Bella looked up wearily, from vomiting. "for what?" she barley managed to ask

Thunder nuzzled her again "I made you eat it... i told you it was fine" he said penitently.

[Abbster]

"It...It isn't your fault" Bella said. "I...I had to" She said, suddenly leaning forward and vomiting again. She fell back beside her mate, and began trembling from the loss of fluids.

Thunder winced then hugged her against him. "Oh my Belle... I know, but... i'm still so sorry"

[Abbster]

Bella tired to smile, but she just leaned against her mate instead. “It’s ok darling.” Bella said. “I don’t blame you” she promised.

Thunder licked her ear gently. "I know darling.... i know, thank you" he said quietly.

[Abbster]

Bella smiled. “Y…you know I’ll always forgive you” she promised, as Liberty padded back inside. “Thunder…I know you’ll hate this” Liberty said. Bella looked at Liberty and then at her mate. “Thunder, you can’t sleep with Bella tonight.” Liberty said. “The pups will need one of their parents.” She added. “And my den in right over here, so I’ll be able to keep an eye on her.” She promised.

Thunder smiled and nuzzled her again "I know" he said, licking her ear again, then looking up as Liberty padded in. His ears flattened. "But Liberty... I can't leave her when she's sick!" he pleaded, looking torn.

[Abbster]

“Thunder…you have to” Bella said. “The pups…the pups need one of us” she said, as she could see the pack begin to darken. “Thunder, please.” Liberty said. “You have to. I promise, I’ll be up a lot tonight.” She said.

Thunder finally nuzzled his mate and nodded. "I promise I'll come back as soon as morning breaks my darling. Good night my sweete Belle" he said, licking her nose and ear then heaving a sigh, getting to his paws and leaving.

[Abbster]

Bella felt herself begin to tremble. “Dont so it” Liberty said. “I…I need him” Bella said. “I know.” Liberty responded. “But it’ll be ok” she promised, before she gave Bella some sleeping herbs. Bella’s eyes fluttered closed and she fell asleep…although she didn’t sleep long. When she woke up, it was about midnight. “Thunder?” Bella said, looking around. Liberty ran out of her den. “Bella” she said. “It’s ok, you’re ok” Liberty said.

Thunder paused outside the den, almost racing back in, then pushing himself onwards, climbing to his den and dismissing Aurora before snuggling against his pups. But he hardly fell asleep, only dozing on and off here and there, missing the feel and sound and scent of his mate beside him.

In the morning, Bella was still asleep, but when she woke up again…she screamed for Thunder. She looked around for him, as Liberty raced in. “It’s ok” she said. “Thunder will be here soon” Liberty promised. “How do you feel?” She asked. Bella shrugged. “I…I don’t know” she said.

Thunder was just dozing when the sun rose, and heard his mate's scream from the den, leaping to his paws and dashing out of the den. Drake was sitting outside his den, and Thunder skidded up to him. "Get aurora or another female to watch the pups, and take care of the morning duties" he said hastily, then raced to Liberty's den, bursting in and flying to his mate's side. "Oh Bella" he said, nuzzling her lovingly.

Drake gave a slight sigh, then padded to Clover and Fang's den, poking his head in to see if Aurora could watch the pups.

“You’re here!” Bella said, as her mate pushed his way through the den. She pressed against him, and finally felt his warmth. “I missed you” she whispered, as she snuggled against him.

Aurora rose her sleepy head. “Hi Drake” she said, sitting up
