Bella sat down and she gazed at the mother. "I know this is hard on you both" Bella said with a sigh of her own. "Loosing three pups at once....its like loosing a part of you." Bella said as she looked at Ginger. "If you need some air, I can stay with her" Bella suggested.

Remus sighed, tears coming to his eyes before he blinked them away, clearing his throat hoarsely and nuzzling his mate again. "It is" he said quietly, then glanced at her. "I would like to hunt and get some water" he admitted, but then suddenly flattened his ears. "Could... could you post a guard at the door as well? I... I would feel safer" he said, a bit embarrassedly. He trusted the Luna to protect his mate, but that dream.... of that dark dog... he couldn't shake it.

Bella nodded. "Of course, I will have Thunder get right on that" Bella said as she trotted out of the den and back over to her mate. She nuzzled him. "I am going to stay with Ginger while Remus gets some air, could you post a guard at the entrance to the healers den? Remus said he'd feel safer" Bella said to her mate

Thunder looked up from where he was watching over the pups, and nodded, swiftly turning to bark for Fang, then nuzzling his mate. "Thank you for helping them" he said softly, glad to have her by his side in such delicate matters.
Fang lifted his head and licked his mates nose. "The Alpha calls" he said softly. "I'll return soon" he assured her before padding out to answer.

Bella nodded before she turned and trotted swiftly back to the healers den. "I think he is sending Fang to guard." Bella said. "He should be here soon" She promised Remus
Clover nodded. "Alright" She said, as she pulled her pups closer to her

Remus dipped his head gratefully. "Thank you Luna" he said, then nuzzled his mate as he waited.
Thunder watched as the husky emerged from his den, glancing about then trotting over. "I need you to go stand guard over Ginger at the healers den, Remus wishes to stretch his legs and get water and food" he said firmly. Fang dipped his head. "Of course Alpha" he said easily, loping over to the den and sticking his head in, lowering it to the Luna then smiling gently to Remus, an understanding look in his eyes. "Take a breather, I promise I won't let anything past me" he said stoutly.
Remus gave a nod to the husky, reluctantly getting to his paws, looking down at his mate hesitantly before licking her head. "I'll be back soon, I promise" he said softly.

Ginger could hear a bit of talking from Remus..and what sounded like the luna, but she was to out of it to notice her mate leave.
Bella dipped her head to Fang and then glanced over at the two small pups beside Ginger's belly. It shouldn't have ended like this. Bella thought to herself. She and Remus should have all five pups...not two. She closed her eyes for a moment before she lay herself down. With a small sigh the glanced at Ginger. "they're going to be ok, and so will you" she whispered to the mother.

Thunder looked up as Remus came trotting from the den, stretching violently, then sprinting into the forest, most likely to hunt.
Remus dashed into the forest, faster than a normal lope, his legs needing to stretch. His paws crunched over the forest leaves, thudding on the soft dirt, rhythmic. With a quick jump he sprang over a large fallen tree, then veered off to stay nearer to the outer trails. Speed was good. It helped... with everything.

Miracle began to squirm a little bit beside her mother, small little whines were heard from her. Bella looked up and gently nuzzled the pup. "shh" Bella said calmly. "Its ok, your mama's right beside you" Bella promised...just as Ginger awoke. "Remus?" Ginger asked, looking at Bella. "Bella? W...where's Remus? I...is he dead?" She asked suddenly. "Hey, no, Remus isn't dead. He just wanted to stretch his legs." Bella said. "He'll come back soon, ok, I promise." Bella said soothingly. Ginger nodded and lay her head back down on her paws with a sigh.

Remus dashed through the undergrowth until his muscles started feeling strained, and only then did he loop back around, slowing his mad dash to a steady lope. Already his thoughts were on his mate once again. He couldn't bear the thought of being away from her any longer than he was, especially not with those foreboding dreams. What could those dreams mean? His brows furrowed worriedly. Surely they were nothing... but they were SO vivid.
