intro Cyanide, Ravine, and River

Cobalt faced Ravine "Face it you have lost this time I wouldn't try your luck against Cyanide," Cobalt said seeing Ravine recoil from the shock of seeing her packmate end up paralyzed, she faced Cobalt and Cyanide trying to look brave " You're just an earth wolf and the other hunter only has poisonous teeth I think I will take those odds," Ravine said as she rushed Cyanide ramming into her, he then focused on the ground in front of him and a shallow pit appeared which was actually not shallow but deep enough they could not easily climb out, "Cyanide try and lure her into that pit and hurry I can't hold it for long," Cobalt said in a voice that was low enough for Cyanide to hear but not Ravine, he was focused on the pit and didn't hear another wolf approaching him, they leaped at Cobalt there teeth finding his right shoulder he yelped in pain and tried to throw the other wolf off but they were far stronger then him, he looked at the attacking wolf's fur it was black his first thought was why was Zander attacking him but then he looked at the tail tip there was no grey.

Luna
Int: Hymir, Violet

Frost looked a little disappointed, but she knew her mate meant well when he needed to go out. She licked his ears again. "alright, just be safe please" she said, as she nuzzled him and padded around the pack's camp . She settled herself down in the front of her den, and curved her tail around her paws as she watched the pack move about their duties. Violet was just immerging from the scout/hunter/guard den, as she saw Frost and made her way over. Frost smiled as her friend padded up to her and sat beside her. "hey Violet" she said, nuzzling her friend. Violet smiled and returned her nuzzled. "hi my luna" she said, nuzzling her. "You know I've told you to call me Frost" Frost said. Violet nodded. "I know, but your mate is still near, and I don't want to get in trouble with him" Violet said.

Cyanide

Int Cobalt, Ravine

Cyanide watched another wolf spring Cobalt. She would have gone to help him, but she knew the odds would be better if she had more poison, and for that she would have to wait a few minutes. Seeing that those were would be minutes of time she didn't have, she decided to obey Cobalt and lure Ravine into the pit. Ravine was somewhat bigger than her, as well as older, and Cyanide had to be careful for her plan to work. She sprang Ravine, who rolled over her, almost knocking Cyanide down. "Pathetic.", Cyanide said looking Ravine in the eye. "Is that all you've got?" Ravine snarled and sprang at her. Cyanide stepped back. "You've gotten bolder, I see. You might try springing with more force.", she taunted. Ravine snarled again and jumped at her again. This time, Cyanide stepped to the side and knocked Ravine into the pit, then rushed back to Cobalt, who was fighting bravely despite his bad shoulder.

Hymir smiled at this and nodded "I will" he promised gently, watching her pad away and then moving off himself in search of the scout twins. It didn't take him long to find them. "Ok but they still haven't come back, and if they haven't come back then that means we can't go out, but we could still go out and scout shorter and eat when we get back and then go out again." came a cheerful voice from the clearing. Despite himself, the alpha smiled slightly. That young scout, always so bubbly! And yet somehow still one of the best scouts he had. Rounding the corner of the scouting den, he found himself face to face with the two scouts, one who looked surprised and excited at his appearance, and the other as if he'd been expecting him. Which he probably had. "Fisaga, Fenian, I am aware that I gave you the option to await the hunter's return, but I have need of a scouting trip immediately, which you two will accompany me on" he spoke firmly. Fenian dipped his head "Of course my Alpha, we can depart immediately" he said, standing, his clouded eyes resting, unseeing on his Alpha. Fisaga, who'd been catching her breath during this, swiftly found her voice "Oh a scouting trip with you? That sounds amazing! Let's go right now!" she said, hopping to her feet, even as Fenian gave her a warning tap with his tail. After all, it was the Alpha! Hymir glanced at her then allowed a light smile and motioned with his head "I am pleased to find you both ready and eager." he said, then got serious once again. "I believe the south eastern corner is where I would like to head, the same direction the hunters took earlier. Even if our scouting trip avails nothing, I am sure they could use the security escort" he spoke as he began moving towards the forest. Fisaga managed to tune down her fast speech, but couldn't resist speaking again, despite Fenian's cold staring glare. "Oh good!! That means we can get the food back even faster and eat even sooner!" she said, then at Fenian's repeated nudges, fell silent, which took quite a lot of concentration for her.

int. Eika, Moonlight

Vedana smiled at Eika, ''well if you ever need any help with them, or you need a break, I can pup-sit or something.'' She turned to Moonlight, ''of course,'' she said, swiftly but calmly she ran out of the cave in search of Storm.

"Thank you" Moonlight said, as she panted more. She was now sure that the pups were coming, she just hoped that Vedana would be able to find Storm in time...where was her mate when she needed him? Moonlight wondered to herself

Storm was just padding away from Frost when he saw Vedana appear from the off duty wolves den. He padded up to her. She looked frazzled. "Vedana?" he asked, questioningly. "is something wrong?" he asked, looking concerned now. Was Moonlight ok? he wondered as his mind began racing and his heart began pounding.

Vedana turned her calm gaze to the guard, ''Your mate believes it is time,'' she said quietly, ''she asked you come quickly.''

