At the sound of the Alpha’s sharp summon, Dellion swiftly dropped what he was doing and ran towards his alpha flattening himself on the ground before Hymir. Great, he thought, exactly what I needed today, a summon from the Alpha himself.

“ I am sorry Moonlight but there is no prey right now, the hunters have only just departed,” she said in her soft soothing voice, “they should return soon. And your mate has just asked leave of the Alpha if he can be with you this day.” At Erika’s approach Vedana smiled a greeting, “yes we are fine. How are you with those pups,” she asked smiling in a friendly way towards Sage, she always loved pups.

Moonlight nodded and nuzzled the little pup who came over before his mother shooed him away. “Well then, that’s perfect because I think the pups are coming soon” moonlight said as she sat up to give her pelt a good grooming. Her growing belly, was swollen and heavy with her unborn pups.

Intro Dellion and Hymir

Zander could hear the reluctant paw steps of Dellion it wasn't fair that he had been summoned but she couldn't do her job alone as the rival pack was getting bolder by the day, "I am worried that Alpine might soon mount an attack against our pack his pack has stolen three pieces of prey from us already" Zander said to Hymir, having heard that bit of news from Cobalt and the other hunters herself, she had been disappointed upon hearing that bit of news as she had done nothing to ensure the hunting grounds had been free of the rival pack, she waited for Dellion to arrive before getting to her paws the grey tip of her tail gently brushing the grass as she got to her paws, she would let Hymir speak to Dellion feeling in no way ready to tell him why he had been summoned.

intro Cyanide and Ravine

Cobalt could just make out the scent it was female there were very few female hunters in the rival pack but he was positive this was the hunter wolf called Ravine, she had stolen at least two of there hard earned kills by force and that had angered Cobalt and the other hunters, he could then scent Cyanide but before he could react or get Cyanide's attention Ravine jumped out of the bushes landing on top of him, "I will be taking that deer off of your paws or if you're brave enough fight me for it" Ravine said, he had enough of that cocky she wolf this time he would fight, she leaped off as he snarled letting him get to his paws, "if it is a fight you want it is a fight you will get" Cobalt growled as his blue eyes glowed making vines appear out of the ground ensnaring the she wolf who snarled, "You think that will stop me hunter please I have faced tougher opponents then you" Ravine said as she bit at the vines which snapped between her teeth, he couldn't fight her or protect the deer alone as there could be other wolves from Ravine's pack around.

Eika turned her attention to Vedana "there fine but I'm worried about Sage he just doesn't seem like his trouble-making self" Eika said answering the elder's question, she had a soft spot for pups even when she had been a pack luna in Eclipse's pack, she had been so glad when the pups were born safe from there father, but she still knew that she couldn't keep the pups in the den forever they needed to play and get to know the pack but she was worried about one wolf, in particular, Cyanide she didn't want her anywhere near her pups as she had heard about Cyanide's poisonous teeth.

Int. Dellion, Zander

Hymir kept his eyes trained impassively on the Omega as he sped towards him swiftly, dropping before him in submission and waiting silently for his command. At the guard's comment he flicked an ear slightly, glancing over to her. "I am aware of the situation" he spoke in a grave tone, having been alerted to it days earlier. "Measures are being taken to assure us of Alpine's movements" he added, then turned to the Omega as Zander left them to speak. "You will follow Zander on patrol this day, as long as she has need of you. I give you leave to speak with her if necessary to alert her of any findings you may encounter. Obey her without question. Your duties will await you when you return." His words were commanding but his tone was not overly harsh, as no matter the station of the wolf he spoke to, Alpha Hymir always attempted to show a degree of respectfulness to each member of his pack. Not waiting for the Omega's response to this order, he turned to Zander. "Keep your senses on high alert, I feel a restless shifting in the wind" he growled, a frown creasing his forehead for a moment as a zephyr brushed by his dark fur.

Moonlight nodded. “Well, maybe take the pups out…outside” she said as her pups kicked her again. Moonlight’s eyes were glazed with pain and she settled herself back down in her bed, panting now. She knew panting usually helped the kicks, but these were stronger than normal. “C..can one of you two find Storm?” She asked through gritted teeth. “I think the pups are coming”

Sage could see his siblings looking at him "Nice going Sage now who knows when we will leave this boring den" said Aloe one of his siblings, he knew his siblings didn't like him but he didn't expect Aloe to say something like that right to his face, he then found the exit of the den and ran outside before Eika could react, he was surprised by how big their home was he had only seen the den where he had been born nothing else, "wow this place is amazing I'm happy my siblings aren't here to ruin this" Sage barked, as he scented many strange wolves some he faintly recognized as the ones that had helped his mom get better others were unfamiler.

Dellion waited silently as the alpha spoke to him. Well this is something different, he thought, I might actually enjoy myself. As the alpha left Dellion remained in his position awaiting orders from Zander.

Frost usually got bored in the mornings as she didn’t have much to do. She padded up to her mate and placed her tail on his back. “My love” she whispered in his ear. “I’m going to go out hunting, is that alright?” She asked, licking his ear

Int Cobalt, Ravine, River

Cyanide still stood there silently. She had never met Ravine before. Dragging her kill with her she quickly hid it and then rushed to Cobalt, who was still fighting with Ravine. She felt she still had some poison left, not enough to kill the opponent wolf, but enough to paralyze her. She was about to pounce and bite, when Ravine was joined was joined by River, another hunter of her pack. Cyanide would have to act smart if Cobalt and her were to win this. She leapt at Ravine in an attempt to bite but was thrown off by River. Quickly, she sank her teeth into his leg. He yellped in pain but still tried to fight, when he fell to the floor, the poison doing it's work.

Zander

Zander would look at Dellion "If any of the rival pack wolves are near are border let me know as I will be patrolling the west and north sides of our territory you can take the east and south sides if you even catch a scent of the rival pack come find me" Zander said, she wasn't good at giving orders but she tried her best to sound like she meant what she said, she waited for Dellion to get to his paws and follow her until they were on the pack border, then they would head in separate directions to guard and patrol the borders, she could feel the wind brushing against her fur but ignored it, she then looked up at the clouds they were very dark looking like a storm was coming in there direction, she had heard the Alpha's words and was going to be on high alert for the patrol and watching the sky every chance she got to.

Swiftly Dellion got to his feet and took his place behind Zander, alone and patrolling this might not be such a bad day after all. Dellion felt the wind comb through the his fur, he wondered if there would be any action at the borders.

Hymir pensively gazed into the woods for a few moments, but was shaken from his thoughts as his mate padded up to him. He smiled and gently touched his nose to hers briefly. "I know you're restless, but I don't think today would be best for that... there's something off... I can't place my paw on it, but I feel the need to take a scout of the territory myself, and I need you here to watch the pack while i'm gone." he noticed a look pass over her face and nudged her gently as he got to his paws. "I know you would rather be out with me, but I must have my former Beta watching out for the pack for me, it would bring me ease of mind and help me to focus on my surroundings. If it eases your own mind any, I will be taking Fisaga and Fenian with me" he added.
