"Yea, of course" Molly said. "Chloe mentioned that you've been hating the hospital food here." she said with a laugh, getting up and going back over to Chloe. "I think Beauty would enjoy that" Chloe said. "But....she'll need her best friend Athena with her. Molly's horse." Chloe said. "yea..." Molly said. "Beauty and Athena have been best friends since they were foals." Chloe said. "kind of ironic since Molly and I have been best friends since we were a year a half." Chloe added. She finished eating her breakfast. "oh...should Ellie meet your dog before Molly and I move in...?" Chloe asked

"He does well with other dogs, but I would do so just in case," Austin said after he had finished his food. It was so much better than the hospital food. He was already ready to get out of the hospital. But he had a few more days since the doctors wanted to keep an eye on him just in case something were to happen. It was lucky that he had not sustained any brain injuries during his time while he was unconscious. The doctors had done a brain scan after waking up and were surprised. Going outside with Chloe was just as good as leaving the hospital as it helped him get away from the sounds of beeping monitors and doctors coming in every few hours to check on him.

"I hope he is fixed." Chloe said. "We haven't fixed Ellie yet as she is still so young, but Molly is supposed to make an appointment." Chloe looked at Molly, who was staring down at the floor. "Mols" Chloe said. "You made her the appointment last night so they can see when we can fix her, right?" Chloe asked. Molly stared down at the floor. "MOLLY!" Chloe said. Molly looked up, embarrassed. "i...kinda forgot" Molly said. "how? I reminded you like three times." Chloe said. "I was kinda busy....last night." Chloe rolled her eyes. "doing what?" Molly looked down at the floor again. "hanging out with my boyfriend...and he uh....also...kinda asked me to move in with him...but i like the idea of moving in with you much better." she said. Chloe sighed. "why don't I just make it appointment now." Molly said. Chloe nodded. "alright, go for it." Chloe said, watching as Molly left the room. Chloe sighed, stood up, and sat on the bed with Austin. "I don't understand how she can forget that" she said, laughing.

"Sounds like someone is a little scatterbrained today," Austin chuckled as he placed a hand on Chloe's shoulder. "And don't worry, Maverick is fixed. I had him fixed as a puppy since he is a herding dog. I do not plan to use him for anything else," Austin added as he reached for his logbook so that he could write down his last flight. Even though it had ended in the crash, he felt that he should still log it down. But then he looked at Chloe for a moment. "Would you mind helping me? I need someone to write for me since my right arm is out of commission for writing. I would use my left, but I think it would be illegible for me to track when I put my flight hours into the electronic flight log on his computer when he arm was better. He handed her his flight log and his favorite pen that he used to write in it.

"sure" Chloe said. "what exactly do I do?" She asked. Taking the log book from him and opening it. She had never seen her dad do this before, and if he did, Chloe was probobaly to young to remember. Molly came back in a while later. "OK." she said. "so, I'll see you later Clo" She said. Chloe nodded. "Bye Austin." Molly said, as she grabbed the plates and left the room. Chloe sighed and figured out what to do for the log book. When she finished, she handed it back to Austin. "I can't wait for you to get released." she said

Austin showed her what everything meant on his log book. He then pointed to the second box that was located next to the date box. "This here is the type of aircraft that I was flying, which was a Boeing 777-9. I just write down B 777-9 in that box, then in the third box is the aircraft identifier. Meaning the number on the side of the plane. I might need a moment to remember what it was. These two boxes are the departing and arriving airports. The arriving airport code is OSL which is for Oslo's Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Then in the arriving airport, it will be SAT, which stands for San Antonio International. I think I flew about 10 hours, so you will place 10 here. I can do the rest when I am better," Austin explained as he watched her fill out the log book. Once she handed it back to her, he smiled. "Hopefully it is in a few days."

Chloe looked at him. "well" she said, "aren't you better right now?" she asked, pulling him in for a long kiss. Chloe smiled. "I should get going" she said. "I have to shower, walk Ellie. But I promise I'll be back before the day is over." she said, kissing him one last time. "I should be back around 5." Chloe said, grabbing her stuff. "see you soon Austin, i love you." she said, heading towards the door. She left the hospital and got into her car, driving home so she could shower and walk Ellie

Over the next few days, it had been decided that Austin was going to be discharged. He already had his sister pick up his truck at the airport and drove it back to his place. The doctors had said that he better take it easy for a few more weeks and that he was not to do any ranch work until he was fully healed. The doctors had even scheduled an appointment in a few weeks to take a look at him shoulder and arm to see if it healed properly for him to fly. He sat on the side of the bed as he waited for the doctors to come in with his discharge papers and a prescription for some pain medication. Austin had told the doctors that he did not want to be put on any sort of medication that could become addicting and cause him to loose his job as a pilot. He had seen a few pilots that had become addicted to pain medication lose their careers because of the nasty habit. So, they found some better alternatives for him to take. When the doctor came in with his paperwork, Austin could already feel his freedom. All his things were already in Chloe's car. "Either I can have you stay at my place or you can have me stay at your place while I heal up," Austin announced to Chloe when he was brought to the front of the hospital. He did not like the idea of being wheeled out in a wheelchair by a nurse. But it was for liability reasons.

