Sorya closed her eyes and let Breck hold her close to him. She was tired from everything that had happened this week and just wanted to rest. It did feel good that she could take these couple of days off, but she did worry about what Breck was going to say to her about the kiss. Now knowing that he felt the same for her, she could feel like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Sorya then pulled away after a moment as she reached for her cup of tea. "Breck, I do want to keep this relationship to just up for now. I mean...what would the grooms and everyone who works for me say?"

"I am sure they will not mind us dating sorya besides most of them would not care at all" Breck said to sorya who took a sip of her tea. "Oh and i also found emerald and valley yesterday there up for sale for $5,000 each so its around $10,000 dollars for both of them I also messaged the owner asking if there still available and they are so let me know if you wanna go on a small 2 hour trip to go pick up 2 Frisians otherwise I will just bring my dog if you dont wanna go but my dog is going anyway" Breck said looking at sorya.

Setting her cup down on the coaster, she looked at Breck. "You did?" Sorya asked as she listened to Breck explain the price and that he was going to pick them up. "Sure, we can take my truck and trailer if you don't mind me driving. Nobody but me can drive my truck as it is my baby," Sorya announced as she looked at Breck. It was then that her cat Luna walked into the room and hopped up onto Luna's lap. "Luna, I thought you were sleeping on my bed," Sorya said as she stroked the ragdoll cat who had began to purr. "Breck, meet Luna. She was my aunt's cat that she got last year as a kitten." |

"Yeah it wasn't really hard to find them and I was bored. And yeah you can drive your truck" Breck said watching as a cat appeared. "I met Luna before she acted like a dog and followed your aunt everywhere even in barn but kept her distance from the horses." Breck said looking at Luna.

Sorya gave Luna a scratch on her chin just the way she liked it. "I don't let her out anymore since the storm scared her a few nights ago. And plus, she is too pretty to let run around the barn. She should have her own castle to rule," Sorya said as she looked at the ragdoll. Luna then jumped up to the top of the couch and hopped into the window to look outside at the setting sun. She then felt her eyes get heavy as she laid her head against Breck's shoulder. It had been an excruciatingly tiring week for her as she had so much to do when it came to putting the stables into her name. Meeting with her aunt's lawyer, filling out paperwork for the transfer, and so much more. This place was so huge that she was not used to having all the horses here. She was used to having about 15 stalls back home in Oklahoma that she took care of with her dad and brother. This barn had room for about 75 horses. And the only one she had to work with was Midnight. "We can go look at them tomorrow if you are not busy..." Sorya said as she closed her eyes. Within minutes, Sorya was fast asleep.

"Yeah the storm was a bit bad but she is way too pretty like you said and she had her own castle in the tack room," Breck said watching as the ragdoll jumped from the couch and onto the windowsill where the sun was setting, "I have nothing to do tomorrow no practice so I will go" Breck looking at soya who was already fast asleep. He didn't want to move as Sorya was very tired so he just stayed with her before eventually, he ended up falling asleep as well.

It was the middle of the night when Sorya woke up slowly. She was so warm that she did not want to open her eyes. For a moment, she thought she was in her own bed when she suddenly heard the sound of someone else breathing lightly. Looking up, Sorya noticed that Breck was right next to her asleep. Looking at the fireplace, the fire was now just a pile of embers. Sorya was not sure if she wanted to move and go to her bed or if she just wanted to stay here with Breck. She could ask him to come to her room with her if he wanted...but would that lead to something more? Sorya blushed at the thought. Sorya took a deep breath not sure what to do at that moment.

Breck was fast asleep still he was way to tired anyway he had practices at 5am that went until 1:30pm then he had practice at 2:30pm to 11pm which meant breck didn’t get much sleep as he was busy with hockey and practices but at least he had the day off tommorow then he has 2 more practices before a game and then he will be able to get some training done with axel on his jumping and a bit of dressage work which he needed to get improved on. Most people he competed against didn’t do any other sports and spent there time training Breck on the other hand played a sport and worked with axel when he had the time to work with axel. He slowly woke up when he heard someone moving around. He realized he was still at soryas but it was fine. “Morning even if it’s around 1 am” Breck said looking at his phone which had no messages on it.

