Galaxy gave a happy smile and started nursing “thanks sis” twilight said, relieved she didn’t have to feed all three

Blizzard finished nursing and then flipped on the ground with a sleepy sigh. Midnight chuckled and then nuzzled Galaxy again.

Galaxy finished not long after and followed suit, Chance, Blizzard, and Galaxy all sleeping together. "Well, that's done" Twilight said with a slight soft laugh.

Midnight nodded. "Yep" She said with a chuckle. "Now, I do have one more foal to feed." She said, meaning Apollo. "I'll see you later, sis" Midnight said, nuzzling her sister quickly before trotting to her colt to feed him. When she arrived, Apollo stood up and raced over to his mother, bending his head at once and beginning to nurse. "I suggested to feed him" Stardust said. "But he said he wanted your milk" She added. Midnight chuckled. "Well, we don't know if your milk is safe yet" Midnight pointed out. Stardust nodded. "True" she said

Twilight smiled and nodded "of course" she said, nuzzling her sister and watching as she trotted off, then starting to graze.

Midnight nuzzled Apollo lovingly as he nursed and Midnight smiled. It felt good to have her colt nurse beside her again. It felt good to have her entire family with her again...when suddenly something nagged at her heart. It was what Galaxy had said...about a filly being more important than siblings. Why was it bothering her so much?

Twilight grazed peacefully as she waited for her mother to return. She didn't mind watching the foals of course, but she wanted to go back and talk to her sister. She knew there was something about the early conversation that had bothered her.

As Ghost was asleep, Sunlight stood up carefully and trotted back to her daughter. "thanks for taking over" She said, nuzzling her. "It means a lot to me. Rusty said Ghost should be good to see Blizzard tomorrow" Sunlight said with glowing eyes. "He's been asking non stop to see his daddy the last few days." Sunlight said with a sad sigh. "It broke my heart..." She nuzzled Twilight again. "By the way, Midnight seemed a bit off as Apollo was nursing, probably nothing but you should check in with her" Sunlight suggested.
When Apollo finished nursing, he lay down and Midnight followed after him, pressing close to her mate as Apollo was snuggled between his two parents. Midnight heaved a happy and relaxed sigh before she lay her head on Specks back. "I love you" Midnight whispered to Specks. Specks smiled. "I love you" He said

Twilight looked up as she heard hoofbeats and hugged her mother. "Of course Mom, I knew how much you needed to see him" she said, then smiled "Oh that's so wonderful!" she said softly, then sighed as well, nuzzling her. "I understand, the poor foals don't understand" she said softly, then frowned slightly. "I thought there was something bothering her, i'll go see" she said, hugging her mother then turning and trotting back to her sister.

Sunlight nodded. "alright" She said as she lay down by her colt, pulling him close to her.
Midnight felt Apollo's breathing slow as he drifted into sleep, Midnight smiled and felt Specks turn his head so he could nuzzle her forelock. "You look tired" He said as he could see slight tireness in his mates eyes. "Do you need a little nap?" Specks asked. Midnight chuckled. "I mean....its always nice to have a nap, and I'm really comfortable" She said as Specks curled his tail around her. "I'll keep an eye on the girls, you get a nap" Specks said, Midnight smiled again and nodded. "alright" she said as her eyes closed

Twilight trotted up eager to speak with her sister, but she slowed as she saw her eyes were closed. Well, that was ok, they could always talk later. Smiling, to her daughter and nuzzling her, she dropped her head and began grazing.

After a half hour, Midnight stirred and she opened her eyes. She could feel Specks gaze on her. "What?" Midnight asked. "Twilight has been looking over at you from time to time" Specks said. Midnight blinked, confused. "why?" She asked. Specks shrugged. "Don't know" He said. Midnight nodded. "ok, well let me go see" She said standing and trotting to her sister. "hey, sis. Specks says you've been looking at me?" She asked

Twilight glanced over now and then, checking on her sister automatically, but remained grazing until she heard her voice. "Ah there you are!" she said with a smile, hugging her, then looking surprised "Well I normally do anyway" she pointed out with a laugh, then added after a moment "And I was wondering...did Galaxy say something that bothered you?" she asked softly.
