Midnight blinked. "Uh....I....what makes you ask that?" Midnight finally asked after stuttering her words there for a few minutes. It was quite unlike her to stutter her words, so whenever she did, she was feeling nervous...like at that moment. Yes what Galaxy had said really did bother Midnight, but no she wasn't about to admit that to her sister, how could she? Clearly Midnight's answer hadn't been what Twilight was expecting because she had looked at her quite surprised, which means that Twilight agreed with Galaxy on her thought, but how on earth could Midnight admit to her sister that she felt being a sibling was more important than a foal? Midnight wondered to herself as she realized she was gazing down lost in her thoughts.

Twilight raised an eye slightly, swishing her tail. "Come on sis" she said softly. "I can tell when you have something you're thinking about" she said after a few moments.

Midnight jumped when she heard her sister. "I.." She stuttered again. "W...What makes you...you think that what Galaxy asked...bothered me?" Midnight stuttered even more. She looked at Specks and he looked right back at her, a confused look in his eyes. She sighed. "Tell you later" She mouthed and he nodded as Midnight turned back to her sister. Ok, so Midnight had two options here, tell her sister what she was thinking and potentially ruin their relationship, or...keep it to herself and live in a hole of lies and denial without her sister knowing what Galaxy had put in Midnight's mind.

Twilight frowned "Sis, we've been together forever, you can't hide this kind of stuff from me, I could tell immediately. Please tell me" she said softly.

"Twilight...I....I can't" Midnight said looking at the grass. "I don't want to ruin everything we have. You're my sister, but you're also my best friend, if I tell you, this could ruin everything." Midnight said, glancing up at her sister. "please...just....forget it, ok?" She asked

Twilight frowned "I...I don't understand.. but if you don't want to tell me of course I won't force you" she said, pawing the earth slightly in uncertainty.

Midnight gazed at her sister. “Twilight, I don’t want to loose you. I can’t loose you.” Midnight said. “You need to promise me that if I tell you….it won’t ruin anything between us.” Midnight said

Twilight had to smile slightly "Midnight, we're sisters, and best friends!! Nothing could ever ruin anything between us!" she assured her with a nuzzle.

Midnight nodded and pawed the ground. “I wasn’t expecting what Galaxy said…” Midnight muttered. “It threw me off, and….I did mean what I said…..I….I…I do think siblings are more important…but I can see that you don’t, and I was wrong….for thinking you agreed with me” midnight said, looking down as she didn’t want to see her sisters reaction.

Twilight tilted her head "Oh sis, I was just surprised that you were taking sides in a foals argument!!! I don't agree with either side, but i do agree with both at the same time. They're equally as important to me, both my blood, and both my lives. You know that" she said gently.

“You hate me, I know…” Midnight muttered. “I just wasn’t expecting that, but I know they’re all the same….but….Specks is my life, my foals are my life….I…I just wish we never had problems like this? I wish I wasn’t so stubborn, I wish I didn’t get upset about everything, I wish I was normal!” Midnight muttered.

Twilight blinked in confusion "Mid are you listening? Of course I don't hate you!!! I love you!!!!! And i know you understand! Rusty and the foals are my life too, but you've been my life forever" she said, hugging her. "Oh sis, you are normal, you're yourself!" she assured her.

Twilight hugged her hard again then sighed "But that's who you are!!! If everyone thought about who they were, no one would be normal! Normal doesn't exist." she said firmly.

Midnight laughed a little bit. “Thanks for that” she said as she suddenly heard a whinny. “MOMMYYYYYY” Apollo whinnied loudly. Midnight sighed and gazed down. “Twi….Apollo he’s been so clingy to both me and Specks lately” midnight said
