"I remember that" Charger said, looking down at the grass for a second. "I guess if Bluebell and I are meant to be together, then we will be, and if we're not...then I can find another mare" Charger said, nuzzling her a little bit. "Hey, just a reminder for you." He joked. "Be careful with that rouge stallion" Charger pointed out. "You don't know what he's planning." Charger added. "For all we both know, he could be planning to take this herd. I'm not saying that he is or anything, just be careful, ok?" Charger asked, nuzzling her again. "I care about you, you know that. I care more about you than I do other horses. Us being friends is something I always cherish" Charger told her, with a smile.

"I don't think that you have anything to worry about, Charger. You're a very striking stallion. A mare would be a fool, to not see the qualities that you have to offer. You're smart and kind, and you always look out for the safety of others. Honestly, if you weren't in this herd, you'd be a pretty good lead stallion," Elara says, as she nuzzles him in return. Flicking her ears at his next comment, she nods. "I know. I'm not going to take my chances, until I know for sure that he is trustworthy. He's a good stallion, but I'm not going to just assume that he is completely safe. We're friends, Charger. I'm not going to do something, that will put us both at risk, nor will I do anything that will jeopardize the safety of the herd," She says.

Charger nodded. “I know you won’t” he said, and then suddenly a neigh was heard. Chargers head lifted up and looked around and then saw it. “BLUEBELL!” He screamed. Two humans had her caught in a rope. Charger looked at Elara. “I have to help her!” Charger said his nostrils flaring. Suddenly, without thinking, Charger reared and he galloped towards Bluebell. “IM COMING BLUEBELL” Charger neighed to her, as he got closer and closer to her. Charger neighed at the humans and he reared again, slamming his hooves down on the rope, causing it to snap. “Run!” Charger said to her. Bluebell stared at him. She blinked and continued to stare at his beauty. “Bluebell! Run!” Charger said again. Bluebell shook out her mane and then turned, racing away. Charger was about to race away to, and then the unthinkable happened. Ropes were around his neck in a second. Charger reared, his head tossing to the side, his ears flat. He neighed loudly, but the humans kept the grip firm on the rope.

Whipping her head around, to hear the incoming noise, Elara's gaze widens, when she sees that Charger was now galloping, nearly at full speed, towards Bluebell and a group of wranglers. Her ears flatten in anger, as she looks around. So far, the rest of the herd was safe, so as long as the wranglers didn't push harder, they would be fine. She was pulled immediately out of her thoughts, when she sees that Charger had a large, coarse rope around his neck, and it had tightened. Narrowing her eyes, she snorts loudly, digging her hooves into the grass, as she charged across the meadow, so that she could help. She wasn't about to let Charger get taken away. He was her best friend, ever since they were foals. With ears flattened to her head, she rears, pushing her hooves into one of the horses, causing one of the men to fall off. Right before she could turn and try to free Charger, she could feel a coarse rope pass over her head, before snagging her....rather tightly.

Charger let out another high pitched neigh, and within a few seconds, Elara had a rope around her neck as well. They were caught, and there was nothing they could do about it. Charger stomped the ground angrily, his ears pinned to the back of his head. Why was it Bluebell he had to fall in love with? He wondered. She ended up getting caught, yes Charger had saved her life, but now he and Elara were caught themselves. The herd had eventually realized what was happening and they began to run….out of sight. Charger just watched in horror as they disappeared. The rope was being pulled now and it was forcing Charger to move. He tried to stay still but it didn’t work, the rope was tight and it was still pulling at his neck. Finally, he gave in and began walking. He looked over at his best friend. “Are you ok?” He asked, sorry flashing in his gaze.

Tossing her head around, frantically, digging her hooves into the grass, Elara was completely refusing to move, until the loud crack of another loose rope forced her to move forward. The whites of her eyes were showing, and she continued to toss her head in resistance. She almost didn't hear Charger, since she was just trying to get free. Even though the herd had run off, it was better than them all getting caught. She was trailing behind the others, because of her refusal, and there was that constant cracking of the rope, that was the only thing getting her to move forward. Looking over at Charger, she shakes her head. "No, I'm not okay. Look at what happened to us," She says. She held some resentment at Bluebell, for inadvertently getting them into this mess.

Charger looked over at Elara and he watched her struggle with the rope….which they were both doing. Charger let out a snort. “This is Bluebells fault” Charger said simply. “If I didn’t love her we wouldn’t be in this situation right now” he said, flattening his ears a bit. “I’m so sorry, Elara” Charger told her, as he looked down at the ground and tried to stop. But the ropes just kept pulling him along. Charger looked back. “Do you think we’ll ever see our family’s again..?” Charger dared to ask. “If we do, I’m going to find a different mare to like. Bluebell is reason we’re in this situation right now” Charger said with a mini snort. Why did Charger have to fall in love with Bluebell. Why couldn’t it just have been a horse from his herd? Now, he and Elara were captured. All because of Bluebell.

