Twilight stood by the two as she let them have a moment, smiling softly. SHe knew her niece was getting better.

Midnight looked at her sister. "Twi, don't just stand there, lay with us" She said

Twilight smiled and moved to lay down on Stardust's other side, nuzzling her. "I'm glad you're feeling better" she said lovingly.

Stardust smiled. "Thanks" She said as she nuzzled her aunt. "I think Buttermilk is getting better...at least...I don't know" Stardust admitted. "When did he get sick?" She asked

Twilight smiled then sighed and looked over at the still asleep buckskin, his mate laying her head on his shoulder, asleep. Her ears flattened slightly. "I'm sure he will be" she said softly as she turned back to Stardust.

"How's dad?" Stardust asked. "Right as Rain!" Specks said to his oldest filly. "I'm doing so much better, and im so happy to see you awake my sweet filly" Specks called from where he lay. Midnight chuckled. "Yea, your father was better about yesterday morning and Uncle Nightlight is better this morning too" Midnight added. "And Beauty? How is she doing with all this sickness?" Stardust asked. Midnight looked at Twilight and then she sighed

Twilight smiled again and then sighed once more. "It's hit her pretty hard, but i'm sure she'll be happy as soon as she sees you're ok" she said softly.

Midnight looked at her sister in thanks. "How....How about Sunflower?" Stardust asked as she gazed at her mother. "Is my filly alright?" She asked. Midnight nodded. "Your filly is just fine, and im sure if Rusty looks over you and checks you out, he can see if Sunflower and Harley can come over." Midnight said. "Oh mom, would you get him?" Stardust asked. Midnight chuckled and nuzzled her daughter. "well, lets wait until your sister wakes up to see you alright?" Midnight asked. Stardust nodded. "ok" she said

Twilight nodded "yes, yes she's ok" she added, then nuzzled Stardust. "I'll get him the minute she wakes up" she promised.

Midnight looked at her sister. "Twi, you know Beauty's been a nervous wreck, is it really the best idea to get Rusty the second Beauty sees her sister awake?" Midnight asked

Twilight sighed "Probably not, that's true" she amended. "after, after she has seen you and seen you're alright, then we'll get Rusty" she said to Stardust

"Well what about Song?" Stardust asked. "I wanna see her too before I give all my attention to Sunflower and Harley" Stardust admitted

Twilight smiled "I'm sure I could wake her" she said softly.

"Would you mind?" Stardust asked. "Please, I really want to talk to her"

Twilight nodded "of course" she said, getting to her hooves and moving to her daughter's side to nuzzle her. "Song.. sweetie, your cousin wants to speak to you" she said softly. Songbird shifted, mumbling slightly and shaking her head, twitching. "Darling, i'm right here" she said, nudging her harder. Songbird awoke with a gasp, lifting her head "Mom?" she said, eyes wide and unfocused. "I'm here, i'm here." Twilight hugged her. "Oh mom.. Buttermilk... he... he" she broke off. Twilight quickly nuzzled her. "no no darling, it's ok, he's sleeping right beside you" She said. Songbird looked down and let out a huge shudder of relief, nuzzling him. "Stardust is awake darling" Twilight said after a moment. Songbird looked up, eyes gleaming. "She is?" She said, scrambling to her hooves and looking over, then running to her side, laying down and nuzzling her all over. "Oh Dust!!! I was so scared!" she said.
