Alistra's eyes gleamed at the thought "Thrilling" she answered, attempting to imagine such an exciting epic event.
Alpha Vanorr smiled "It does seem so" he agreed with relief "The more they get to know each other, the better they'll work during the mission" he added sensibly as they moved towards the rock.

''It would be thrilling, to see someone as old as he is. Think about how much he must have seen, all the battles he's planned,'' Enilair's face suddenly darkened, ''against us,'' he finished.
''Very true,'' Froedi answered, ''I suppose we will be in correspondence once the Dreki arrive?''

Alistra blinked at Enilair again "Well I wouldn't wait around to hear about all that, if I saw him i'd take him out as fast as I could!" she said, as if it were the obvious choice. "But from what my father's told me, he's the best warrior of them all" she said with a slightly grudgingly amazed sigh.
Vanorr nodded "We shall, let us hope they have arrived by the time we return" he replied, smiling over and giving a slight nod to Vaskra at her steady gaze.
Vaskra inclined her head in return and slowly got to her paws as the Alpha's neared the stone, glancing to her apprentice and giving a slight growl to get her attention.

Enilair was about to answer, when he heard Vaskra's growl he quickly shut his mouth and looked at what she was indicating. Quickly he got to his feet and bowed to the approaching Alphas.
Grthmé lowered his head respectfully to the Alphas, waiting their command.
''Indeed,'' answered Froedi, ''now, we cannot loose much more daylight, fare thee well, in all you do, and wherever you go.''

Alistra swiftly looked over at her mentor's growl, glancing over and hopping to her paws to dip her head to the Alphas.
Vanorr nodded gravely "Quite so. The same to you, my old friend, run well and may we meet again in victory" he said, dipping his head to his fellow Alpha.
Vaskra saw this movement and glanced to Grthmé "We shall see each other soon" she said quietly with a swift smile as she prepared to jump off the stone at her Alpha's command.

Grthmé nodded back at Vaskra, allowing the barest hint of a smile to register across his face, before taking his. place directly behind his Alpha.
Enilair looked back at Alistra, disappointed that the meeting had to be brought to a close so soon. He had enjoyed spending time with her. At least he would see her in three days, for the mission. He smiled to himself what a day that is going to be.
Froedi nodded to Vanorr, and set off into the forest toward the Visdomr clan.

Vanorr let out a swift bark, and Vaskra shot one parting smile to Grthmé before leaping off the rock and trotting to her Alpha's side. Alistra glanced over to Enilair reluctantly. It had been so interesting to speak with someone her age from another clan, but at least she'd see him again soon. Flashing him a quick smile she bounded off the rock and loped over to her mentor. Alpha Vanorr returned the nod and padded into the forest as well, his two companions following him, leaving the clearing silent and empty as it had been before.

Enilair walked behind Grthmé, thoughts of the most recent happenings filling his mind. He glanced up at his silent mentor, wondering what was behind the silent wolf's stoic expression, and if he had any history with Alistra's mentor, Vaskra. There was so much he wanted to know about the scared wolf.

Alistra trotted behind her mentor as they headed back down the path, the sun much higher than it had been on their journey earlier. Thoughts began to surface from the meeting... the plan of when to attack, the area... she wondered briefly how she would train to move in a different territory without moving to that territory, but she knew that Vaskra would have a plan for that. And Eniliar... her thoughts circled to the young apprentice. He'd been so very different, a certain calm, gentleness about him... thoughtful she supposed the word was. She wondered if he'd be able to hold his own during the mission. And his mentor, the one eyed wolf... she glanced to her own mentor. The two had talked for quite some time, and their Alpha had mentioned them knowing each other. What had their past been of? She wondered if she'd be able to ask Vaskra once they returned to her pack... but would that seem to be prying? Such thoughts circulated through her mind, a mixture of questions and imaginations that kept her mind busy and passed the time quite swiftly.

The journey back did not seem nearly as long as it seemed when thy were traveling to the meeting stone. It was also cooler, for the sun was not directly above them. They did stop at the stream once for a quick drink, but they did not linger, as all three, at least Alpha Froedi and Enilair were anxious to return. Grthmé- none knew what Grthmé thought or was thinking.

