"Song!!" Stardust said with joy as her cousin and best friend lay beside her, nuzzling her all over. Stardust hugged her cousin hard. "I'm better now" She said. "I'm ok" She said, with tears gleaming in her eyes. "I promise you, I'm ok now" She said as she just hugged her cousin. "The most important part is, how are you? Are you ok?" Stardust asked as Songbird continued to nuzzle her with love and joy

Songbird hugged her hard "I'm so glad" She said, nuzzling her lovingly. "Me? Of course I'm ok" Songbird said, although she couldn't help but look over to Buttermilk, wistfulness in her eyes.

"He'll be ok" Stardust said. "I promise. Mom said Uncle Nightlight is better this morning too, he'll be better in no time" She said, nuzzling her cousin as a little sister of hers began waking up. She yawned a little bit. "What's going on?" Beauty asked. "Beauty, Stardust is awake" Midnight said. Beauty instantly squealed happily. "STARDUST!!!" Beauty exclaimed, pressing against her older sister

Songbird smiled and nuzzled her "I'm sure he will be" she agreed, then looked over and shifted with a smile so Beauty could reach her sister. Twilight stayed standing so everyone could stay nearby, smiling as the sisters embraced.

"Beauty!" Stardust said as her little sister pressed into her. "My sweet sister, have you been taking care of Nightstar and Apollo?" Stardust asked. Beauty shrugged. "I....I tried to, but with you, dada, Buttermilk, Ghost, and Uncle Nightlight all sick, it was really hard" She said as tears filled her eyes. "hey" Stardust whispered. "Its ok, I'm better." She promised. "I'm ok now" She said. "Sunflower has been asking for you" Beauty said. "Every time I went over there when dada was sick, she would say wheres my mama" Beauty said. "I...I didn't know what to tell her." She muttered a little bit. Stardusts eyes glistened with tears and she looked at her aunt. "Can you get Uncle Rusty now to check me over?" She asked. "I need to see my filly"

Twilight watched, tears coming to her own eyes to hear her niece put into words how she'd felt. She nodded. "of course, right away" she said, completely understanding. Spinning, she raced off to go find her mate. He wasn't far off, and she slid up to him. He spun, then nuzzled her. "What's up?" he asked. "Stardust is awake and talking, and wants to know if she's ok to go see Sunflower" she explained. He nodded and trotted back with her.

“I’m sorry my little sis” Stardust said. “I’m assuming you did an amazing job though!” She said. Beauty shrugged. “I guess.” She said as Rusty came cantering up. “Uncle Rusty!” Stardust said. “Can you check me over?” Stardust asked.

Rusty smiled "Glad to see you awake!" he said, nuzzling her then nodding. "of course I can" he said, beginning to do just that. It took a few minutes before he stepped back, smiling again. "A clean bill of health, except you should spend the day resting and recovering" he said with relief.

Stardust smiled as did Midnight. “Could you get Sunflower and Harley?” Stardust asked hopefully

Rusty smiled again and nodded "I'd be glad to" he said warmly, turning and cantering off in search of them.

Harley was grazing as Sunflower snuggled against him. She had just finished nursing from Sunlight and was now snuggled against her father happily. Harley on the other hoof….well…he was so worried about his mate and Rusty had yet to say anything. A few seconds later, he heard the hoof beats of a horse and he looked up. “Rusty….Stardust is she…?” Harley muttered

Rusty smiled swiftly "She's ok, she's better!! She has almost completely healed! You and Sunflower should go see her, she wants you both" he urged.

Harley's eyes lit up. "Oh thank you Rusty!" Harley said. "Sunflower, we're going to see mama" Harley said. "Mama?" Sunflower asked. Harley nodded and Sunflower almost instantly stood up and cantered behind her father. Harley followed after his filly as she picked up speed and raced to her mother when she saw her. "mama!!" Sunflower squealed excitedly, slowing to a stop and cuddling beside her. "Sunflower@ My beautiful filly" Stardust said with glowing eyes as Harley trotted up to join his daughter. He lay down beside her and then covered his mate in nuzzles.

Rusty smiled and trotted after them, eyes shining happily as he moved to his mate and nuzzled her, as she had moved back to give the family some space. "It's so perfect now" she said softly, then looked over to Buttermilk. Songbird had moved back to him, and was now very quietly nuzzling him. She knew the thoughts running through her daughters head. Why wasn't he awake?

Stardust just enjoyed the reunion with her family as Midnight looked over at her step father and sighed. He had yet to wake up as well.