Sorya sat up rubbing her eyes as she realized that Breck was awake now. She watched him as he checked his phone. "I am sorry I fell asleep. I have been so busy doing things to keep my busy," Sorya apologized as she took a moment to realize that she was still in the living room. She took a moment to stretch her arms as she stood from the couch. "You are more welcome to come to my room if you want a more comfy place to sleep. Or if you don't feel comfortable sharing a bed with me, I can let you sleep in one of the other rooms." She grabbed her phone off the table and checked it. There was a message from her father. He could wait till morning for a response.

“It’s fine princess “ Breck said watching as sorya got up and stretched her arms. “I can’t stay sorya I have to go check on Bauer and make sure he’s okay.” Breck said getting up he took a step towards sorya. “See you tommorow princess” Breck said pulling sorya towards him and kissing her lips. “Now just get some rest I wanna ride axel before we go and look at the horses princess unless you wanna go see my house and see my dog that’s fine.” Breck added before looking at his phone.

Sorya was a little sad that Breck was not going to be able to stay the rest of the night with her. It was best though. She was not ready for what could come if he did stay. She nodded then felt him pull her close. She reached her arms around his neck as he kissed her. She did not want to let him go, but knew she needed to get some sleep. "I should get some sleep anyways. I have to get up early so that I can get ready for the day and make a few phone calls to some boarders who want to board their horses here. I can meet you outside the stables after you finish riding Axel. I can also lunge Midnight before we leave," Sorya announced as she led Breck to the door.

He felt soryas arms wrap around his neck once he kissed her. “Well good night princess oh I will stop by in the morning to say good morning and call me right away if you need anything I will come straight away.” Breck said kissing sorya one last time he would of stayed with her but his dog needed to be checked on and he needed to make sure he had all his hockey gear ready for practices in a few days. Once the kiss ended he added. “Goodnight princess I love you” Breck said smiling at sorya before pulling out his phone to check the time. He walked to the barn and checked on axel who was happy to see him before heading towards his truck and heading home. Once Breck arrived at home he playing with Bauer for a little bit before showering and putting on some comfy clothes which meant his sweatpants and a hockey shirt. He went to bed afterwards since he was so tired anyways.

The next morning, Sorya woke up to the sound of her alarm going off. For a moment, she did not realize that she was in her room. Her blankets were so cozy that she did not even want to get up. But Sorya knew that she had things to do before her and Breck went to pick up the horses. 10K was a lot of money, but if that was going to bring back the passion at the stables, then she would spend the money to bring back the Friesians. After a moment, Sorya decided to get up and hop in the shower. After a long hot shower, Sorya got dressed and headed downstairs where she grabbed something to eat that she could munch on while heading down to the stables. Sorya grabbed her black cowboy hat as she walked out the door and an apple. She felt it was best to bring her truck to the barn since she had to hook up the trailer just before she left. She got into the front seat and started the diesel truck and drove down to the barn as she ate her apple. |

Breck slept in for a while before waking up and heading downstairs before making eggs and bacon along with toast. Once he got his meal ready he let bauer go outside of he had a cat but she was off somewhere sleeping. He got a few things done around the house before showing and changing into some riding clothes and saying goodbye to Bauer who was just taking a nap per usual. Breck went out to his truck and left to the stables. Once Breck arrived he didn't talk to anyone he walked up to axels stall and opened the door to see axel had finished her breakfast already and wanted to go outside. He led axel to the wash stall and groomed and tacked up in a red tack set he owned which matched his shirt. Since he knew no one was gonna be in the jumping arena since most of the riders didn't come later in the day the barn was quiet for a while. Breck led axel to an arena with a mixture of high and low jumps along with a few tricky jumps that were set up. Breck warmed up with axel before doing a few of the low jumps.

Sitting in her office, Sorya made a few calls to the owners of horses who were wanting to board at the stables to confirm that the stalls were open and that the horses could come as soon as they could get them here. Since she had a small fridge in the office, she had a few things that she could eat for breakfast. So she grabbed a portable protein snack pack that had cheese, nuts, cubes of meat, and some pepperoni in it and snacked on that while she waited for Breck to be done riding. She had already fed the horses that needed feeding this morning. So, she had nothing to do.