"thank you" Storm said, as he bolted the rest of the way to the off duty's den. He pushed his way inside, and found his mate panting in her bed. "I'm here" he said, nuzzling her. Moonlight looked up, pain filling her eyes as she looked at her mate. "Its time Storm" she said. Storm nuzzled her. "Its alright, love" he said. "I'm right here" he promised, settling himself down in front of her, as he nuzzled her lovingly again. "breathe Moonlight" he said. "I'll be right back" he said. Moonlight looked at him. "no!" she begged. Storm turned and nodded, "alright" he said

Eika would turn around and walk back to her pups but she could only see Aloe and Shard where was Sage she wondered she tried her best not to panic it was highly unlikely Sage would have gone far and she didn't want to worry her two other pups by acting frantic, "you two stay here please and do not get in Moonlight's way" Eika said before walking outside the den, she could pick up Sage's scent but there was something else a scent she didn't like nearby, it had the scent of Moss there rival pack's Luna but why would she come all the way here wasn't Alpine with her she thought.

Sage could scent a strange she-wolf she wasn't too far from him so he ran towards the strange she-wolf, " who are you" Sage barked the strange she-wolf got to her paws, " My name is Moss little one" said Moss in a gentle tone he could scent something strange on Moss's fur it was harsh and irritated his nose, "What's all over your fur" he asked Moss there was something wrong with Moss but he couldn't pinpoint what it was, "I don't know pup but I wish I did" Moss said before she fell onto her side right in front of Sage, "What is wrong ..tell me I can heal you" Sage said.

Dvergr
Guard

Dvergr rose and stretched lazily, he had had a long night of guarding and slept in for a bit, missing the Alpha's morning meeting. He stepped outside the den and sniffed the air, as was his routine every morning. He saw Eika begin sniffing about, searching for something. Moving silently toward her, he wondered what was wrong.

Hymir smiled slightly at the female's parting remark as he quickened his pace, loping into the forest and along the scouting path that led to the east. He could hear the two scouts swiftly pacing themselves behind him, and after a few minutes he realized that he hadn't arranged them in the most efficient manner as of yet. Slowing, he turned his head to bark over his shoulder. "Fisaga, if you would, please come to the front. I have a feeling that I may need your sight, and it is more of use in front than behind" he explained as she quickly trotted up to him. "Of course Alpha, I'd be glad to" she said with another cheerful smile "How far ahead do you want me to run?" she added. He glanced at the path "Just about two wolf lengths" he answered, to which she nodded "Ok! I'll let you know the minute  I see anything! Well not anything, I mean not if i just see a bird or a squirrel, but If i see any wolves. Or do you want me to be looking for anything? Or are we just looking for wolves?" she asked, her voice running on and changing from thoughtful to excited to pensive to questioning without a hitch. Hymir blinked slightly at this barrage. "Just wolves" he clarified shortly, then motioned swiftly for her to move on ahead, letting out a slight sigh of relief as her attention was focused on her job once more and she loped on ahead. "Would you like to stay where I am, Alpha?" came the calm voice of Fenian behind him, and he glanced back to him "Yes, Fenian, but keep your senses alert, for both wolves and any dead prey. It could be the hunters returning" he barked out swiftly. The cloudy eyed wolf gave a nod, his ears pricking even more at this as he began giving his attention to his surroundings. Having organized things to his liking, Hymir swiftly picked up a lope once again and the three moved through the forest at a fast clip, the bright sun glinting off the contrasting coats of the now silent trio.

"you can do this Moonlight" Storm said, reassuringly, nuzzling her again. Moonlight's eyes were still glazed with pain...and after what felt like forever, the pain stopped, and 3 tiny pups were squirming at her belly. Moonlight smiled and licked each of them before licking her mate. "our pups are here" she whispered to him. Storm felt pride flow off him and for his mate, as he watched his three tiny pups squirming at their mothers belly. "I'll be right back darling" he said, nuzzling her, as he raced out of the den. Moonlight nodded, as she nuzzled her pups again, pulling them closer to her to keep them warm.

Storm burst out of the off duty den, his eyes glowing. "OUR PUPS ARE HERE!" He said, joyfully. Frost looked up from where she sat, and she stood up, making her way over to him. "congratulations!" she said, nuzzling him. "thank you my luna" Storm said, before he turned and padded back to his mate and three new pups. "so" he whispered. "what are we going to call them?" he asked. Moonlight looked up. "I'm not sure, right now" she said, licking her mate and pups once more.

As Dellion began walking toward the south east he began grumbling again, ''well that's just great, the one day I actually get an ''off'' of my general duties, the sky wants to rain on me.''He quickened his pace as he entered the denser part of the forest, knowing that if it indeed did start raining then at least he would have some protection. His mind began wandering as he traversed the well known patrol path, ''I wonder if I will see any rouge wolves,'' he thought to himself, ''probably not,'' he answered himself sullenly, ''but if I did and I fought it myself,'' again he answered himself, ''well you won't Dellion so stick to your job and keep an eye out.''

Zander felt the rain on her fur she let it fall on her fur as she kept walking the border, she could scent faint traces of the rival pack near the border but not fresh and recent ones, "I hope Cobalt and the other hunters are alright" she said as she walked towards the border that marked the end of there territory, she let out a growl as a coyote daringly crossed the border "Don't even think about it coyote I will end you before you even speak" Zander said facing the coyote who didn't look concerned at all, "I wouldn't dream of it wolf I know who you are Zander" the Coyote spoke that confused Zander a lot, "How do you know my name ...you don't have powers do you" Zander said trying to make sense of what the coyote said to her, " No I have no powers but I know your name from your sister ...Juniper that wolf could talk a bear into giving up its berries" the coyote said.