Looking over at Charger, as she thrashed around, Elara shakes her head. "Charger....this isn't Bluebell's fault. She had no idea that this was going to happen. With humans, they are very unpredictable creatures. None of us would've ever thought that they would get this close to us. She didn't know. I can't recall the last time humans have been up in this valley. But I swear to you, I am going to get out of here. There is no way that I am letting humans control me. I'm going to fight until I am either free, or until my last breath. If you still wish to pursue Bluebell, you really shouldn't blame her," She says, as she still tries to dig her hooves into the grass, only to jolt forward, when a loud rope from behind, cracks, loudly, against the ground.

Charger sighed a little bit. He really did love Bluebell, and it really wasn't her fault. At this point, Charger didn't know what to do. "Right now, I don't even know what to do with my love life" He admitted with a sigh. "Yes, I love Bluebell, but she doesn't even know me" Charger added as he tried to stop walking as well. That didn't work. He was slapped on the behind and forced to move forward again. "I trust you, Elara" Charger said. "We will get out of this, together, no matter how long it takes." Charger said. "I promise you, we will stay together, or at least we can try" He added. He sighed a bit. It felt like his fault that they were in this situation now. He looked over at his best friend and then back at the humans how were forcefully leading them away from the herd and everything they loved. Charger's ears were pinned to the back of his head and he felt anger mixed in with sadness in his eyes. "Elara...is it my fault?" Charger finally asked his best friend. "Is it my fault we're in this situation?" He asked her.

Throwing her head up and down, trying as hard as she could to get free, Elara could tell that the humans were not going to give up. For every moment that they stopped, bucked, reared, or threw their head up.....there was the sound of ropes and yelling. She even lunged a bit, trying to bite at one of the humans. Humans disgusted her. They came here, trespassing on a place that wasn't theirs, taking something that didn't belong to them. They were plucking wild horses out of this valley, like they owned them. Looking at Charger, she shakes her head. "It's not your fault, Charger. It's theirs. You didn't bring them to this valley. They came here of their own accord. We just need to figure out how to get out of here, not think about whose fault it is, or even if there is someone at fault in the first place," She says, as she continues to thrash her head up and down, and side to side.

Charger looked over at Elara and he nodded a bit. It still felt like this was his fault. He had fallen in love with the horse that fly then caught to begin with. Charger struggled angrily from where he was. He tossed his head to the side, his ears pinning angrily. He pawed at the ground and froze mid walk. The humans slapped his with a rope. He let out a whinny of pain and continued to walk once more. Charger looked over at Elara. “They’re just abusing us!” He said angrily.

Looking back at the humans, Elara glares at them, as they force her forward. As she looks ahead, her eyes widen, and she really digs her hooves into the ground. There was a large, wide mouthed, metal monster. It looked like there were many horses being pushed towards it. Now, the horses up ahead, were completely unfamiliar to her, which wasn't strange, given that wild herds existed all over this valley. "We're in serious trouble, Charger. That thing is going to take us away. With all of those horses, there is a chance that we could be separated. Stay as close as you can," She says.

"I won't loose you" Charger promised Elara as they were pushed into the metal monster. Charger pawed angrily at the metal floor, but nothing he did worked....he and multiple other horses were free roamed in this monster thing. Charger's ears were pinned to the back of his head and he continued to snort angrily. "What gives these humans the right to take us from our home?" Charger said angrily. He pawed at the ground again as his nosed flared with rage. This was his fault. No matter how many times Elara said it wasn't his fault, it was completely his fault. HE was the one to fall in love with a mare from another herd, HE was the one to save her, HE was the one to get them into this mess. It was his fault! Charger hated himself for it, but he knew that Elara was right in some way....the would most likely get separated, and if that happened, Charger would NEVER give up on finding his best friend.

Thrashing her head from side to side, Elara was still digging her hooves into the ground, as she watched a few unfamiliar mustangs get whipped, forcing them into the large monster. It looked so small, dark, and crowded. It was clear, that there was no avoiding the inevitable. As hard as they had tried, they hadn't been able to get away, and were going to be forced into the monster. Flicking her tail back and forth, when they were both at the mouth of the monster, she looks over at Charger. "Listen. Charger. If we do get separated, I promise that I will find you. I'll never concede to humans. I will find you again, and we will get out, and go home. Don't give up on that, and the humans will never win. Don't wallow in self-pity either, or you'll get sucked too deeply into the world of humans," She says, as they were soon forced into the metal monster.

Charger nodded. "I promise to find you too, Elara" Charger promised his best friend as he thrashed his head to the side as he was forced into a metal monster. He neighed angrily as Elara was thrust out of his view. "ELARA!!" Charger neighed loudly, his head whipping around as he tried to look for his best friend...but she was no where to be seen. Although he thought he heard her neighing a few feet away. The metal monster was filled with loads of mustangs. All banging at the door as they tried to escape. "How do we get out of here?" Charger asked one of them. Another stallion, who seemed to be older than him, snorted. "We can't" The stallion said. Charger looked at him. "You mean we're trapped?" Charger asked. "Precisely." The stallion said. Charger let out an angry snort and thrust his feet against the metal wall...nothing happened.