"You can stay at my place for the next few weeks." Chloe said. "Molly will be there as well, so you will have two people to take care of you. And you can play with Ellie." Chloe said, helping him get into the car. Chloe got in the front seat, and buckled her seat belt. "do you want to listen to any music?" she asked, starting the car and leaving the Hospital. It was nice to be leaving the hospital for the final time. She drove down the road and pulled into her driveway. Molly came out to meet them. "hey" she said, helping Austin out of the car. "I've gotten the guest room ready, which is right across the room from Chloe's room." Molly said. "assuming you can walk up the stairs" Chloe added

Austin looked at Molly as he got out of the car. "My legs are okay. They did not get broken in the crash," Austin said as he gave her a kind smile. "If you could help me get my bag upstairs, that would be great." He looked at his watch on his left hand and realized that Lauren would probably be off soon. He would ask her to bring him some extra clothes if he needed them. He climbed the stairs and headed to the room where he checked it out.

"sure" Molly said, helping him upstairs. Chloe linked arms with Molly. "so why did I agree to this?" she whispered. Chloe looked at her. "it was your idea." Chloe added in a low whisper. Ellie could be herd barking inside. Chloe unlinked arms with Molly and ran inside. "hi Ellie!!" She said. "come here" Ellie ran to Chloe and jumped up on her. "hi my sweet girl. I missed you. Yes I did." Chloe rubbed Ellie's belly. "you just saw her this morning." Molly said. "yea, well, I still missed her." Chloe said, rubbing Ellie behind her ears

Austin looked around the room as he sat down on the bed. He had been walking more at the hospital and was even working on his strength to get back to his normal condition. He went through his things and found what he needed and placed his toiletries in the guest bathroom so that he could take a shower in the morning. It felt nice to be in a normal house, but he missed his place most of all. He set his laptop up on the desk so that he could facetime with a few of his pilot buddies later on that night to let them know that he was out of the hospital and staying at Chloe's until they could get moved into his place. Heading downstairs, he met the girls in the living room where he sat down on the couch. For a moment, he missed flying. It was hard being away from an aircraft for so long. Usually he had 1-2 weeks off depending on how much he flew during the weeks he was on duty. He took a deep breath as he let those feelings fade, knowing that he would be back again soon. "So, why don't I order us some dinner. My treat for you letting me stay here." He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He was able to hold things with his right hand as long as they were light and pulled out his credit card. "Any requests?"

Ellie barked. "I think Ellie wants some of her kibble." Chloe said, standing up and walking over to Ellie's dog bowl to feed her. "there you go." Chloe said. Ellie sat down and tilted her head, looking at Chloe. "ok" Chloe siad. Ellie stood up and walked over to her food, chowing down. "I go could go for some Pizza." Chloe said. Molly looked at her. "I was thinking the same thing!" Molly said. Then at the same time they said. "one large cheese pizza, with one large peperoni pizza." Chloe laughed and looked at Austin. "you down for some pizza?" she asked

"I am if you are," Austin announced as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed the number for the pizza. He put in the order and gave the person his credit card number and the address before hanging up. "Should be about an hour before they are here. Until then, I need to call Lauren. I need her to bring me a few things from my place tomorrow after she gets off work," Austin announced as he set his phone down on the table.

"Ok" Chloe said. Molly pulled her to the side. "i really need to talk to you." she said. "what?" Chloe looked at her confused. "please" Molly said. "OK" Chloe said. "Hey, Austin. We'll be right back." Chloe said, as Molly raced up the stairs holding Chloe's hand. "what??" Chloe asked. "Justin and I broke up." She said. "Oh, Mols." Chloe said, hugging her friend. "im so sorry." she said. "why?" she asked. "I caught him cheating on me." Molly said, as tears were rolling down her face. Chloe hugged her. "that son of bitch." she said, cracking her knuckles. "Don't worry I'll handle this." Chloe said, opening the door as she headed down the stairs. "CHLOE!!" Molly said, going after her. "please, don't do anything stupid." she said, "and by stupid, don't punch him." Chloe stopped at the front door. "Oh Mols, i'm doing so much more then punching him." Chloe said, opening the front door and leaving the house. "CHLOE!" Molly ran after her, then she stopped. "I could use some help." she said to Austin. "your girlfriend is going to attack my ex-boyfriend for cheating on me, we need to stop her." Molly said