Alistra's thoughts halted for a few moments as they stopped to quench their thirst as the sun passed far below it's zenith. Already they were closer than halfway, and she was beginning to feel a bit foolish for having been so exhausted. There was certainly something in the saying her father told her "When you know how far you're going, the journey is short". Now that she'd passed by the same trees on the way there, she could notice certain landmarks that told her how far they were, and she found that she really wasn't tired at all as they began their trek once again. Less than an hour later they emerged from the tree line, and were met almost immediately by the Beta. "Sumar, has something occured?" Vanorr questioned swiftly as Vaskra and Alistra broke ranks from behind him and moved into the clearing. Sumar bowed to his Alpha, glancing to the other two then giving a swift relaxing smile "Nothing of alarm, Amida simply wishes to inform you that Dreki have arrived from Clan Heille" he responded. Vanorr relaxed as well and nodded, a pleased expression on his face. "Ah, wonderfully prompt" he said "I would like to look over these Dreki" he added, then glanced to the two beside him. "You two may accompany me if you wish" he said as after thought.

It was not much longer till the three wolves reached the Visdomr clan limits. Enilair was about to leave and find Greynan when he heard a short bark from Grthmé, ''where do you think you're going?'' he grated, ''we have a lot of training to do and only three days to do it, and will not waste even an hour.'' Enilair nodded and followed after Grthmé into the forest. Froedi proceeded toward his den on the way meeting Titindar, the brown and blue wolf who accompanied him to the council. Executing a perfect bow he delivered his message, ''the Dreki have arrived, Alpha.'' Froedi nodded, then continued to the healer's den, where he kew they would be kept. Let us see what a few trained Dreki are like, he thought to himself laughingly.

Alistra looked hopefully to her mentor, and Vaskra gave a slight nod. "We would be glad to accompany you, My Alpha" she said formally. He smiled at the two and nodded, swiftly trotting off towards the healer's den, situated near his own, in the shade of a large oak. Alistra followed curiously, eager to see if these Dreki were any different than the other swarms she'd encountered. Reaching the den, Alpha Vanorr padded inside, breathing in the earthy, curative scents of the herbs. A white she wolf with pale green mottling turned at his entrance, smiling and dipping her head, her green eyes glowing slightly. "My Alpha, I am honored." she said in a soft voice. Vanorr dipped his head as he moved to the side so Vaskra and her apprentice could join him. "Amida, I hear the Dreki have arrived? I would like to see them" he said in a calm tone. Alistra swiftly entered, looking around curiously. She rarely went into the healer's den, it being reserved more for emergencies than visiting space. Amida bowed again "Of course, they have indeed just arrived. Follow me please" She said in her quiet voice, turning and padding swiftly into the den. At the back, a space on the floor was covered in roots, creating a natural cage for the mischevious beasts. "Alpha Vanorr of Clan Araedi is here, please exit quietly and remain still" she said softly as she pulled back a root. Alistra's ears pricked as she saw the glowing colors emitting from the roots, and then a little flutter of wings and out popped the first, a bright green little Dreki that immediately disobeyed and went zooming around the den, under the three wolves and then zipping over to Amida and landing on her head with a squeak. Amida sighed. Her own Dreki was... not the best at listening. Alpha Vanorr smiled slightly at the energetic Dreki, then turned to look down as a fiery orange Dreki calmly slipped out of the roots, moving higher and landing on a ledge on the wall. After him came a pale blue, icy looking Dreki, and then a pale yellow. They landed on the ledge as well, blinking quietly at the three and fluttering their wings. Alistra looked quite surprised as they exited. She had NEVER in her life seen such calm Dreki! It was plain unnatural! But it was nice to not have to worry about them setting fire to everything. "Come now, I know there's one more of you" Amida's coaxing voice came. And with her voice, the roots glowed once more, a reddish hue of light, and with it, a larger bright red Dreki. It hovered for a few moments above the roots, blinking it's glowing eyes as it looked first to Amida, then over the wolves gathered. Then, looking rather decided. It calmly fluttered over to Alistra, and plopped itself on her head. Alistra's ears flattened at the strange sensation, and she immediately stiffened, looking to Vaskra, then Amida with questioning eyes. Please don't set fire to my fur! Was her first panicked thought. Amida suddenly let out a soft peal of laughter, as surprising as the Dreki itself. "Well isn't this unusual!! That seems to be a newer trained Dreki, and it would also seem to not have claimed it's sender... well until now!" she said, her eyes glowing with amusement.

