Hymir turned his attention to the guard that approached him, inclining his head the slightest at his greeting. A slight smile graced his muzzle, his flaming eyes softening at the request and the caring way in which is mate responded. "You may Storm, but please discuss it with Zander, as he will not be able to take the guard each morning" he spoke calmly, pausing before adding "If Zander requests aid, I will speak with the Omega and order him to assist Zander." he said with a slightly more serious look. "Speak with him and then return to me with the answer" he concluded, inclining his head once again to indicate that was all he had to say.

When the morning's assignments were given Vedana stood and silently made her way closer to the Alpha's den waiting her turn until the guard had departed, ''My Luna,'' Vedana said, bowing low, ''I have come to present to you my assistance if you have need of it this day,'' she asked, still in the humble position before her Luna.

Fisaga listened eagerly to the commands, a somehow even wider grin spreading over her muzzle. As soon as the Alpha was finished speaking, she began. "I told you Fenian! We're going to scout today! Oh and the north to east corner too!! That one's the most exciting. And it's easiest to make fog over there too, except in the morning. When do you think we should leave? I think we might need to eat first, I'm starving! Cyanide, do you think you might be going hunting soon?" her direction of speech changing swiftly without warning "How long do you think it will take you to catch something? I want to leave as soon as possible, but i also really want to eat first" she said, her voice turning thoughtful at the end as she had to draw a breath from her long dialogue of speech. Fenian swiftly stepped in before she could continue her barrage "It usually takes them at least an hour, and I say we rest up and prepare, then grab a bite to eat before departing" he said quietly, getting to his feet and nudging his sister gently, knowing that a hunter's patience could only last so long.

Frost let out a smile. “Why thank you” she said. Frost thought for a moment. “Could you make sure the wolves that are nursing or expecting pups are comfortable?” She asked. “Especially Moonlight. She’s due any day” frost said.

Storm padded up to Zander. “Zander” he said. “I was hoping you could take the guarding today” he said. “Our alpha has said I could have the day to spend with my mate as she’s going to give birth to our pups soon” he said. “Would that be alright with you?” He asked

Vedana bowed again, ''as you wish my Luna,'' she responded before retreating from the den. Quietly she made her where the off- duty wolves resided, watching as she walked the hunting party made ready to depart, she was carful to be silent so as not to disturb the resting females. Swiftly she found the young pregnant wolf. ''Moonlight how are you feeling today? Is there anything you need.'' She had always wanted pups but had never been given the blessing, instead she found solace in helping other young wolves who were.

Moonlight rose her head from where she lay. “I could use some prey if you don’t mind” Moonlight said as her pups kicked at her ribs. “Oh…and maybe Storm, if he’s not busy that is” she said, nudging at her still growing belly, wishing her pups would stop attacking her ribs.

Cyanide was a little annoyed with being stuck as a hunter again. She hadn't really expected anything different, but she was still a little disappointed. She got up quietly and walked softly out of the clearing. As she stalked through the woods, she heard small sound of a deer walking somewhere in the distance. Her ears pierced up, and she listened closely, then slowly but attentively started following the sound. Food wasn't always easy to find, and she didn't want to lose her prey.

Zander looked at Cobalt "I wish you luck on the hunt" Zander said to her mate as he went to talk with the other hunters, she ran towards Storm "I understand if you want to be with your mate it is vital you be there to support her" she said to Storm, she then went to speak with Hymir " I would like to have Dellion with me for today Alpha I fear the rival pack is getting bolder and wanting to test our pack more then ever" Zander said, as she waited for Hymir to speak and allow the omega to join her on her duty, she was rather patient and would wait as long as it took for Hymir to either approve her request or tell her to patrol alone .

Intro everyone
Cobalt looked around for Cyanide or one of the other hunters but it was clear he would be hunting on his own again, which frustrated him as they should be working as a team not as one wolf hunting alone, rather than complain he ran off out of the clearing towards the hunting grounds and went to work sniffing the air for any prey he could smell a lone deer downwind from where he stood, he carefully ran downwind keeping tabs on the deer as he ran so he wouldn't lose it's location, he then carefully sneaked up on the deer keeping in mind at all times of the wind direction he didn't want to kill the deer if the wind was facing the deer possibly alerting the deer to his presence, so he found the best attack position and ran at the deer leaping onto it's back he kept his paws steady as he bit down on the deer's neck his teeth crushing bones and muscles, he leaped off as the deer started to fall to the ground he waited for it to die before using his strength to get a grip on the deer to take it back to the pack, but then he paused was that one of the rival pack's wolves scent he caught coming in his direction, "Great just what I needed a fight over my hard caught kill" Cobalt said with a slight growl.

Hymir smiled courteously to Vedana as she padded up to them and spoke to his mate, then turned his head as he heard the two voices of the guards discussing together. As Zander moved towards him, he inclined his head slightly and listened patiently. "I agree, Zander. If you will remain here, I will go speak with the Omega" he said, pausing to be sure the female would do as he asked before swiftly trotting through the clearing, following the trail the Omega had taken. As he passed members of his pack he had a kind smile and a swift greeting ready. Moving to the outskirts of the dens, he caught sight of Dellion up ahead, and let out a sharp bark to let him know he was being called upon.

Intro Moonlight and Vedana
Eika looked at her pups "I am not in the mood today besides Moonlight needs some quiet" Eika said to her pups, she then licked Sage and her two other pups and then got to her paws walking over to Moonlight, the pups were okay to be left alone for short periods of times as they didn't need her milk as often as they did when they were younger, "Hello Moonlight and Vedana everything alright" she asked concerned for Moonlight's well being.

Moonlight smiled and looked over at Eika. “Well these pups are kicking my ribs” Moonlight said. “They’re due any day, but each day they get more restless” Moonlight said as she nudged at her belly again, wishing her pups to stop kicking. “Eika” said. “If it’s not to much trouble, do you think you can find Storm for me?” She asked. “I can watch the pups for you” she said.

Sage carefully followed Eika curious to know where she was going he then stopped seeing another mother wolf and an elderly-looking wolf, "Who are they mom are they friendly" he barked which caught Eika's attention, "What are you doing over here go back and lay down with your siblings they don't need you under their paws" Eika scolded him, he then walked back defeated to lay down by his siblings watching his mom talking to two strange wolves, it wasn't fair he wanted to explore the den but instead he was forced to stay with his siblings in this boring old den where nothing exciting ever happened.

Cyanide had been stalking the deer for a little while now. She finally caught up to it when it reached a clearing. The deer, sensing something wrong, bolted. She swiftly ran after it, and it bit it into its neck. Her fangs penetrated deeply, and she quickly withdrew them. Her poison worked fast, and in a few moments the deer lay still on the soft forest floor. Cyanide picked it up with her teeth, trying to make sure they didn’t penetrate the skin, and dragged it with her, when she saw Cobalt standing in the wood. She quickly sensed what was worrying him: the scent of at least one of the rival wolves. She froze, and quietly observed the area.
