttered, "oh thank Epona." Stardust whispered. "I thought you were dead." she said. Midnight laughed. "I was sleeping. I don't plan on going anywhere." she mumbled before she looked back at her sister and her heart twisted. "I'm a terrible sister." Midnight mumbled. "what?" Stardust looked at her mother. "no, mom." she said. "you're not." she said. Midnight nodded. "but I am. I always make Twilight move away from me, no matter what I do, at some point or another, she moves away from me and it just shows that I'm a terrible sister and I can't change that. Stardust glanced over at her aunt to see if she had herd, somewhat hoping she had so she could talk some sense into her mother.
(wow....midnight ain't selfish, she just cares for her daughters lol)

Twilight glanced over as Stardust moved to her mother's side. Oh great, now she'd hurt her niece's feelings too. Well, like she'd said, feelings would have to wait. She nuzzled the fillies again, but couldn't help her ears swiveling to listen to the quiet conversation between mother and daughter. A feeling of sadness and pity welled up for her sister. Poor thing, she always got so dramatic and upset easily, and then felt so horribly contrite afterwards. She would definitely have to talk to her later, after Beauty and Nutmeg were in the clear. Because they would be.
Rusty finished mashing up the first mixture, folding them, as he had before, into bits of leaves to make little pills. "Ok Nutmeg, time to wake up" he said gently, nudging her. "What?" she said groggily, forcing her head up and eyes open. A sharp pain shot through her stomach and she doubled over. "Daddy, what is that?" she asked in a pained, scared tone. "Ssh sweetie, your father's going to make it all better. You need to swallow the pills" Twilight said, her full attention on her filly. "Ok Mama" Nutmeg said in a scared tone, opening her mouth and grimacing as she swallowed the dry pills, then lay her head back down, falling asleep. Rusty gave a sigh of relief. "Ok Starlight, next batch" he said, moving to Beauty.
(lol... well Midnight's emotions are certainly a roller coaster!! Either sad, or angry, or dejected, or rejected, or sick, or worried.... lol)

Starlight brought over the next batch of herbs and set them beside Beauty and she waited for Rusty to do his thing.
Midnight didn't want to watch. "Can you watch your sister?" She asked Stardust. Stardust looked at her mother. "yea, but where are you going?" she asked. "I just need to run." Midnight said. Stardust tilted her head but nodded anyways, watching as her mother galloped away. She scooted closer to Nightstar and pulled her to keep her warm. Midnight galloped around throwing her mane from side to side. Because of how weak she was from the night before, she didn't realize how tired and kind of sick she would feel from all that running. She was wheezing when she got back to Stardust. "mom?" Anxiety in Stardusts voice as she spoke. "are you ok?" she asked. "yea...I...just...didn't realize, how tired I would be from running after what happened last night." she said, flopping down on the ground with a giant sigh. She closed her eyes and fell asleep beside two of her daughters
(ik lol, but thats why I love playing her, also its only been a day wow, lol long day)

Twilight whipped her head around at the sudden sound of hoofbeats, watching in dismay as Midnight galloped away. What on earth was she doing?? Not a smart move at all. She didn't doubt her sister would be exhausted beyond belief, and probably a lot weaker, when she got back.
A few minutes later, Midnight came back, coughing and wheezing. Twilight sighed. Her sister needed to start thinking before acting eventually. She hoped she'd be ok when she woke up.
Rusty nodded and nudged Beauty gently. "Hey sweetie, wake up! I have some herbs that will help you, you just gotta swallow them" he said.
(XD, i suppose that can be fun if you love drama. Yep lol)

"No" Beauty protested as she was nudged awake. "I'm tired" all she wanted to do was sleep, but her uncle seemed persistent about this so she opened her eyes and glanced at her aunt. "Aunt Twily?" she mumbled. "wheres mommy?" then she herd her sister "over here with me, Beauty." Stardust called. Beauty nodded and she took the herbs and ate them, falling asleep again after she did so.
When Midnight woke up a while later, she bent her head forward and began munching on some grass. "Is Beauty ok?" Midnight asked. Stardust nodded. "yea" she said. "she is" she nuzzled her mother and said. "But uh...I think miss Nightstar here is getting a bit hungry." she said. Midnight looked at Nightstar. Her eyes were looking up at Midnight. Midnight smiled. "alright." She said, getting up to allow Nightstar to nurse. When she latched on, Midnight bent her head and grazed some more

Twilight gave a sigh of relief as her niece took the herbs, laying her head down, worriedly resting as she waited for the antidotes to work.
Rusty gave a thankful nod to Starlight, then walked a few paces away and began grazing listlessly, his eyes on his daughter. A while later, Twilight heard movement and glanced over to where Midnight was with her daughters, and smiled, glad to see her standing up and grazing as the little new filly nursed. Good, both of them were strong still.

