Spirit smiled "I was reckless in those days, I have learned now how truly my herd and my mate mean to me, and therefore I am content to stay nearby" he said, nuzzling her.

Twilight nodded "Probably, so let's head over now then!" she suggested.

"Spirit" Rain said. "That is the spirit inside of you! You can't stop it, I know it, and I think you know it too." She said to him. "I know how badly you want this and I know how badly running with the eagle cleared your mind." Rain said. "I'm just...just think about it, ok?" She asked him.

Midnight nodded. "Alright!" She said

Spirit smiled and nuzzled her "I will darling, I promise" he said, feeling a yearning already growing in his heart for the wind in his mane and the grass slipping away beneath his hooves. Maybe he would. Maybe.

Twilight smiled and began trotting over there, midnight beside her.

Rain smiled brightly. “I knew you’d choose the right option!” Rain said, pressing against her mate a little bit. “If you do choose to run with the eagle, then I’ll Keep an eye on the herd I promise” Rain said.

Midnight trotted alongside her sister and she smiled as she saw Nightlight awake with Fireball.

Spirit smiled again and nuzzled her as she saw right through him. "Thank you Rain" he said lovingly.

Twilight trotted up with a happy nicker. "Fireball!" she said.

Nightlight lifted his head and whinnied to his sisters, his voice still weak, but easily heard. "Mid! Twi!" he said in a raspy voice.

“Nightlight!!” Midnight said happily, as she raced to her little brother. “Oh Nightlight, I was so worried!” Midnight said, pressing against her brother.

Fireball looked up as she heard Twilights voice and a smile crossed her face as her mate was able to speak to them.

Twilight trotted up and smiled as she hugged her brother, then Fireball. "I'm so glad you're awake!" she said happily to him, smiling to Fireball.

Nightlight grinned happily at them both, nuzzling them. "I missed you both" he said in a very quiet voice, still recovering obviously. He turned and nuzzled Fireball with a loving peaceful smile.

“Oh Nightlight, I missed you so much!” Midnight said as she leaned into him. Fireball suddenly winced in slight pain and she closed her eyes for a moment, taking a slow deep breath.

Twilight smiled, then looked back over to Fireball in alarm. "Fireball. are you ok?" she said, snuffling her worriedly. Nightlight pulled from his sister's embrace to look over at his mate worriedly. "Fireball?" he rasped out, concern glowing in his eyes.

Fireball leaned into her mate. “I’m ok….” She said letting out slow breaths. “I’m ok….just our foal, being restless” she said with a small smile.

Nightlight moved closer and pressed his muzzle to her belly "I'm here now to help you, I"m here" he said softly.

Fireball smiled. “I was worried you’d miss the birth” Fireball said. “I’m so glad you’re ok” Fireball admitted, her eyes filling with tears, her head pressed against her mate.

Midnight smiled and nuzzled her little brother. Twi….mom….she needs to come” Midnight said.

Nightlight nuzzled her seriously "Never, I would never" he said earnestly as he nuzzled her again.

Twilight watched them with happy tears in her eyes, then looked over and nodded "I'll go get her" She offered, spinning and racing off to go find their mother.

“My love, you sound so much better!” Fireball said, with glowing eyes. “I’m so happy to have you with me again” Fireball said. “And we’ll be parents soon” she added.

Sunlight was feeding Blizzard when her oldest filly galloped up to her. “Twi, what’s wrong?” Sunlight asked.

Nightlight smiled "I'm feeling better... but i'm very hungry... and thirsty" he said, coughing slightly. Then he nuzzled her again "I can't wait" he said, eyes glowing.

Twilight smiled to calm her mother "Everythings wonderful, Nightlight is better!" she said.
