Lavender sighed. "just let me take them out. If I don't then they will get infected" She said. She leaned forward and yanked the arrows out with her teeth. "there" she said. "Can you fly?" Lavender asked, although worry was shown in her voice as she looked at her friend. "I know you probably want to rest, but if theres more humans, then we need to move" Lavender said.

Stargazer gritted her teeth in pain, slightly surprised as Lavender suddenly just yanked out the arrow. She frowned slightly, of course she would be fine to fly. She wasn't a weakling of course she thought to herself, ignoring the annoying twinges of pain in her tail. "I'll be fine, we should go." she replied hurriedly taking off into the air to hide her embarrassment in having worried her friend and needing help.

Lavender nodded. “I know you don’t like showing weakness, but I also know that if I didn’t pull that thing out, then it would’ve gotten infected and neither of us would’ve been able to do a thing about it” Lavender said, taking flight beside her friend. “If you need a break, please don’t hesitate to tell me” Lavender begged her.

Stargazer grunted in acknowledgement, not wanting to talk about it anymore as she glanced below to make sure no other humans were following them. She couldn't believe it had been so easy for the puny creatures to injure her. She was supposed to be the strong one. She couldn't be this weak if she wanted to ever see her precious hatchlings again.

Lavender sighed a little bit. She knew her friend hated to show weakness, but Lavender felt so bad. She wished she would just allow Lavender to help her. She flew beside her friend...of course she knew the exact reason her friend wouldn't show weakness, but still Lavender just wished she would allow her to help her sometimes.

The silence felt slightly awkward for a little bit, but she slowly relaxed enough to let out a deep breath and partially calm her anger towards the humans. The wound on her tail had dulled to a low throb and was easy enough to ignore. Much easier than the worries for what her hatchlings were going through right now, and the thought of whether they were even still alive.

Lavender glanced over at Stargazer. She herself had never had hatchlings...but she knew that Stargazer did. Lavender gazed around the sky as they flew side by side. She smiled to herself as her wings flapped by her side. She could feel the light breeze as it ruffled past her. She gazed up at the clouds. They were beginning to cover the sun. Lavender then glanced back over to Stargazer. "Looks like rain" She commented.
