Breck watched as sorya did a few moves that were dressage moves. He watched as sorya walked over axel to Brent to dismount. "I'm guessing you did western dressage midnight also seems like a fit horse for that as well. You know you could of told me in the start you forgot to mention you could do some dressage" Breck said before grabbing axels bridle so sorya could dismount.

"I have been doing western dressage with Midnight for a few years. We have won a few competitions as well," Sorya said as she dismounted and took her helmet off. She was about to turn to help with taking the saddle off when Axel bumped Sorya into Brent with an "ompf as she hit his chest. She looked up at Brent as she took a moment to look into his eyes. There was something about Brent that made Sorya feel safe. The image of him wrapping his arms around her and pulling her against his chest came to her mind as she looked at him. After a moment without thinking. Sorya leaned her head towards his. Her lips found his as she kissed Brent. The kiss lasted a moment before Sorya pulled away. Sorya then realized that she should have not done that as he probably did not think of her in the same way. "I-I'm sorry..." with that, Sorya pulled herself away from him and ran back into the barn. She did not stop until she was in the office. Locking the door behind her, Sorya dropped her helmet on the desk and huddled in the corner of her office.

"Nice" Breck said holding axel so sorya could dismount as soon as sorya dismounted axel accidentally bumped into her causing her to run into Breck. They ended up kissing. "Sorya wait" Breck said but sorya was already gone and into the barn. He quickly grabbed axels bridle and put axel in his stall he would u tack him later he had to talk to sorya. He guessed she would be in the office. "Sorya can you please open the door" Breck said waiting for sorya to u lock the door.

Sorya closed her eyes as she heard Brent ask her to unlock the door. Should she open the door and let him in? What if wanted to yell at her? Then she would leave the door closed. But what if he was not mad? Sorya had to take a chance, but she was not sure what to do. After a moment, Sorya stood to walk to the door. She placed her hand on the door handle but stopped as she took a deep breath. After another moment, she unlocked the door. "What?" she asked as she finally looked at Brent.

Breck watched as sorya finally opened the door. "Sorya I like... just forget about it I have to go untack axel before I look like a bad horse owner" Breck said walking away from sorya and towards axels stall. He quickly removed the bridle and hung it up outside of axels stall door and a bridle hanger. He quickly took of axels saddle and handed it to a waiting groom which he called over before. He grabbed his grooming kit and quickly groomed axel.

Sorya knew that he wanted to say something but decided not to. It honestly made her feel much worse as she closed the door and locked it. Tears fell down her face as she pulled herself down the floor and cried.
Over the next several days, Sorya had decided to avoid going to the stables by giving the guise that she was suffering from a bad stomach bug that she did not want to pass on to anyone else. She did not want to see Brent after he refused to acknowledge what had happened between them at the outdoor riding arena. She had hoped that he would have said something when she had locked herself in the office. She had hoped that he would have pulled her into a kiss to acknowledge that he had felt something for her like in those romance novels that she had read. The days that Sorya had not gone to the stables, she had hoped that Brent would have shown up at her door to explain why he did not say anything. But when Brent did not show up by the time everyone at the barn was gone, her heart sank each day. Sorya knew she had feelings for Brent, but after what had happened, she was not so sure anymore.

Once Breck was done with axel he grabbed his keys and left the barn he didn't have anything else to do so he could just get all his hockey gear ready for the upcoming season.
It was a few days later Breck still hadn't gone to the stables some one the grooms probably guessed he was busy with hockey as he was a hockey player. He got his gear ready to go to the first hockey practice of the year which once it was over he went home and took a shower before heading to the stables to check on axel and sorya as well things got bad between them. Once he arrived at the stables he checked on axel who was very happy to see Breck. "Hey boy sorry I was gone for so long I had hockey" Breck said patting axel before giving the horse a treat. After giving axel his treat all the other riders were already leaving or already left he walked towards soryas house and knocked waiting for a response.

Heading down to her kitchen to make some tea. As soon as she placed the kettle on the base of the electric kettle, she heard the sound of someone knocking at her door. The maid had run upstairs to the laundry to do some chores so she could not answer the door after the doorbell had been rung. So, Sorya had decided to answer it herself. Opening the door, her heart nearly sank as she saw it was Brent at the door. For an instant, Sorya got the feeling of wanting to slam the door in his face and just walk away. But instead of doing so, she looked at him. "What are you doing here?" She bit her tongue a little as she felt that she was sounding a bit snappy and angry.

"Sorya I came here to apologize to you . Will you accept my apology or should I go." Breck said looking at sorya he was trying to be nice. He took a step closer to sorya before kissing her on her lips.

After he had spoken, Sorya was about to say something but was cut off when he stepped forward to kiss her. Her eyes opened wide as she felt his lips find hers. She could not think for a moment as she realized what was happening. Then she wrapped her arms around Brent and pulled him closer to her. Her body fit just right against his as she let her lips move with his. Sorya then pulled Brent inside the mansion and shut the door behind him where she let herself continue to kiss Brent. There was just something about him that made Sorya feel safe around him. Sorya knew that she wanted him to stay with her as long as he could. Pulling away from him but staying in his arms, Sorya whispered to him, "Please stay with me. I don't want to be alone anymore."

Breck watched as sorya pulled him into the mansion before continuing to kiss. "Who said I'm leaving you princess" Breck said before hugging sorya. "What do you wanna do? I'm free the rest on the night anyway" Breck said while still hugging sorya.

A shiver went down her spin when Breck called her Princess. But it was that good shiver that felt good. Since it was a cool evening, Sorya had made a fire in the living room. "Come with me," Sorya said as she grabbed Brent's hand and brought him into the living room. Trinity the maid was just pouring Sorya a cup of tea in the living room as Sorya and Breck arrived. "Should I grab some another cup and some more tea for you and your guest?" Trinity asked as she set down teapot on the table. "Please. And then you can take the night off," Sorya announced as she sat down on the couch. Once Trinity was gone, she looked to Brent. "How come you never said anything to me the other day after I ran off about what happened? You came to the office and then just said you had to untack Axel. I felt you wanted to say more..." Sorya announced as she grabbed Breck's hands in her own. |

"Okay" Breck said following sorya as she grabbed his hand to the living room . Breck watched as the maid put down a teapot and left. "Sorya you kissed me than ran off before I had a chance to say anything. What I wanted to say I didn't know how to word is so I used axel as my excuse and I did have to untack him as I knew you wouldn't and I couldn't leave him tacked up. What I wanted to say was I liked you." Breck said pulling soryas closer to him. He watched as the maid set down the things sorya asked her to get the left for the night. Breck gently kissed the top of soryas head.

Again, Sorya suddenly felt safe as she laid her head against Breck's chest. It finally felt good to finally know that Breck felt the same way about her that she did about him. She sighed happily and then finally looked up at Breck. "I was scared after I kissed you, which is why I ran away. I was scared that I did something wrong and that you would hate me or it," Sorya whispered as she pulled away from Breck. The fire was nice as it warmed up the room. She watched as the red, orange, and yellow flames danced in the fireplace as if they were dancers performing an intricate dance.

He watched as sorya leaned her head on brecks chest. "I wouldn't hate you for it princess so dont be so scared next time princess" Breck said looking at sorya who was watching the fire. He pulled her close again before gently kissing her forehead.