Alpha Froedi entered the healers den, and breathed in the strong scent of healing herds, though he did not come here often he always enjoyed the clean natural feel it gave. Yarfell, the pack healer, silently approached the alpha from the back of his den, he bowed silently. ''I have come to see these trained Dreki, Yarfell,'' Froedi announced. ''Of course,'' Harrell answered in his calm quiet voice, ''they are over here,'' swiftly he turned and led the alpha to a wooden enclosure at the back of his den. Out of the cage emanated various brightly colored but softly glowing lights. Yarfell dug away some rocks and sticks that were covering the entrance, ''come out and no flying,'' he commanded. Immediately when the doorway was unblocked a bright purple blur wizzed out and landed on some moss stacked neatly in a corner, which she immediately burst into flames and set fire to, fortunately the moss was slightly damp so only little puffs of black smoke appeared. Yarfell shook his head, ''Cyprus, come,'' but the little dragon merely snuggled deeper into its new found bed, Yarfell turned toward Froedi, ''I am hoping that the presence of these well-behaved Dreki would help Cyprus, but we shall see.'' Alpha Froedi laughed then looked back down as three more of the brightly colored reptiles emerged, one was turquoise, he came out first, the next was a golden yellow, then a darker emerald green and lastly a fame colored that seemed to go back and forth between red and orange. Alpha Froedi observed as the four merely sat and looked back and fourth impassively between the two wolves as if awaiting orders, they even began yawning one by one, going down the line. Froedi almost laughed never in his life had he seen such Dreki.

Alistra blinked at Amida again "What exactly does that mean?" She asked in a low voice, afraid if she startled it her head my burst into flame. Amida's eyes twinkled with sudden amusement. "Well, it's like Lauf, he chose me" she said. The little Dreki dipped his head down to look in her eye at his name, then snuggled back on her head. "Ok Lauf, go back to your bed if you want to sleep" She said gently, shaking her head slightly. The green Dreki attempted to remain firmly fastened, then finally fluttered into the air, giving a fiery little grumble, then landing on the ground and promptly bursting into flame. With a defiant flare he zoomed back into the roots, where it was thankfully damp enough to extinguish him for the time being. Amida sighed as she glanced down at the charred little foot prints. Why she even attempted to train the little Dreki was beyond herself. Alistra during this time remained as still as possible, waiting for instruction on how to dislodge the surprisingly heavy little Dreki. Vaskra was simply watching with an amused expression, as was their Alpha, who was honestly delighted by the unusual circumstance. Amida turned back to the apprentice and smiled "It now means that only you will have any control over that Dreki, and it will most likely follow you around for the rest of it's life, unless you tell it not to do so." she explained. Alistra blinked again. A Dreki of her own? But that was unheard of! Only healers had Dreki! What was she supposed to do with it, throw it at the enemy? "Oh" she said, trying to look up at the Dreki. "So how do I get it off?" she asked after a moment. The healer smiled. "Simply order it to, and it will... or rather should.. obey you" she said. "Ok.. Umm... Dreki, I command you to get off my head and go back to the other Dreki" she said in a slightly uncertain tone. The bright little creature stayed for a moment, then hopped off her head, hovering in the air as it turned to look at her with a strangely expression filled look of adoration, then swooping over to the others and landing carefully. "Well then" Alpha Vanorr finally spoke, trying to compose himself although he was extremely amused by the situation. "That is an interesting new development, but I suppose it could be useful to have a Dreki on the mission" he said, then took another look over the brightly colored strangely silent Dreki. "I wonder how they even train them like this" he marveled. "Let's see how good they are" he added, eager to test them. "Ice blue Dreki, deliver this message to Amida the healer." he paused as the spoken of Dreki spoke forward and blinked at him with an intense look of concentration. "We must learn how to train Dreki like this" he said, then nodded "End of message" he said quickly. The Dreki blinked and then thrust itself into the air, hovering in the den then zipping over to Amida, halting in front of her and landing on the floor, where it promptly began to burn the letters into the ground. "Froum Elpha Vanorr, Whee moust liern how thiey vene treen tem liek thees" Amida blinked as she read it, then sighed. "They may be well trained, but they're just a word away from being illiterate" she said, then motioned for Alpha Vanorr to read it, which he did, then let out a large booming laugh. "Well it is decipherable" he said with a chuckle, laughter twinkling in his eyes. The Icy Dreki fluttered it's wings slightly at the insult, then turned and fluttered back to the shelf, landing and giving them an imperious look before decidedly turning away from them. Alpha Vanorr began chuckling again. Trained Dreki they might be, an attitude and illiteracy seemed to be the side effects!
