Aboard the Rum Cask

[Chloriosus]

Kastron fingered the hilt and blade carefully. "She's a beautiful one.", he said admiringly. "Ye'll spear lots of things with her, I'll be bound." He carefully handed it back to ELdor.

Eldor gently replaced the knife, ''thanks, if it turns out well I could probably sell it for good amount of money.''

[Chloriosus]

"Presently Kastron said, "Well, I'm not sure about you, but I haven't broke my fast yet, so I'll go down to the galley an' get somthin'." Eldor nodded, and Kastron walked out the door. He walked quietly down the passage way. "There is no way I'm eating that octopus-forsaken soup today.",he thought to himself. He quietly entered the galley and looked around for the biscuits, only to fin Gerenway, the first mate, poking around, also looking for something. "Ha!", Kastron thought"that gone wrong shark spit is looking for the biscuits. As if the soup wasn't good enough for him!" Gerenway was apparently thinking about the same thing, for he made a grab for Kastrons arm and shook him slightly. "Ye little minnow livered scallywag! Wait 'till yer aunt hears about this. She will skin you alive." Kastron let out a laugh. "Lay it off, you ain't telling no one nothing." "And who are you to stop me?, said Gerenway, tightening his grip. Kastron shrugged. " Your heads like a coconut.", he replied, "Ugly and hard, but hollow inside, with a bunch of dim juice sloshing around in it." Kastron had located the container with biscuits behind him, and while he was stalling Gerenway, who took a few moments to contemplate wether or not the comparison made sense, he was using his other arm to fill Gerenway's back pocket with biscuits. "Why you little impudent shrimp." Gerenway had finally figured out the comparison."I'll tell on you, you can be sure about that." Kastron looked at him with a small smile. "Of course you wil.", he finally said respectfully. "I would also like to say somethin' else." With that Kastron used his free hand to throw the keg of biscuits of the table where it stood on, resulting in a sound that Aunt Pessilys knew as the sound that was heard when someone was messing around with the biscuits. She was there in less than a minute (which was pretty fast for her). "Ah, miss",said Gerenway. "This piece of fish soup was wantin' to steal the biscuits.", AUnt Pessilys looked at Kastron angrily. "No I didn't,", Kastron defended himself. "It was him that was stealing, his pockets are full." Gerenway looked at his pocket, which was filled to the brim. Aunt Pessilys had reached peak anger now, for no one, NO ONE touched her biscuits. She grabbed a pot and threw it at Gerenway. She threw a great deal of other things at Gerenway. Kastron grabbed a few biscuits, and calmly walked down the passageway, into the cabin.

Eldor was trying out his blade by whittling his name into one of the vertical beams of the ship, when suddenly he heard a great crashing sound, followed by quiet a bit of yelling. Just then Kastron opened the door and calmly walked in, ''what was that all about,?'' Eldor asked.

[Chloriosus]

"Oh nothing to be worried about, Gerenway got caught stealin' biscuits. The audacity of it!", Kastron shook his head while unloading the biscuits in his pocket.

Eldor raised an eyebrow but decided it wise not to ask, he was starving and thankfully wolfed down some of the biscuits, ''what are these?'' he asked, swallowing a biscuit.

[Chloriosus]

"Its a biscuit", said Kastron flatly, then took one and gobbled it down.

Eldor rolled his eyes but didn't say anything. After they had finished the biscuits he said, ''I think I'll go on deck to get some air.''

[Chloriosus]

Kastron shrugged. "Just don't tell anyone we ate biscuits.", he called after him, then followed him out the door.

Eldor leaned out over the railing looking down at the waves churning below him, suddenly he felt a wave of seasickness wash over him, he quickly turned around and faced the deck. ''Oh great look who's coming,'' Eldor said watching as Kastron's younger sister approached them, just the sight of her made him feel worse than seasickness.

Emmalinda flounced beside them and stood beside Eldor. "Hi Elrod, would ye like me to show ye around? Kasy doesn't do things like that ye know." Kastron glared at her. "Get his name right, you wood brain, it's Eldorken, not Elrod!"

Eldor though not feeling very civil at the moment, especially since she got his name wrong AGAIN, tried to at least sound nice, ''no thank you, I think I know all the places of importance on this ship,'' he looked extremely uncomfortable and seemed to be trying to find a place of escape.

Emmalinda looked at him and blinked her eyes at him trying to do it fast and graceful, and completely failing. Kastron went over to her and started rubbing her eyes very fast and hard. "KASY!", Emmalinda was outraged. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?" Kastron stepped back in mock surprise. "Well, it seemed ye got somethin' in your eyes so I helped you. You really are a specimen of ungreatful lobster, 'speccialy with your newly diganosed case of the ugly."

Eldor covered his mouth and snickered. Suddenly the captain passed by bellowing ridiculous orders ''HOIST UP THE RUDDER, PORT TO STARBOARD, BELAY YE SWABS, BULWARKS AHOY, LOWER THE TWO KNOTS TREE MASTS, and other such nonsense. Eldor though at the first sound of the captain disappeared suddenly, he had hidden himself behind some nearby barrels hoping not to be found out by the captain.

Kastron walked over to him and started laughing. "Ye needn't fear him right now, he's almost sober, and in a good mood. Ye can come out. 'Sides, he ain't mad at YOU, he thought that he was chasin' ME, so you should be able to show yerself 'thout havin' to scatter all over deck."
