Storm slowly and reluctantly allowed her pitiful hiss to fade away and settled for a distrusting glare at the much larger carnivore. Why wasn't she dead yet? At the Tyrannosaurus's final words, she had a small inkling of why. She had heard that most Tyrannosaurus's were very honorable, and never left debts unpaid. Even so, she was still nervous around the creature that had done a good deal of her injuries. There were no other options though, she concluded as she struggled to her feet, this time swaying but staying upright. She examined the carnivore one more time before sighing heavily. "Take the hatchlings then, I will follow." She reluctantly replied, wincing as she slowly limped towards where she had left the two hatchlings. The worst injury by far was the bite wound on her leg from where this tyrannosaurus had grabbed her, and each step brought a wave of pain even as she kept almost all her weight off of it. She finally made it to the small den where Pyro and Flutter where. She was already panting and felt heat radiating from her scales but she called out to them, telling them to come. She felt a flash of worry when there was no movement for a few seconds but it was replaced soon enough with tired relief when the two small hatchlings slowly came out of the leaves and ran up to her whining pitifully. She gave them a tired smile before nuzzling them both and checking for any injuries. Both seemed okay other than being scared. Hesitantly, she turned back to the Tyrannosaurus, "If you hurt a single one of their scales I'll rip you to shreds." She growled, trying to sound menacing as she gave the Carnivore a hard stare. Completely forgetting the fact she was threatening a creature 10x her size while she could barely walk.

Makta watched as understanding dawned in the Raptor's eyes, and she gave a short nod, impressed by the creature's selflessness. She simply watched as the Raptor limped off, each of her steps equal to many limps. When the hatchlings ran to their mother, Makta sighed again, stepping over to them. Such delicious, rare morsels, and she couldn't even taste one. She sighed again, then looked down at the Raptor, raising an eye and snorting at the warning. That Raptor had guts. "Although I find the idea of you being able to rip me to shreds anytime in the near future highly unlikely, I admire the warning" she growled, a slight note of amusement in her tone as she bent down, holding her claws out for the little hatchlings.

Storm watched the tyrannosaurus for a few extra seconds, slightly offended at how lightly her threat was taken (ignoring the fact that it was an understandable reaction), before nudging the two hatchlings towards the extended claws. The utter confusion on their faces would have been humorous if she herself couldn't help the fear of how easily the huge carnivore could simply crush them or eat them. There was no other choice though, and despite her frayed nerves she rumbled reassuringly to them and watched as they hesitantly climbed up onto the tyrannosaurus's claws.

Makta snorted as the two hatchlings stumbled into her paws at their mother's nudging, she quickly curling her claws around them to keep them from leaping back to their mother, and raising herself high again, the hatchlings well out of reach of their mother. For a moment she considered how easy it would be to just run off to her territory and have a leisurely snack, but her gaze shifted down to the mother Raptor, watching with such ferocity and worry, and she sighed. The creature had done her a favor, and she was now bound to her word and she had to help them. She growled at herself. She should've just taken her chance and eaten them earlier! Shaking her head in annoyance, mostly brought on by the lack of food that morning, she looked down to the Raptor again. "Try and keep up, I don't want to have to crawl along like an ankylosaurus" she growled impatiently, taking a large step forwards.

Storm watched carefully, as the hatchlings were pulled away from her. Even though she didn't like it one bit, at least it looked like the tyrannosaurus was making it to where they wouldn't fall. She huffed at the snide comment, "hmph, don't worry about me and just focus on not tripping over your ridiculously large feet," she glared back before hobbling after the Tyrannosaurus. Despite her acting her leg was throbbing almost unbearably, but the sight of her hatchlings so far away gave her just enough strength to bear the pain. There was no way she would let them out of her sight even if she had to chase the tyrannosaurus down.

Makta snorted. Ridiculously large feet?? Did the raptor not see the size of the rest of her body? She rolled her eyes, then moved forward again, glancing behind her and giving a slight grin. She could see the determination in the mother's eyes. How fast would she make herself go? It was a curious thought. Imperceptibly, she began moving to a swifter walk, her claws thudding into the earth with ever step as she shifted her eyes to look behind her again.

Storm was so focused on watching her hatchlings and forcing her legs to move despite the throbbing in her leg that she didn't even realize the Tyrannosaurus had sped up. She only noticed the change in pace as her breathing picked up slightly and she shot a glare as she tried to see if the tyrannosaurus was doing it on purpose. It wasn't the end of the world but it made her leg start to become stiffer and she hoped they weren't to much further away from the destination.

Makta glanced back once as she moved out of the forest and into the prairie, then growled to herself. The raptor was keeping pace. Imperceptibly she sped up even more as she headed over the terrain, the hilly area becoming more prominent. One more forest to plunge through on her violently broken path before they would reach the glade. If the raptor made it that far, she thought with a smirk. Feeling squirming, she glanced down at her claws and glared at the morsels inside. If they DARED try and nip her....

Storm started panting for air as she stumbled along behind the Tyrannosaurus, just barely keeping pace. She hissed softly in pain as the rock terrain made her slip slightly and sent a jolt through her injured leg. She fell a few paces behind before making sure the large carnivore didn't leave her sight. As the Tyrannosaurus seemed to look at the hatchlings in her claws though she seemed to find another burst of strength to catch up again. It looked like the two hatchlings were starting to get a little restless, and she watched as Flutter poked her head up and chirped at Storm, before seeming to try and leap out of the Tyrannosaurus's claws to the ground far below.

Makta had to slow as the hatchlings began squirming in her claws, and she gave a frustrated growl, glancing from her path to her claws just as one of the hatchlings seemed to attempt a death leap. With a snarl she fumbled her claws until she restrained him, clamping her claws around them tightly. "Stay still delicacies" she growled warningly at them, feeling like shaking them until they fell unconscious, but restraining herself, having to remind herself once again of what the raptor who was struggling along behind her had done for her. With a pained sigh she plodded onwards, and beginning to ruminate angrily on why she had allowed herself to get stuck in this humiliating position.

Storm tensed as the hatchling attempted to leap, but was grateful that the Tyrannosaurus managed to keep ahold of them, although she shot her a dissaproving and annoyed look at calling her children "delicacies". Even so she almost let out a sigh of relief as the Tyrannosaurus slowed her pace slightly, glad for the reprive even if it was small. Despite the constant throbbing in her leg she refused to make any noise of pain, trying her hardest to not focus on it and her hatchlings instead. So far it was the most effective method of distracting herself, plus she didn't exactly trust the less than ideal expression running across the large carnivores face.

Makta stomped onwards, crashing into the last copse of trees, her already blazed trail making it a bit easier for her to navigate, although doubtless the many downed trees would create more of an issue for the smaller reptilian behind her. But she refused to glance back. That thing could figure her own way through, she didn't need to become a coddling mother all at once just because she'd assisted her in one battle. She was already going far beyond helping by agreeing to not eat the annoying squirming creatures in her paws. She gave a frustrated snort and shifted her claws as one of the hatchlings, apparently annoyed at the darkness, attempted to nip on her claw. She let out a low growl of pent up anger and borderline rage. She was NOT a patient creature! The walk back to her domain had never seemed so long! But finally... and truly just in time, as she was no longer simply vaguely contemplating eating the entire family, she burst through the trees and suddenly sped up to a thundering lope, crashing into her field and halting by the stones she stored food. Surely the hatchlings could keep their nasty little teeth and scrabbly claws to themselves in a stone cage.