Midnight grazed even after Nightstar had layed back down. She grazed until she felt full, then she lay down herself and waited for Beauty to feel better. She closed her eyes and felt tears rolling down her face. "if only I could be with her" she mumbled. "but its dangerous" Stardust put in. "Because you can't get sick." she said. Midnight nodded. "why don't you go lay with her for a while" Midnight suggested. Stardust nodded and stood up, trotting over to her sister and laying down beside her, nuzzling her. Beauty coughed and woke up a while later. "Hi Stardust" she said, all perky. "I feel better now. My belly doesn't hurt anymore" she said happily
(wow, rusty not even keeping an eye on beauty how nice lol)

(well duh, if he's looking at his daughter than automatically he's looking at his niece too, i just didn't feel it was pertinent to add that. Specks should be watching his filly)
Twilight looked up as Stardust came over and smiled slightly as Beauty woke up, suddenly sounding rather cheerful. She gave a sigh of relief. Good, the antidote had worked! Rusty heard Beauty's voice and came trotting over. "How do you feel?" he asked, putting his nose on her belly, then her forehead.

Beauty looked up at her uncle. "much better!" she chirped. "Can I go see my little sister now?" she asked. Specks came trotting over. "Beauty!!" He nickered. "Daddy!!" Beauty squealed happily, standing up and hugging her dad. "Can I go see Nightstar?" she asked. Specks looked at Rusty. "Thats up to your uncle, not me." Specks said

Rusty smiled, glancing over at specks and nodding "She's out of danger now, and no longer any risk of contagiousness" he responded affirmatively.
Twilight smiled as well "Go see your mother' she said, giving her a slight nudge. Now with even more sure hope in her heart, she turned to Nutmeg. But the filly was still sleeping silently. She sighed slightly, then curled around her, nuzzling her gently. She'd completed her promise to Midnight and cared for Beauty, and now she could focus on her own daughter.
(isn't it funny how Midnights kiddos always come first xD?? Anyways, most likely last post of the night, as i gotta get to bed)

(ok, twilight gotta talk to midnight thoooo, well Beauty did also get sick first so)
Beauty smiled and she turned, trotting towards her mother. "MOMMY!!" She squealed, bumping her mother on the side. "shhhhhh" Midnight said. "sorry" Beauty whispered. Midnight pulled her daughter in for a hug and she held her there. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there and care for you." she said. "its ok. I understand" Beauty said, hugging her mother in return. "I just wish you could've been" she said with a sad sigh. Midnight nuzzled her. "don't be sad. You're all better now." she said. Beauty nodded and she lay beside Nightstar. Midnight stood up and walked over to her sister, laying down beside her. "hi" Midnight said

Twilight glanced back over at Beauty's squeal and smiled slightly, then turned back as Nutmeg groaned, shifting slightly before falling back asleep. With a sigh she nuzzled her, then lay her head beside her. A few seconds later she lifted it again as she heard Midnight's hoofbeats coming over, quickly looking over as she lay down. "Midnight, you can't be here, Nutmeg's still sick" she said almost wearily. Did Midnight WANT to get sick???

Midnight felt her ears flatten slightly. “Fine” she muttered, standing up. “I just wanted to comfort you” she muttered under her breath. She walked away from her sister and bent her head to graze a few feet away from beauty, Nightstar, and stardust. She sighed and felt a tear roll down her face, but she had to remind herself that she could lay next to twilight as soon as nutmeg was feeling better.

Twilight pinned her ears sadly as Midnight got up and moved away, her eyes filling with pain at Midnight's words. She knew she'd hurt her feelings, but she couldn't risk her sister getting sick too.
25 minutes later, Nutmeg shifted, then rose her head groggily looking around. "Mama? What happened?" she asked, leaning against her. Twilight nuzzled her with relief "Oh you just ate something wrong, same as Beauty" she said, looking up and neighing gently for Rusty. He looked over and quickly trotted to them, nuzzling Nutmeg as well. "Your fever's gone!" he said happily. "Does that mean she's safe now, and all cured?" Twilight asked hopefully. Rusty nodded, meeting her eyes "Yes, you can go talk to Midnight" he replied softly. Twilight smiled, then nuzzled Nutmeg again. "Will you be ok going over with your cousins for a bit?" she asked. Nutmeg nodded, still slightly sleepy looking, getting to her feet and walking over to them, plopping down beside Beauty and falling asleep again. Twilight watched her go, then got to her feet and walked over to Midnight. "Mid?" she said softly, hoping she'd let her talk.
