''Must be the curse of the broken mop,'' Eldor said after some thought.

Kastron through his hands up in despair. “How would you have guessed, I haven’t told you the story yet! But yes, I’m assuming it is, and we’ll be all the worse for it.” He once again sidestepped his cavorting father, who was roaring in rage, struggling with the bucket and sheet on his head, and causing a deafening racket.

Eldor shrugged, ''I just guesses with the ominous way you have been talking about it,'' he said as he sidestepped a large swinging fist. Elsor watched as the captain bellowed his fury, ''more frightening than any screaming banshee he is,'' he said with a concerned look on his face, as he jumped away from another assault from Kastron's father.

Kastron took part of the broken mop (the half that hit I’m upside the head),and brandished it against his berserk father, who by some misfortune grabbed it from Kastron hands, and started going for the boys with that. “Watch and take care!”,Kastron shouted in frustration.”He’s got a weapon, and a cursed one at that!”

''The only way to fight a curse is with another. Where is your other mop,'' Eldor asked, frantically trying to dodge the hard hit blows.

Kastron looked around the room frantically, then, after scurrying around with no results, he dodged the stick his father was wielding, and rolled, taking refuge under the bed. "How am I supposed to know where it is, he has the one you hit me in the head with, you're sposed to know where the other end is."

''No, I meant the old one,'' Eldor said in a deep ominous voice.

Kastron faltered a bit. “The old one? It is kept under Aunt Pessilys bed, and nobody speaks of it. If we are to attempt this insanity, we must do it quickly. I’ll hold him off.”, he threw the throw up bucket under his fathers feet. “But I can’t do it much longer. Run and get it!”

Eldor nodded and quickly ran off in the direction of the aunts bedroom, he entered after a careful check to make sure the Aunt was not in. Dropping to his knees he began searching for the mop, he quickly pulled out an elongated object wrapped in black silk. Tearing off the silk he swiftly retuned to the cabin where the desperate battle still ensued.

Kastron was trying to hold off his father, who was following the sound of Eldor's footsteps. Kastron quickly slammed the door before his practically blind fathher could escape, which turned out to be very bad idea, as Kastron was now the only other person left in the room. The captain jumped at him, arms flailing widly. Kastron grabbed a vase that had been standing on the little table and hurled it at his father, who was temporarily held up by the deafening crash. Kastron used that time to go back to his spot under the bed, hoping his father wouldn't find him.

Eldor wondering why the door was closed, promptly opened it to find an enraged captain utterly destroying the remnants of their cabin. He looked around quickly for Kastron but decided the boy had escaped and closed the door, locking it behind him.

Kastron heard the door open and close, and thought Eldor had finally made it back, so out from under the bed he came, but was confused as to the fact that Eldor was missing. He rushed towards the door, his father running after him, only to find it locked! "What in the world of all mop brandishing rum birds is this!?!", he thought to himself, retelling the door until it fell off. The captain rushed a Kastron much like a bull, but Kastron sidestepped and rolled under his father's feet. The captain, carried on by his momentum, ran full force against the door, which proceeded to join the doorhandle on the floor.

Eldor strode back on deck and stuck his hands in his pockets whistling Leave her Johny, leave her, while leisurely walking around in search of Kastron, ''now where in the name of doggon cats did that jar headed layabout of a cabin boy get to,'' Eldor mused.

Kastron saw his opportunity of the broken down door, and made good use of it. He ran into the galley, Captain Edgewood still chasing after him like a ghost, albeit a drunken one, and was running into the walls. After utterly destroying what was left of the galley, Kastron quickly scrammed up a rafter, waiting to see how his father would respond to that.

Eldor heard a lot of crashing from below decks and thought that that had to be the captain breaking from his temporary prison, he contemplated briefly wether he should hide and wait until the storm blew over, immediately dispelled the thought and marched down towards the galley.
